I am one for having dry skin and I absolutely loved the feel and dewiness of the foundation. The foundation had a really nice texture and also smelt amazing!!

It's hydrating, easy to apply, dries relatively quickly and provides good medium but buildable coverage. It's also really affordable to use as an everyday beater. The finish on my skin is quite dewy which I love for spring. I also love how it's extremely easy to apply and comes in a handy pump bottle. The coverage is quite good and feels like skin once applied. It covers my pigmentation well without concealer. Packaging is also sturdy so I didn't have any issues popping this in a makeup bag. Overall, a great everyday foundation. Colour selection is limited though so if you're lucky and can find a match I definitely will recommend.

The coverage is light to medium and very long lasting. Especially days now, it is hot and wearing a mask, it stayed on very well. You do need to set it properly so it does not transfer. I find that one pump is enough to cover my entire face, for me the coverage is enough. It does oxidise a bit, so keep that in mind when you are purchasing the shade. other then that, not much to complain about.

No cracking or sparseness. It also is a medium coverage and thankfully covers my red cheeks. I do agree that getting the last bit of product out of the bottle is difficult and that is the only reason it has lost one star. The foundation itself however is extremely affordable and is another Rimmel product that I will continually buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Longwearing, nice natural finish [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25HR Foundation comes packaged in a glass tube with a pump top applicator for quick and easy use. The foundation has nice texture that applies well with a makeup brush or sponge. I found the formula to provide a medium coverage that can be either sheered out when using a sponge, or built up by applying a thin second layer. It dries down well on the skin and provides a satin finish that is nice and natural on the skin – I find most long wear foundations are usually matte which I don’t personally like. Both powder and cream products apply well on top of it and I didn’t notice the foundation moving/rubbing off when using cream products. I did notice a bit of shine on the t-zone but that often happens with my combo-dehydrated skin type. The foundation did cling to a bit of dry skin around my nose though. After a long day of wear, it held up quite nicely with no major issues. The colour match is quite good for a drugstore foundation – I have the shade Ivory and it is just a touch too dark for me but isn’t something too overly noticeable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know most people don't seem to like fragranced makeup/skincare, but I LOVE having a nice smelling face (lol). This smells so nice and reminds me a bit of Lancome Teint Idole, however if fragrance isn't your vibe, don't be concerned because the fragrance doesn't hang around for long. This is a great foundation for the price, I love that it blends easily and lasts extremely well. My only hang up would be that it oxidises, so while it doesn't necessarily need to be set with a powder because of it's staying power, I find that I am using one to try and balance the oxidation.

This is medium coverage so if you like full coverage you'll need to build it up, I like medium coverage so this was a perfect everyday foundation for me. The foundation is light and it felt like I wasn't wearing anything on my face. I've had no issues with break outs either so thats an added bonus. It lasted quite awhile with just my setting spray but if you have oily skin, its best to set with powder.

I'm NC30 in Mac but with strong olive tones and the shade 220 Soft Beige suits me perfectly. Barely detectable on the skin, it applies very well with either a sponge or brush. It wears very nicely and does not settle into fine lines or pores during the day. I would absolutely recommend this product, however it is heavily fragranced and is more of a buildable medium coverage. On my skin it looks very natural and gives an overall hydrated appearance. Highly recommended for those on the light-medium olive skin tone spectrum.

I loved the dewy finish and how easy it was to apply. I was initially sceptical about the '25 hour lasting finish' claim however it exceeded all my expectations and I did not need to re-apply at all throughout the course of the day. The only downside is the foundation has quite a strong sent, almost like a sunscreen smell to it. However, this does fade pretty quickly after application.

I was a little wow at the fact it 25 hour last. I put it on in the morning, went on well, light weight and medium coverage it was able to cover all my redness, I also set the foundation with setting powder as I have combination skin. As the day goes on it started to become dry and and had crease around my smile lines, this was around the 5/6 hour mark. The rest of the face still remain intact and it is good for combination skin as my T zone was glowy, this made my skin look healthy. I really enjoyed using this on my face. I did not like the bottle it came in it was glass and heavy. Overall, this product does last a very long time good for people who work in the office or everyday foundation.

It applied easily with a damp sponge and covered up my imperfections without feeling heavy (as some other drugstore foundations can feel). The shade was slightly dark for me but bringing it down my neck and blending helped. If you have extremely fair skin i would recommend shade matching in person. It lasted well throughout the day where i noticed no major flaws. Overall, this foundation was a pleasant experience for a lower price point.

It's not normally something I would purchase as I tend to opt for a tinted moisturiser or light coverage foundation. However I found I could still get light to minimal coverage by using a small amount with a makeup sponge. I would reach for this foundation on the days when I want a more coverage. I have dry/combination skin and found this foundation had a beautiful dewy finish and didn't emphasise any dry patches, but still lasted well throughout the day. I probably wouldn't recommend this foundation to anyone with oily skin as they might find it too dewy. I would recommend this to anyone with dry skin that likes a dewy, buildable finish. It's also super affordable so great for anyone on a budget!

It comes in a glass bottle and the foundation is easy to dispense. I applied it with my makeup sponge and I didn't need to use much of it to get good coverage. You could always add more should you want full coverage. It doesn't look caked on and it feels lightweight on my skin. The foundation is hydrating, as it contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, and it doesn't dry out my skin. I also like that it contains SPF! After several hours or so the foundation does start to slightly fade so I would have to reapply. Overall it's a good foundation for anyone wanting medium to full coverage!

The foundation is moisturising and very light weight. I hardly felt like I was wearing any foundation at all! It is perfect for anyone with dry patch concerns as well as pores or wrinkles. It also has nice coverage for something so light and affordable. It also did not break me out. I put it on early in the morning and wore it throughout the day. When I got back home in the evening, the coverage had not faded! The only downside is that all the tones tend to be slightly more pink-based. If you are looking for anything that is more neutral or yellow, I recommend going for the lighter shades.

It didn’t accentuate any dry patches and looked flawless and well blended. It had great longevity’s as it lasted me from 6:00 to 9:00 at night before it started to get oily on me ! my highlighter and blush was still visable by the end of the night. Id use this again ! But i still don’t love it as much as my current holy grail foundation but definitely one id reach for again !

At 6 hours my combo skin starts to shine a bit but powdering helps. I consider it an economical dupe for Liquid Touch and BarePro. Will buy again!

I didn't fully realise I'd bought something different (the new hydration boost) until I saw photos of my skin with the new formula and instead of skin that was previously glowing and flawless looking (I have very oily and blemished mature skin) I now have a greasy and flat-toned complexion and have to apply endless amounts of translucent powder to try and blot the oil which has also aggravated my rosacea (my inbuilt camera selfie filter doesn't even know how to adjust to it so I end up either overblurred or cakey looking). Seems to be the story of my life that most things that I absolutely loved ends up discontinued or changed and takes me forever to find (if any) a comparable alternative

Medium coverage, good consistency to use with a beauty blender. Would not recommend for people with oily-skin as it doesn't stay matte, I haven't worn it for 25 hours so I do not know how well the product will last effectively.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An okay foundation but not my favourite [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this foundation as part of the review crew and I'd have to say it isn't my favourite foundation that Rimmel has made but it isn't terrible. It gave me quite okay coverage and didn't feel bad or cakey but I have fairly acne prone skin so large bumps and pimples didn't look too nice under this foundation. It also didn't make my acne worse which was rather nice as some foundations tend to make me breakout more.

The foundation lasted all day but i did notice it oxdised. It won't be a my new go to but i love having a reliable drugstore foundation for when my skin is in between summer and winter!
