General Information

Excilor® is clinically proven to treat fungal nail infections.*

Fungal nail infections are difficult to reach and to treat as the infection grows on both the inside and outside of the nail.

Excilor® was specifically developed to treat fungal nail infections and is based on three principles: 

1. Effective mode of action: Excilor® controls the nail's microenvironment and changes the pH's levels making it hostile for fungal growth.

2. Optimal, rapid and complete nail penetration: Excilor® has Transactive Technology™, a unique and superior nail penetration technology, that enables to penetrate reach deep in the nail so it is treated from the inside out.

3. Convenience: Easy and quick to apply, no need to file the nail and dries within seconds. 

It usually takes a few months before an affected nail looks completely healthy again as the damaged nail needs time to grow out. On average, a toenail grows 1.5 mm in one month.

Warnings

For external use only.
Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients.
Avoid all contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If the product comes into contact with eyes or mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly with water.
No clinical data are available on use of the product by children, or by pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Diabetics with foot problems should consult their doctor before using Excilor®.
Do not use the product after its expiry date.

Ingredients

Glycerol, nail care lipids and biotin. Ethyllactate, acetic acid, penetration enhancer, film-forming agent, water, glycerol, polysorbate 80, cetyl acetate, acetylated lanolin alcohols, biotin and preservative (contains no parabens)

Directions

Please read the leaflet carefully.

USAGE ADVICE

1. Clean the nail and if wearing nail polish remove completely prior to using Excilor®.
2. Use the applicator to coat the whole nail and the underside of the nail rim with the product.
3. Allow the nail to dry (1 to 2 minutes) before putting on socks and/or shoes.
4. Apply to the infected area twice a day (once in the morning and once in the evening). For best results, treat the infected area for a minimum of three months. It is best to continue the course of treatment until the nail has recovered completely.

This allows the product to penetrate the nail. Following application, it is quite normal to feel a tingling sensation under the nail; this shows that the product has penetrated the nail fully.

Do not press down hard on the applicator when applying the product.
Make sure the applicator is fully closed after each treatment to prevent evaporation.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Keep away from heat or direct sunlight.
Keep out of the reach of children and animals.
Do not burn discarded applicators.

So simple to use and my new nail bed, which has started to grow, looks really good! I have about a quarter of a bottle left and I will continue to use it until it is empty and until I have a completely new nail! I was a little skeptical at first but needed to give it a go, as I have put up with this unsightly nail fungus for years!! I am wrapped that it actually works and believe me, it is worth the money! If you are suffering from unsightly fungal nail infections, hands or toes, try it but be true to yourself and follow the easy, no fuss instructions!

If you have extensive fungus on one big toe and slight on the other, you might get away with one package. Buy 2 for more infection and for later use.

Now they have grown they have about a quarter to still go. Will get third bottle which should finish treatment. This solution has definitely worked but has taken 6 months so far. My GP said the timeframe was approximately 6-12 months, so far on track.

Over time I hadn't noticed the change of my toe nails until my daughter pointed out how discolored and thick they had become. I started using Excilor Nail fungal Solution the way it said to on the pack. Each morning and night religiously. Very easy and quick. When the nails started to grow I could see a distinct difference in colour and smoothness. Be patient. You have to be. If your looking for a quick fix this isn't for you. But If you're a patient person and looking for something that actually works than get it. You'll definitely see results with your first nail cut.

I’m hoping this will work - however it is too early to tell - will take around 6 months nail growth & whilst using this current treatment “Excilor” twice daily - so perhaps I will review again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy application = management without cure Ive had with more frequent usethis toenail fungus for about 5 years now. Ive been using Excilor for all of that time, both the pen and brush applicators. Ive noticed the brushed liquid application seems more effective. Effectiveness increases with more frequent use - so 4 times a day or more. But sometimes I forget. Sometimes its too cold to just wear open sandals for aeration of feet. Sometimes I have to wear workboots with thick socks on the farm - which increases toe moisture and fungus loves that. So I've found Excilor helps manage the fungus (stops my toenails deteriorating), but never actually cures the condition. Its better than nothing.
