Directions

Add one 25g sachet to 200ml of cold skim milk (less than 1% fat). Blend or shake to dissolve. Drink immediately. Once prepared any unused portions should be discarded, it should not be stored for use at a later time. One serve of the Optislim VLCD Platinum shake can be replaced with one serve of any other product in the VLCD range.

I have bought more than 10 box of Optislim since last year, I usually use it as my breakfast, comes with unsweetened almond milk, it tastes good and I like chocolate flavor the most, by the way it is also a good choice to try banana flavor or strawberry flavor. I had three replacements in one day, and loose 1kg the next morning, it is obvious to see the result.

The other flavor I got was chocolate. This seems to be working for me. I noticed that after I had my morning shake i was not at all hungry for anything after I finished it.

So, for those who prefer soy/oat/almond milk this might be a better option than other brands where you just add water

I have to add a teaspoon of instant coffee to add more depth to the flavor. I find that almond milk is best for the platinum range but if I use Almond Breeze, it gets too thick for my liking. Overall, still prefer the LCD range than the platinum.

I’ve needed to loose weight quickly and this product is good for that so long as it’s only used in the short term (a few weeks just to kick start the diet) I lost 2kg in the first week, then averaged 1-1.5kg pw the following. However it is initially very salty in flavour (all flavours have this issue) and hard to get use to. I’d recommend just using the shakes to replace one or two meals, unless you’re on a crash diet, as otherwise it’s overwhelming to try and stick with it all day everyday. It’s also surprisingly filling for only 1 cup, let it hit your stomach and work it’s magic and you will realise it works well to curb the appetite.

This one a subtle coffee - like an sweet iced coffee. 200ml of liquid isn't too much, which might be why I wasn't feeling 'full' for 2.5-3hrs. By 1.5-2hrs I was looking for something to nibble on. But on milk it is a heap better for taste and fullness - I used lactose free and almond milk options - both great (better than water). However this is the VLCD... so I guess the point is make your body burn fat.
