Designed to be used as both a facial cleanser and make-up remover, Toleriane Dermo Cleanser 200mL can be rinsed off or removed with cotton or tissue. Gently cleanses the face and effectively removes makeup. Toleriane Dermo Cleanser has a soft, fluid milky and nourishing texture. With La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water. Best used in a daily skincare routine suitable for sensitive skin types, including a sensitive day and night moisturiser and a soothing facial serum. Directions

Pat on, massaging in a circular motion, with fingertips, then carefully wipe off using a cotton ball/pad, taking care not to rub. Rinsing with water is optional.

I felt like this cleanser worked hard rather than me working hard at removing all my Make-up. I did tend to do a double cleanse for those times when I wore heavier make-up but for day to day was so effective for a good cleanse. I love the texture which isn't too thick but thick enough to be effective. Beautiful for my sensitive skin and is a cleanser I would definitely recommend as it didn't dry out my skin afterwards and left it feeling quite moisturised.

My skin is easily irritated by fragrance so I love that this didn’t have a scent. I did find I had to double cleanse to remove all traces of makeup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cleanser, great to use after a long summer day weather you were at work or out at the beach this cleanser was fantastic. It made me feel so refreshed. The formula was so thick and full so you don’t need to use a whole lot to cover your face. I have sensitive skin and it didn’t sting or dry my skin out like most cleansers do which was fabulous. Love this brand, definitely recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a super gentle cleanser that I would recommend for the morning time.\n\nIt is a thickish, creamy texture that feels luxurious and nourishing when you massage it into your face. You need about a 20 cent coin size to clean your whole face, which means that this bottle will last for ages!\n\nMy skin loves this cleanser, because it is not stripping - in fact, my face feels plumper after using it!\n\nIt can be wiped off, but I prefer to rinse it off as it dissolves into a milky cleanser that leaves my skin feeling lovely and hydrated.\n\nI would not recommend this to remove makeup - even though it can dissolve base makeup I don't think it is powerful enough to cleanse it entirely off. I tried to use it as a makeup remover, and ended up with pimples the next morning, so I'm going to stick to using it as a morning cleanser.\n

Although, I did find that it would be best to remove makeup with micellar water beforehand as this doesn't get off 100% of the residual makeup. I have found that my skin is less red and irritated. This is definitely a great cleanser for sensitive and acne prone skin!

I use this product in conjunction with my FaceHalo to remove makeup (particularly full glam makeup). This product does a thick milk-y consistency, so I recommend to use 5-10 cent piece amount. Also, though the bottle says you do not have to rinse the product off - you must definitely have to rinse it off with water as it can leave a film on your face. \n\n

Instructions said to either massage it in and leave it on, which I found a little unusual for a cleanser, or you could rinse it off with water. I rinsed it off afterwards though. I wouldn’t like to leave a cleanser on the face after using it, didn’t seem right! I used it morning and night on bare skin. It was silky smooth and pleasant to use, with a slight sheen and was easy to massage in. As I have sensitive skin along with rosacea, it was gentle enough and fragrance-free, so it did not cause any skin irritation. I would recommend this for sensitive skin prone to redness, and would be happy to buy this again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I use this cleanser either in the morning on its own, as it’s gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling supple and moisturised, or at night as the first cleanse in my routine as it helps remove some of the makeup residue. For night it’s not my first cleanser of choice and I’d not repurchase it for this purpose. Using it in the morning however has been a game changer, I used to use more abrasive products and often felt my skin getting oily throughout the day as it was stripped from all the good stuff. Now my skin stays feeling normal and doesn’t overproduce sebum. I do enjoy using this product with my Foreo as it’s very gentle and has a nice slip to it, making it easy to get to all areas of my face. I’d consider repurchasing this unless I’d found something cheaper as other than leaving my skin feeling supple I’ve not experienced other benefits of this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser is a nice cream based cleanser ideal for sensitive or dry skin types. You can massage it into the face gently on top of makeup to help break that down, before wiping  clean with a cloth (like muslin or microfibre). I would then rinse the face to remove any residual cleanser. My skin felt amazingly soft after using this and it’s good for anti aging practice in regards to not pulling/stretching the skin around your eyes. I did find it struggled to remove mascara fully so a dedicated eye makeup remover may be required. \nI’ve never been a fan of cream cleansers but I actually liked this one & will continue to use it! It didn’t cause any breakouts whatsoever which is a major plus along with feeling gentle on my skin.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A wonderful simple cream cleanser great for a morning cleanse or second cleanse in the evening. I loved that it was fragrance free and easy to use; however, I do wish it came with a pump. I did not irritate my skin or eyes which is very important to me and didn't leave me feeling tight after rinsing ( I have not tried patting dry without rinsing the product off as is suggested on the bottle). Overall I would say that the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo Cleanser is a great cleanser for anyone with sensitive skin no mater their skin type, however, I would not use this cleanser to remove makeup.

I used it as part of my double cleanse routine and used the Dermo-cleanser in place of an oil cleanser. It was able to break down my makeup and left my skin feeling hydrated. It's great that it didn't contain fragrance as well and would be suited for everyone, even if you have sensitive skin. However I don't think it is able to remove all makeup and I definitely recommend using a second cleanser to make sure everything is removed. I like to pair it with the Simple facial wash.

Would definitely recommend this product as a cleanser and feel the price for quantity in bottle feels about right. I wouldn’t recommend/ market this product as a makeup remover.

I love the softness of my skin after I cleanse rather than the tight dry feeling. It’s not the best for removing makeup, so I will either double cleanse or use a makeup remover before the shower. I will definitely keep this cleanser in my daily routine. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from At first I was a bit disappointed with this cleanser as I felt it didn't really remove my makeup and my face didn't feel as clean as it does with other cleansers, but my skin did look much better afterwards. I persevered with this cleanser and decided to use a muslin cloth to help remove the residue - and I got an amazing result, my skin felt soft and hydrated. The cleanser has definitely helped with my redness (along with their serum) and I have noticed real changes in the appearance of my skin. I will continue to use this along with their serum.

Admittedly, it is not the most convenient product to use because it is quite runny and because it requires you to massage it into your skin, if you reach for the bottle again it quickly becomes very greasy and unhygienic. Although the instructions claim that there is no need for rinsing, I felt that merely patting dry my face left a lot of the oil and makeup reside on my skin, so that's definitely something to look out for. Overall I felt it did its job fine and didn't cause my skin to become parched though, so a thumbs up for that.

So many cleansers i have previously used have left  my skin needing moisturizer, but La Roche-Posay has managed to give you a cleanser which leaves you a soft, supple sensation, without any irritation of my sensitive skin.\n\n

It did however leave my skin, clean, soft and non irritated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really enjoy this cleanser- although only as a second or morning cleanse it if I'm not wearing makeup because this cleanser does not get rid of any makeup on the skin as it is so gentle. However I have quite sensitive skin and thus has worked amazingly for me. I don't get any tight dry feeling and my skin feels plump and hydrated after. I also enjoy the fact the product has no fragrance- which can often be irritating. Overall a great simple second cleanse!

It is gentle and has very little fragrance, and is easy to wipe or wash off, and leaves my skin smooth. I like the fact that the bottle is not a solid colour, which makes it easy to see how much is left for future purchase

The consistency made it feel more like moisturiser more than anything. My only complaint was that it struggled a little with some of the stubborn make up like mascara to remove but overall was good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I’m not 100% on this cleanser yet. It’s  great for my sensitive skin and left my skin feeling soft and clean. It didn’t cause any redness or dryness. The only problem I had with the cleanser was that it didn’t remove my make up. It’s a great cleanser on its own but I wouldn’t reccomend using it as a make up remover. I usually prefer foaming cleaners but I’ll keep using this one. Not to sure if I’d use it every day although i would use it when my skin is really sensitive and red. Good product for what it is, just not sure if it’s for me yet!

I enjoyed the lack of fragrance, but needed to rinse off as opposed to the directions on the container. Its quite a small container for a cleanser though. I would have to replace this often.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A gentle cleanser that really helped with my dry sensitive skin. Initially I was not sold on it however persisting after a few tries, I really started to see the effects. The redness on my skin had started to clear up and left my skin glowing and hydrated. In saying that, it is rather basic cleanser so I would recommend removing your makeup first to ensure that your skin is thorougly cleansed.

This was just what I was looking for. It’s not overly smelly and felt light enough that I could use it morning and night. I didn’t see DRASTIC results which is normal as my acne is hormonal however I did feel it was doing it’s job as a cleanser very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from To be honest I was a bit skeptical of this product - as someone who uses micellar water regularly to cleanse my skin, swapping it out for the Dermo-Cleanser was new and interesting. Rub this cream into your skin, no need to wash off, and bam - clean! My combination skin was happy - no drying out, and not too oily resulting in clean and clear skin! Granted, I didn't try this as a full on make up remover - I'll stick to my oil for that - but to get off the nightly sweat and grime, it did a fabulous job!
