The familiar demonic odour of colour remover was not present from the beginning..it’s now reminiscent of very cheap garlic bread upon application. The sulfuric stink develops during finishing and has lingered on my head for an extended length of time, longer in fact than most of my past jobs and relationships. I purchased and used two boxes with no result. Not my first colour stripping rodeo so I was familiar with the procedure and expected results. Achieved maybe 1 degree of lift at best, dandruff shampoo would’ve worked harder and been money better spent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT USE I have extremely long, healthy hair that I used a box dye over, it had mostly faded and I wanted to try this, 2 minutes in and I had a bad feeling, rinsed it out, when my hair dried it was stretching and snapping at the ends, your hair won’t survive this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stinky I have used this product a few years ago with absolutely no issues at all but I used this color remover on my naturally dark brown hair that has been dyed twice once with burgundy and once with an almost black dye recently, it definitely removed the dye and restored my natural color but the smell it disgusting not too dissimilar to rotten eggs. I think the formula has definitely changed because this wasn't the case the first time I used this product. 100% opt for a different brand unless you want relentlessy stinky hair no matter how many times you wash it.

After reading many reviews and seeing that this was the best product to use, I purchased it. I followed ALL steps correctly. Even read the instructions 3 times. I applied the solution to my hair and waited 1hour and saw no lifting. None whatsoever. I am unsatisfied with this product, and I will not be purchasing again. What a waste of $20.99

Decided to remove the brown box dye to then go to a salon and get lighter foils instead. Apart from the horrendous smell I now have orange hair. I was sceptical to begin with now i definitely don't recommend this product

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Smell Imaginable The product worked and was easy enough to use, but it left my hair reeking of chemicals and cheap flowery perfume. I’m not exaggerating, it’s disgusting and so strong it stinks out the entire house, I’ve washed my hair 9 times now and I can’t get rid of the terrible smell! It’s been days and the stench is so bad my family won’t come near me and I can’t go out in public. I’ve tried soaking my hair for hours in clarifying shampoos and nothing works. Save yourself an absolute nightmare and avoid this product like the plague.

I thought I would just ignore the negative reviews, but I regret that I did. I followed the instructions to the letter, and still it had ZERO effect besides drying my hair out. Don't waste your money on this crap. I ended up getting my hair decoloured at a hairdressers and they did it quicker, cheaper and much more effectively.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from absolutely disgusting more then disappointed now the third time i’ve used this product. the first time i bought 2 box’s and it did nothing the second time i used it i bought two boxes again and it took the colour out then a day later all the colour i thought it had taken out came back and last night for the third time i used this product and bought three boxes! and it did nothing! i am infuriated with the money i spend over and over again and the results i got back. will never ever buy again

It's been over 48 hours and my hair still reeks of a smell so foul i can't describe. I advise all; DO NOTT BUY. If i could give less than 1 star i would. Use any other product than this.

I followed the instructions to the letter and was very disappointed with the result. The smell after the process was disgusting until my hair dried. But...each time it became damp again, the smell returned, for weeks! I'm not sure what it does to the hair, but lingering bad smell after repeated washing can't be good! Luckily Chemist Warehouse gave me a refund; thank you! Enough with the chemicals - just grow your colour out!!!!

I hadn't dyed my hair for a while and wanted to go natural, now it's just made the contrast even stronger. Too scared to try again. Waste of money, bad hair, and bad smell.
