Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this cleanser. Loving the Biore' deep pore Charcoal Cleanser. It is a liquid gel texture and it feels so good and refreshing on the skin with a cooling sensation. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, smooth and brighter without any irritations. This deep pore cleanser smells really good and foams up really quick when applying. The packaging is great in this pump bottle and will last a while, you only need to apply a small amount of product.

I don't wear makeup day-to-day but am out in weather and dust so wanted something that would really clean my skin in-shower, as I don't make time for separate routines. Impressed at this cleanser, it's in a pump pack and thin profile pack so sits nicely in my shower caddy. My skin feels menthol-y and squeaky clean after using it, and I have noticed a definate reduction in oil shine and visible pores on my nose area. An added bonus is the price - very affordable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This cleanser feels wonderful! *I have combination/oily skin prone to pimples and blackheads* Things I like about this cleanser: - pretty much everything! Don't be afraid of the colour. This cleanser foams up to white foam with a hint of grey. Some people might find the smell overpowering, but I like it, it smells clean. This cleanser makes my skin tingle a little, but in a good way, and leaves my skin feeling really clean, even after a long (and oily) day. Definitely doesn't make me break out - but I wouldn't say stops pimples and blackheads from appearing. I'm not a huge fan of the pump bottle from a travelling perspective - but other than that, this cleanser is one of my favourites.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing for the price Most charcoal cleansers are super expensive and don't do much. With this i feel so fresh and clean after using it. I especially love the menthol feeling it has. Its almost like a cooling effect. I do notice a huge difference in my skin whwn i use this mornimg and night for a whole week. My breakouts dissappear and my skins texture is more refined and smooth. This bottle lasts me ages as i only use alittle bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually does what it claims to do I have been using the Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser since I received it via Beautorium December 2014, during this time I have noticed the reduction in the size of the blackheads on my nose. And I have tried other treatments, steaming and exfoliating to no real improvement. But I am rapt with the Charcoal cleanser it actually works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oil Free Cleanser I was lucky to receive a foil sachet sample of the charcoal cleanser to try. Formulated with Natural Charcoal to help purify and clean facial skin. A daily oil free cleanser perfect for pores. Apply to wet face, work into a foam lather and massage over face. Only a small amount needed. Its translucent black in colour, a see through tinted black gel wash. Has a lovely aroma. Lathers beautifully and invigorates skin with an icy cool feeling. Feels like its working its magic with skin and pores, feels great. After massaging face and neck, rinse off with water. Skin feels super clean, built up oil and grime removed. Nose and chin creases well cleansed. This is a good wash for my combination skin. A great deep cleanser that does not dry skin out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. The Biore' Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser is amazing. This is my favourite cleanser, I love the feel, pretty much is a must have for me. It's a great deep cleanser that smells nice, leaving skin feeling fresh, smooth and brighter. With just a tiny amount it lathers up really well on wet skin. Packaging is nice and simple I also like that its a pump bottle, alot easier to apply. I was really surprised with how well this cleanser worked and will happily purchase this again as well as trying their other products.

When I first squeezed it out in to my hand I almost had second thoughts on using it, it was really murky colour and thick gooey consistance. Im glad I did use it cause its the best cleanser I have ever used. When mixed with a little water it turned into fluffy pure white soft foam and the smell was another plesant surprise. It felt soft on my skin and the tingly sensation was nice not too intense. It felt so gentle while using it but when id finished it was like id washed away ten years of dirt and grime and had a brand new face. The cool clean feeling lasted for a good while. My face felt super smooth and fresh almost felt like I did when I was a young girl. Other cleansers have left my skin feeling dry or the feeling of left over residue not making me feel clean at all this product is a big step ahead of any other cleanser Ive tried. Im interested to find out what my skin will be like when using this product daily.

It has a good lather and does a great job of making your skin feel really clean. I didn't have much of a chance to see if it reduced blackheads however the formula was interesting in that it has a peppermint effect on the skin. I really enjoyed this as it felt it was working however my partner used some by accident and really wasn't a fan. I would definitely use it again.

I have had problems with blocked and enlarged pores and as soon as i tried this i noticed amazing results! My pores felt cleaner, my face felt smoother, and along with the rest of my beauty cleansing arsenal, my face has never looked nor felt better! I have already purchased a second bottle of this product as i have that much faith in it.

After drawing a close to my Roaccutane treatment (a medication for the treatment of acne), I am now constantly on the hunt for a cleanser that is both gentle enough to not irritate my skin, deep enough to remove the oil off my t-zone, yet moisturising enough for my cheeks and chin which have a tendency to become dry and flakey. Seems impossible? Well I think I have it with this one! Tired of my previous Cetaphil which, although amazing at cleaning was becoming too bland, I loved switching over to this! The packaging is fantastic - housed in a tall pump bottle, it is convenient and hygienic to dispense. The colour of the product is a milky charcoal with some occasional pieces of what I assume to be some fine charcoal scrub (although it isnt abrasive aat all). The scent is amazing - fresh but sophisticated. With water added, it builds into a reasonable milky lather and spreads over skin with ease. My face is left glowing, bright and even! Some a bargain price too. I have also used it to clean stubborn makeup stains off brushes and my makeup sponges - simply wet the tool, soak in the cleanser for 10 minutes and the marks lift easily! 10/10 biore, will definitely repurchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beneficial Charcoal Ingredient I received the Charcoal Cleanser as part of the trial and I was excited to try this new formula. I have never used anything that had charcoal in it. It has been known for a long time that charcoal is highly beneficial to the skin. Charcoal is a porous substance that attracts and binds to dirt, chemicals and bacteria. I have used Biore in the past and the scent is very familar – it smells very pleasant and soothing. The actual formula of the cleanser is thick and dark in colour with tiny black specks. I love how it really does deep cleanse the face and I find it removes all my stubborn makeup and leaves my skin feeling very clean and fresh. A small amount of product is enough for my entire face, I use it with a Clarisonic so it lathers up a lot! I assume it has menthol on it because my skin has this 'cooling' sensation afterwards which feels nice. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry like some other heavy cleansers do, I now use this everyday and I am loving it. I recommend this product for people with combination/oily skin, it works really well at deep cleaning your skin and leaves it with a squeaky-clean feel. Lovely product!

I had no end of trouble finding this cleanser - after reading so much about it I was super keen, and eventually purchased it online from Priceline as no store in my area seems to stock it. I kinda knew I'd love it though, so I ordered three bottles - onto my second now, and it's definitely my current favourite cleanser. It smells delightfully fresh and zingy, and it fascinates me how it's so black in the bottle, but as soon as it mixes with water, it turns white, lathers beautifully, and takes off all my long-wear makeup. The blackheads on my nose are now non-existent, and after washing it off, my face feels super clean, amazingly refreshed, and there's something in it that has a cooling effect - I know I'm going to love it even more in Summer. Definitely a winner - congrats Biore!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bioré have done it again! I've been using Bioré for years because it was the first product I used that gave me visible results. I've given this 5 stars, it's flawless, but it's not even my favourite Bioré cleanser. The scent is hard to define. It's got such a mild smell that it's almost unscented, yet I can smell a freshness. The pump dispenses a small amount, but that's all you need. The texture is a thick almost black gel - no drips here. One small squirt is enough to cleanse face, neck & deck (décolletage). It foams up easily. Use a face washer or just your fingers. Enjoy the coolness as it foams up; enjoy the feel of super clean skin after using. I haven't come close to the end of the bottle yet, but if the bottle's anything like the Bioré 4-in-1 Revitalising Cleanser there won't be any waste of dregs. I love every Bioré product I've tried, & I've tried almost all of them.

I have normal skin and a fair complexion, so any signs of pimples or blemishes are quite obvious. I purchased this product because it was included in a special at the chemist and it looked so interesting, as it's black and in a nice pump bottle. I find the pump delivers the perfect amount of product and it lathers well on a wet face. You do have to have fairly wet skin before a nice lather will occur but I use it in the shower and that works fine for me. The product also smells nice, cleansing but not chemical filled. Once you rinse off, you get a nice, cooling feeling on your skin and it feels fresh and clean and I've found it removes even stubborn mascara.

It is something new and fun to try because as it has the charcoal ingredient which acts to minimise your pores. It has definitely purify and cleanse my skin which leaves my skin twice as clean as my basic cleanser because i feel so much more refreshing. The product smells nice like typical cleansers and the texture is smooth as it is gel like consistency which glades easily onto the skin. Product definitely does what it claims as i am seeing minimised pores and reduction in blackheads.

It cleans my face really well, doesn't irritate my skin and after a week or so of using it, less acne has been showing up on my face. All in all, its a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good job charcoal! I have seen so many charcoal bueaty products in Asia, did wonder when this would come to our shelves. Seeing my friends and families over there have better and whiter skin I was so jealous. They even use charcoal block to filter the water too. So I was so exciting when I see the biore ad on this via facebook, I went out to buy it immediately. Clean and clear bottle, this is was the new renewed packaging. Each pump give you perfect volume for one us. The pump is lockable too. Easy for travelling. The smell is the same as the nomal combination skin cleaner, very refreshing. I thought because of the charcoal, maybe it would smell burning. It's not the case. The 1st time I use it was after my run, hence my face were sweaty and sticky. The cleanser lathered well and rinse off my face very easy. I couldn't see any yucky charcoal bits in the shower either. On top of that, I felt super cleaned face afterward. The second night I used it, I didn't have a sweaty face, so the cleanser was bit sharp on my face after few seconds. It happens again the next night as well. I realised I might have to rinse it right away. Next few times are the same, so I reduced pumping usage to avoid such burns. It works lots better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the Job I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and decided to use this cleanser to see if it would help clear my acne. When pressing down on the pump, the product comes out as a black gel-like liquid. It foams up quickly and easily when adding water and rubbing it into a nice lather. It has a clean scent. When using the product to wash my face, I found I couldn't wash my face for the recommended 30 seconds because it made my face start to feel warm. When I washed it off, it did leave my face feeling very clean, albeit a little bit stripped of moisture. So all in all I think this is a good product that does its job, however I do not think I would recommend it for those with dry skin, or very sensitive skin types like myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Staple product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Biore strips are a bit of a staple for me, I would say I use them at least once a month and have since I was a teenager! The addition of charcoal in these new strips was exciting to try and see how they differ from the standard version. For first timers of nose strips, be sure to follow the directions carefully, including having a wet nose! You want your nose to have enough water for the strip to stick, but don't add water to the top of the strip once it is on, as this causes them to disintegrate a little. Be sure to place the bottom of the trip towards the very tip of your nose, as this keeps the top of the strip further away from the sensitive skin under your eyes. Removing them isn't exceptionally painful, similar to a bandaid, though I would recommend starting slowly from under the eyes. The Charcoal strips are meant to be perfect for oily skin, and I have a very oily T zone that is prone to blackheads. I found the Charcoal strips removed just as much gunk as the regular ones, though I found these to be gentler on the skin overall and improved the overall look of my pores. The downside to the Charcoal strips is they do leave a bit of a dark residue around the edges. This is easily removed with cleanser or micellar. Overall, I remain a huge fam of Biore strips, and would definitely look to repurchase these Charcoal ones over the standard strips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Deep Cleanse The Pores [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These do what they claim and deep cleanse the skin - a very handy product for keeping the pores clear of excessive sebum and hence blackheads caused by too much sebum that then has oxidised at the surface of the skin making the head of the pore look black. Great for areas at the nose area which is what these are specifically made for. They are easy to use - and very effective. They make the skin look and feel cleaner and I like that Biore has diverted from the ordinary original strips to add charcoal which is scientifically great for purfication and cleansing. The only thing it's harder to see the evidence on the black strip whereas the white strip it was easy to see the stuff that had been taken away from the clogged pore. Nevertheless, my skin is proof enough itself because the area felt cleaner, looked cleaner and felt nice and smooth too. The charcoal does seem to have an after effect on the skin to product less oil for a time after using them too. I like that these have an after effect. I can recommend these for deep cleansing the pores, as promised on the front of the box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice clean pores [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve previously used the Bioré Original Pore Strips and found them effective so I was keen to try the Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips to see if there was any noticeable difference. I don’t really need pore strips and only use them when given to me to trial but I do find them interesting and satisfying to use. The strips come in a pack of 6. As always with a product such as this I like to carefully follow the instructions so I don’t damage my skin. So after cleansing my face, wetting my nose and applying the strip I waited 15 minutes for the strip to dry and harden. Then came the hardest part for me – carefully peeling off the strip – but by ensuring I started at the edges and pulled slowly towards the centre I had no trouble at all. Okay, I couldn’t really see any gunk but my nose was incredibly smooth and my pores were almost invisible. So, obviously using the pore strip did something and I’ll continue to use these every so often. I don’t think these are any different to the other Bioré pore strips I have used.
