Cleanser & moisturiser skincare set for oily, acne-prone skin.

The Effaclar range is a daily use regime for sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin. The Effaclar Anti-Acne Starter Kit provides you with your Effaclar daily routine with up to a two-week supply, great for trial or travel. Contains Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel 50ml and Effaclar Duo (+) 15ml. Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel is a foaming cleanser specially formulated for sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin. This gentle and effective acne face wash eliminates impurities, excess sebum and lifts away dirt. The Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel cleanser respects the skin's PH balance. The gentle formula has a pH 5.5, the average PH value of the skin's surface, so there is no disruption to the skin's natural balance. Effaclar Duo (+) is a corrective moisturiser that hydrates the skin and targets blemishes, imperfections and marks. Effaclar Duo (+) is a dual-action pimple cream that targets acne prone & congested skin. This acne cream exfoliates dead skin and excess sebum, reduces redness, spots and breakouts, stimulates cell renewal and targets skin imperfections. KEY INGREDIENTS: - NIACINAMIDE: Active ingredient for intensive soothing. Decreases redness. - PROCERAD: Helps protect against the appearance of red or brown marks. Prevents post-acne marks. - ZINC: Reduces sebum and purifies the skin.

Directions

1. Wet face first with lukewarm water.
2. Apply a small amount of the Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel
3. Massage gently into the skin to form a lather every morning and evening.
4. Rinse thoroughly with water.
5. Apply a thin layer of the Effaclar Duo Plus to the whole face every morning and evening. Only a small amount of cream is needed.

Avoid getting this product in your eyes, nose or mouth, or on any broken skin as this may cause irritation. If contact occurs, rinse the area immediately and thoroughly.

This immediately reduced the acne redness and size overnight, and has helped prevent more cases of acne since! We have tried many products with differing results but nothing ever cleared it up completely, until now! Your face definitely feels clean after this. A bigger trial box with all the products in it that are meant for acne prone skin would be good instead of just the 2 products

Although there are still some bumps on my cheeks but it’s only been 4 days so it might take some time. The Effaclar duo is great but is this supposed to be a moisturiser or do I need to moisturise on top of this?

It has kept my breakouts away and has started to improve my skin. I still have some acne scar blemishes that are taking a little longer to heal but overall I can see some major improvements with my skin. I absolutely love how it makes my skin feel so smooth and supple when I wake in the morning. Will be definitely purchasing the full sized products to continue my nightly routine and see more fantastic results. Makes me feel more confident to wear less make up!

But this product gave me certain lumps on my face and neck. 3 of the ones on my face eventually formed a white tip and I was just able to squeeze it and a lot of puss came out. It's not the usual pimple. I don't know what it is. But it definitely cleared all the usual pimples I get.
