1. Wash hands and all equipment before preparing formula.2. Sterilise all equipment by boiling for five minutes or by using an approved steriliser.3. Boil fresh drinking water for five minutes and leave to cool.4. When cool, measure out the required amount of water and formula by consulting the feeding guide.5. Using only the scoop provided, lightly fill one measurement of the powder and use levelling blade on tin. Pour powder into the prepared water, cap bottle and shake until the powder is dissolved.6. Check the formula temperature with your wrist, then feed immediately.Feeding Guide - To prepare one feedAge of Infant - Cooled Boiled Water (mL) - Level Scoops of Formula - Formula Feeds per Day.Up to 2 weeks - 60mL - 1 - 7-8.2 weeks - 3 months - 120mL - 2 - 6.3-6 months - 180mL - 3 - 5.One level scoop = 8.8g of formula. Note: One scoop of powder added to 60mL water yields approximately 67mL of formula. Your baby may need more or less than indicated. Ideally formula should be prepared just prior to feeding. I had originally used Karicare coming home from hospital to supplement, but after a few days of needing to go full formula, I found it was no good for my little one. Thankfully, I found this formula which has been amazing since day one. Pros: - They say all formula gives babies green or harder bowel movements… but this isn’t true! Our little one was straining and crying from the previous brand and it broke our heart! This formula keeps him regular and has turned his movements to mustard, the colour they should be! This was a big factor for me in changing formulas. All babies take a few weeks for their digestive system to come online properly but this formula was really gentle during that time for him. - It mixes really well, so you can feel comfortable about shaking it (or swishing it) as hard as you need to and the bubbles disappear fast! Pair this with an anti-colic bottle and you’re good to go. - DHA but no fish! Other formula brands that include DHA often use a fish based product (see allergy warning section) which makes the formula smell like fish. This formula smells fantastic and my little one loves the taste. - The scoop is a good size for narrow neck bottles, which isn’t the case with all scoops which often cause a mess. - Australian made and owned with Aussie cow milk! Cons - A prebiotic but no probiotic — however, this is best added by you separately anyway after talking to your doctor as it might not be a good match for your baby (and so the hot water doesn’t kill the strain anyway when preparing). - I wish it was available at a major supermarket as Chemist Warehouse isn’t always within reach of me. Looking forward to a subscription!

After reading reviews we decided to try Blackmores when I stopped breastfeeding, what a delight, smooth transition. Never had any gas or constipation problems. It smells lovely and baby loves it!
