FIRST AID INFORMATION

See inner packs. For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (e.g. Phone Australia 13 11 26; New Zealand 0800 764 766) or a doctor (at once). If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. If in eyes, wash out immediately with water. Hold eyelids apart and flush the eye continuously with running water. Continue flushing until advised to stop by a Poisons Information Centre (e.g. Phone Australia 13 11 26; New Zealand 0800 764 766) or a doctor, or for at least 15 minutes. If skin or hair contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water.

Cream Colour Developer Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Hydrogen Peroxide, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Steareth-10 Allyl Ether/Acrylates Copolymer, Amodimethicone, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, C11-15 Pareth-7, Laureth-9, Glycerin, Trideceth-12, Disodium Phosphate, Phosphoric Acid, Methylparaben, EDTA.

After-Colour Conditioner Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Behentrimonium Chloride, Amodimethicone, Keratin Amino Acids, Silk Amino Acids, Acetic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Citric Acid, Isopropyl Alcohol, Trideceth-12, Parfum (Fragrance), Ethylparaben, Methylparaben, Phenoxyethanol.

Contains: Contains not more than 130mg/mL of Ethanolamine and 91mg/mL of Hydrogen Peroxide. Colourant contains Phenylenediamines and Resorcinol. Developer contains Hydrogen Peroxide.

Directions

Do not swallow. Before using, read insert for complete directions. Wear suitable gloves. Rinse hair well after application. Wait at least 14 days after relaxing, bleaching, or perming before colouring. Colourant contains phenylenediamines and resorcinol. Developer contains hydrogen peroxide. Mixing ratio: 1:1.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS

Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. Read and follow instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary "Black henna" tattoos may increase your risk of allergy.
Do not colour your hair if:
- you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp, - you have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair,
- you have experienced a reaction to a temporary "Black henna" tattoo in the past.
Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with skin. The preparation may cause serious inflammation of the skin in some persons. A skin allergy test must be completed 48 hours before you use this product, even if you have used colouring products before. Buy the product in advance to allow for the 48 hours allergy test. This product is not to be used on children.
Not to be taken.

The colour turned out beautiful and it did not fade at all. Very happy about this product. It made my hair really smooth and shiny like i did a treatment to my hair. I reccomend getting the revlon colorsilk with keratin inside it had red writing in it.

I use the color Medium Golden Chestnut Brown and it turns out a dark brown color with bronze/red highlights. The product makes my hair uniform in color from roots to ends. I like that its a no ammonia formula because it doesn't burn my scalp like a lot of other hair dyes. My hair also feels smooth and silky after using the conditioner packet. Plus I always get a lot of shine too. All in all, this is a great product and I highly recommend it.

My natural colour is a mousey dark brown with quite a few greys coming through. I tend to use this dye every 6 to 8 weeks to dye my roots. It is cheap enough that I don't feel bad just using half of it to dye my roots. The smell is not overpowering and the liquid is a nice thick cream. Once it is on your head it will stay there. I tend to move around and want to do stuff while waiting for the dye to finish and having a thick cream means that I don't leave dye all over the house. I apply the dye using the included bottle to my roots and leave it on for 20 minutes, I then apply the rest of the dye to the rest of my hair for the final 10 minutes. Definitely use the conditioner afterwards as I find the dye a little drying.

Although the picture had a more orangy color to it than auburn i knew that with my hair being black it wouldn't give me the same result as on the picture. As suggested on the instruction i used it 24 hours after shampooing with no styling residue on my hair. I did not do a patch test as I am not usually allergic to any hair color. I did my full head and the product was enough for my shoulder length hair. Although it recommends 30 min for full coverage i kept it on for 45 minutes. Washed it off with the conditioner sachet that came with the pack. The end result my hair didn't feel any smoother like the other hair colors would usually do but the coverage was good. The color result did not look like the picture on the box but it certainly had a good color. The final color was more reddish brown and i am happy that all my grey hairs have been covered. Overall i am happy with this product.

It worked very well and what really impressed me was the smell wasn't over-powering unlike many similar products that I have used. The only small criticism I could make would perhaps be that the conditioner sachet could be a little bit bigger for medium to long hair. All in all I would certainly use this product again!

You are instructed to add the colourant to the cream applicator bottle, and then apply. The packaging includes a set of gloves to protect your hands. I applied the colour to the roots of my hair and then used the remainder on the ends. I found the formula a little runny. I waited the 25min and then shampooed the colour out in the shower. I did use the conditioner that was included. I found that I needed to cut the packaging prior to getting in the shower as it was too hard to rip open. It does have a smell but it’s not horrible. I do really love the fact that it has no ammonia. The overall result was fantastic, full grey coverage. My hair looks revived and shiny. My hair feels soft and in good condition.

The box contains gloves, hair care information and instructions, colour and applicator. After applying this product I found no burning sensation or unpleasant smells you become accustomed to when dying your hair. After washing and applying the supied conditioner my hair was left incredibly shiny, with an even colour and silk to touch. I have received so many compliments since using this colour and will continue to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great colour and easy to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very pleased with the way the way the colour for the Revlon Colorsilk medium ash blonde (number 70) turned out. I have naturally blonde hair but still like to dye it to boost the colour a little and stop it looking so brassy. Just don't go by the photo on the box, my hair actually turned out a bit darker (maybe about a shade) but I still thought it looked really good. The photo on the box looks pretty light for a medium ash blonde so if you use it just be prepared for a slightly darker colour. I followed the instructions and left it on for 25 minutes followed by completely rinsing and using the satchel of conditioner. The dye is ammonia free so it was great to apply without that horrible overpowering smell that some hairdyes have. Sometimes the smell is so strong I can even smell it in my hair the next day, but not this one.... my hair smelt great especially after using the apple extract conditioner. The product was easy to apply, a good consistency to spread through the hair and I found one packet great to cover my medium length hair. I would definitely use this hairdye again! I really liked the nice natural ashy colour and would recommend this for those wanting to reduce the brassy tones in their hair.

I am an at home hair dyer from way back and I have never come across a product that does such a good job. I dye my hair blonde so I had the lightest shade there is. So the packaging is standard for a hair dye, it contains a bottle of colourant, a bottle of cream and a conditioner. The thing I found particularly fantastic about this product is that the gloves that are in the packet are actually a decent size, I didnt tear them just trying to put them on. I mixed all of the products together and started to put the product on my hair line and on the roots. Another positive for me was that the product didnt sting my scalp like some other products can, and the smell didnt sting my eyeballs. I left the product on for the recommended amount of time and proceeded to rinse through with warm water, massaging the product as I went. I waited until the water ran clear and put the sachet of conditioner through my hair. (I actually thought the conditioner sample was a bit skimpy, but I was amazed at how far that small amount went. I have rather long hair and it was enough to cover all of my hair). I left the conditioner in for about 5 minutes and then rinsed it out. My hair was left quite soft and I couldnt wait to see what colour my hair was. Unbelievably my hair, that is quite dark at the roots, was left a soft golden blonde colour that I just adore. This product has actually done a better job than other hair colourants that have ammonia in them, and the colour is actually much better. I couldnt be happier!!!!
