General Information

OvuPlan 10 Day Pregnancy Planning Kit is a complete kit for planning your pregnancy. The kit contains 10 ovulation tests and 1 pregnancy test.

 OvuPlan 10 Day Pregnancy Planning Kit helps you predict the 2 days each month when you are most fertile and helps you to increase your chances of becoming pregnant. This test will show if ovulation will occur within the next 24 to 36 hours, the time during which you are most likely to become pregnant. OvuPlan can help signal when you are most likely to be ovulating by detecting an LH surge. Most women can detect their LH surge within 8-10 days of daily testing with >99% accuracy.

Warnings

For in-vitro diagnostic use only. Not for internal use. Not for contraceptive use.

Directions

1. When you are ready to begin the test, collect your urine sample using the container supplied.
2. Open the foil packet and remove the test strip. Slide the foam ring onto the test strip past the arrow-marked section until the bottom of the foam ring is on the purple line.
3. Float the strip in your urine sample with the arrow-marked section submerged.
4. Read the result after 5 minutes have passed but before 10 minutes have passed.
5. If there is no line in the test line region or the test line is lighter than the control line, then you have not begun your LH surge and you should continue to test daily. If the colour of the test line is more intense than or equivalent to the control line, you have detected your LH surge. Ovulation should occur within 24 to 36 hours.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money Bought ovuplan in place of a cheaper brand freedom and these are even worse. These come with a foam ring and tells you to float the test for 5 min without splashing the result window. They don't float, it falls into the urine so you have to hold it upright for the full 5 min. The control line never really darkens it's a very light pink and takes a while for it to turn even after the 5 min of holding it in the urine. Guess I should have read reviews before I bought it.

I bought it because it had 10 instead of 7 like other kits, so I thought better value for more days, but in the end not worth the money. Will not use again.

The problem is the stick won't stay upright and often will fall over. Very annoying. Won't be buying again.

I followed the instructions exactly and never got a positive result. I have used other brands and gotten a positive result every month. Thought I’d save money and get this one. Don’t do it, not worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't use this, it doesn't work. I used this kit back in 2015 & 2017. Back then, it was dip the strip in the cup of urine for 30 seconds and let it sit for 5 minutes on a flat surface. It worked, I got pregnant both times from using this kit to track my ovulation. I decided to use it again a few days ago, and the first thing I noticed was the method was different, now it's float the test in the foam ring for 5 minutes and then when the time is up, that's your result. It did NOT detect my surge, and yet I ovulate between cycle day 14 and 16, every month without fail. I don't think a urine test works correctly if it's not laid down flat, as basically all pregnancy tests and ovulation test warn against holding the tests upright while the result is being calculated. For the last 3 days I have been panicking thinking there was something wrong with me, until I read a review from 9 months ago on this site written by someone with the same issue. Never again, I won't trust this brand. I think I will go with first response next time. My fault for assuming it was still good instead of reading the recent reviews on this product before wasting $20 on it. The only positive I can say is it's nice they changed the pregnancy test included...before it wasn't an early pregnancy test you really did have to wait until you were late by a day or so before you could get an accurate result but you don't need to buy this kit for that, you can get a stand alone early pregnancy test for less than the cost of this kit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Experience I’ve been using First Response and Clear Blue for months now with no issues. This month I went to the chemist and they only had Ovuplan kits available. I purchased one and will never buy this product again. It never detected a LH surge, in fact it barely detected anything. Each of the 10 days had a barely visible line which is highly disappointing given I know I ovulate every single month and no other test strips have failed me like this. Save your money and stick with First Response if you can’t afford Clear Blue. Next time I’ll drive to another chemist to avoid buying this product again
