I have been asked several times over the years how do I get my lipstick to stay on whilst eating. So I simply show them the product. Cannot rave enough about the range of colours either, I have 6 different shades.

I have been using them for years. They are moisturising, very easy to apply and do exactly what they promise, and that's stay on my lips. This velvety soft formula with moisturising shea butter and aloe feels beautiful on my lips. I only have to apply once and I'm good to go. I simply apply my favourite shade of Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede lippy. This lipstick can be can be worn with or without a lip liner its totally up to you. The Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede lipsticks come in a variety of colours and if you haven't tried them already, I highly recommend you do.

I absolutely love it and honestly rarely wear anything else, I have it in a wide range of colours, from pinks, though plums and naturally Revlon Red and its variants. Occasionally I Lash out and get something different and last shimmer was sporting a lovely peach for a change, The staying power of this lipstick is second to none. I generally put it on in the morning.... And that's it. I can get through a busy work day on one coat of lipstick. It's extraordinary! Of course, I always carry my lipstick with me just in case, but rarely need to touch it up. The only time I might reapply is when I have eaten something oily. I find that is the one thing that can lessen its lifespan. It's true that it is quite a dryish lipstick, so if you like well moisturised lips then it may not be for you. I personally have become quite used to this and it really doesn't bother me. You may think because it is quite dryish that you will suffer during winter with dry lips, I have also not found this to be a problem as it seems having that lipstick later is enough to keep the winter nasties at bay, at least for me. I cannot recommend this lipstick highly enough. The colours are beautiful and rich and there is plenty of them to choose from. Love the staying power. Am yet to find a lipstick that equals it. Easy to remove with a cleanser especially for long wearing make-up. Love, love, love it.

Not only does it last the distance, it has amazing colour, is reasonably priced and keeps my lips hydrated! I find that this lippie lasts for hours and hours and will also last after eating and drinking. It comes in a modern package and it also an awesome matte colour. The colour range in this product is also awesome. I have a number of different shades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favourite long-wearing lipsticks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this lipstick years ago as one of my first when I began exploring beyond the world of lip glosses, and it has remained one of my favourites. The shade Backstage is still my go-to vampy winter shade, it's a perfect balance between dark red / berry without pushing me outside my comfort zone. The stick is skinnier than a traditional lipstick shape, which I think makes it easier to apply, particularly when using a dark or bright shade. I also have it in a few other shades, and they all wear beautifully, even when eating and drinking. There is the need to re-apply after a few hours, but for a lipstick I'm perfectly happy with that.

I bought it in red and found it to be easy to wear, it stays out but isn't too matte. Most other long lasting lipsticks I've tried have been very matte and dry looking but this one still goes on smoothly and has a nice sheen to it. It feels nice to put on and doesn't leave a sticky or cakey feeling. I seriously only apply it once and it stays all night, even when eating and drinking! One annoying thing is that I actually find it hard to get off and usually still have some left on in the morning. But that is a small price to pay and worth it for all night colour (and nothing a bit of makeup remover can't fix!!) I now also bought a nice pink one too!

After buying the first (trendsetter) the addiction had begun! Trendsetter and Muse are my favourite bright shades (it also comes in many more natural shades.) Glides on well, long-lasting (over 12 hours) and survives everyday wear including eating and drinking. This lipstick not only provides colour it also prevents the lips from become dried out and leaves them looking plump and moist. On top of all these perks it is also a cinch to remove. A must buy for everyone!

Often I will put on before I go to work and will only have to reapply at 3-4 pm. I love the shade backstage, it's a great red that matches my pale skin tone (I can't wear reds with an orange hue). Having read some of the other reviews, I would tend to agree it can be drying, but I do apply lip balm in between wears and at night so it's not a problem for me. I have used up three lipsticks in this shade already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What they claim: a one-step, ultra comfortable lipstick that provides all day colour, giving lips a velvety, suede finish that looks AND feels good! So ladies, you can look gorgeous without sacrificing comfort. Expect more from your lipstick with ColorStay Ultimate Suede™ Lipstick. Immediate thoughts on viewing the product: Typical Revlon packaging, nothing too thrilling here. But it's easy to see what colour I've gone for and it's easy to reference (for those out there, I've selected 030 High Heels). It has a very secure plastic cap and it clicks audibly when you turn the base so it's easy to tell when you're moving the product along to apply it. It also winds down easily too. Pretty mechanical which I actually like. My take on application: Wow, this really is suede-like. It really glides on! Super smooth, it's not sticky. It's not a thick, high intensity colour for this kind of pink but it's build-able so I can get that really powerful high impact colour if I want it (and occasionally I do). I was not expecting it to feel so light on my lips!!! It also blends really well with lipliner to make for an even brighter colour! I've been wearing it all day today and it's lasted really well, through breakfast, coffee, drinking water, lunch, and a lot of conversation. Just a little caking. I am so impressed! No touch ups!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glosscars 2014 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Revlon repeatably do excellent lip products and I was eager to try this one out as I am yet to find a long wearing lipstick I would travel to the ends of the earth for. This is the closest I have got so far to one I love. The packaging is very smart. The tube is the colour of the product with a clear coating and lid. The packaging colouring is generally true to the colour of the product. The lipstick comes in a twist tube very similar to a lip balm. The twist clicks at the first few turns which to begin I hated but it began to grow on me. The clicks tell you when you are closest to closing it. The formula goes on with a smooth and satiny finish like a balm and dries to a matte, long lasting finish. Like most long wearing lipsticks it feels dry to the touch but I didn't find it drying. If my lips were already dry then I found the colour to become flaky around the edges of my lips but with healthy lips I had no problems. The colours have a slight shimmer in them but are not super opaque. This is good as you can build up the colour as you desire but too much product can also become flaky around the lip line after long wear. I found the formula to be long lasting. It was definitely waterproof but after a lot of eating it would start to wear a bit. Even after wearing it would still leave a stain on the lips, which if it did wear evenly still looked nice. I have three colours, Finale, It Girl and Backstage. Finale is a wearable red with a blue base but I think would suit most skin colours. It girl is a lovely pink, a pretty flush of colour that could be built up to a brighter pink if wanted. Backstage I bought on impulse after seeing Olivia Wilde wear it in the promotional material. It is a gorgeous plum colour that is a good introduction for those who are tentative about trying such a strong look. I like these lipsticks, the best long wearing lipsticks that I have. Honestly I prefer a more moisturising lipstick that I may have to repeatedly touch up but for long events where I won't get the chance these are my go to lip products.

It is very creamy and almost waxy making it very long lasting as its name suggests. I used this for special occasions as the colour payoff is amazing which is ideal for photos. It is by far the best lipstick with the consistency of a lipbalm and lasting power of a lipstain. Definitely going to repurchase.

My shade 95 is a beautiful easy wearing every day red - truly it goes with everything! Everygirl needs to have a red lippie in their makeup bag! Revlon ColorStay is true to it's name and provides a long wearing lip stain! I especially love the way it feels - not at all drying, it make my lips feel like I have just applied a lip balm! I'm definitely going out to buy some more colors in this range - maybe a pink and a coral!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy to trial this lippy thanks beautyheaven!! i was pleasantly surprised by this lippy. I havent used a long lasting lipstick in years but after trialling this I would keep using this lippy. I got 'high heels' which is a hot pink and although its not a very versatile colour it looks nice with my newly dyed choc brown hair!! The tube is very slick n not bulky and i absolutely love the texture of lippy itself, it stays put for ages and is completely non drying!! I dont use lipstick as such every day but for a special occasion this would be one id use for its brilliant moisture and staying power! :)

I have used a lot of colour stay lipsticks in the past and felt like I was putting toxic paint that was going to crack on my lips. The product comes in a very cute lipstick. With a clear lid. It is easy to apply simply twist the stick up and apply. It is very long lasting i can wear it the entire day without it fading. I really loved this product as it was moistorising aswell and didnt come off when I drank a cup of coffee. I didnt notice any scent at all. I recommend this product to everyone and a little shocked that it didnt get higher reviews.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lipstick didn't budge for most of the day [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am going to start by saying that i am a little bit in love with the Revlon ColourStay Ultimate suede lipstick as it just doesn't budge. The first time I trialed it, I put it on just after breakfast, I then brushed my teeth, ate and drank all day and 8 hours later it had barely budged. The lipstick feels a little dry when you first apply it - it doesn't glide effortlessly over your lips - you need to work it in a little bit. When you apply it, it dries within a minute. Once it has dried, or set, it feels completely weightless on your lips. I literally could not feel that I was wearing any lipstick - to the extent that each time I went to the bathroom i got a shock to see myself looking back at in the mirror with bright pink lips. And, as mentioned above, once set it just doesn't budge (so make sure you remove it quickly if you have gone out of your lipline otherwise it will stay there). The colour I trialed was 095 finale which is a bright reddy pink . At first i thought that it was a tad out there but i actually got a couple of compliments whilst wearing it. My lips are normal - not dry or flakey and this lipstick was perfect for me. I will definitely be purchasing this in other colours. I loved that you could apply it then forget about it for the rest of the day

It is so simple and very unlike Revlon. However, surprisingly the clear cap (I always dislike clear cap) actually works well it secure on the black base tube very tight. It clicks on well, wondered how long that last. It did last until the last time I saw it. It doesn't have any fragrance, glide on my hand well. It feels soft and light and shines under the light for look. I got natural colour, not a colour I would wear. So I was being clever and try it with other pink lipstick and was I wrong. It didn't work, the Revlon lippie cracked. I tried it over any under, neither worked. So I thought I'd better just use this colour. I did just before I went to work one day, had breakfast (up&go), lippie stayed on my lip not on the straw. I had my lunch (chicken&vegie soup), lippie still on me. However, I did need to touch up on the corners of my lips. When I got home, hubby actually asked me where I was going because my lippie was still on. Nicely don, Revlon! I tried another 5 days with similar result, even when I was eating big and chewy foods. The lip was great that my girlfriend borrow from me for few days. I then went and bought the “front row” colour, it more the colour I like. This time I tried with lip balm, I found if I use this under the actual lippie makes the colour stays longer. I only need to apply once a day. Of course it can depend on what food you eat and drink. My friend did give it back to me last week, only it only had 1/3 left. She bought one for her and another replacement of my colour for me too. It is abit expensive. Maybe I should have wait when they ahve discount at the pharmacy and or stores.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to BH & Revlon for the opportunity to trial these new lipsticks! :) I was given the colours Finale & Backstage - both very different colours but also very wearable. Finale is you classic everyday red lipstick shade that I found to be actually very moisturising on my lips and didn't leave them feeling dry or flaky at all. Backstage is a beautiful deep purplely wine colour that has tiny flecks of gold throughout it. I also found this particular colour to be a great everyday shade to wear as it is a little more understated than the Finale whilst still looking bold & amazing! This shade would also transfer into a great night time shade as well. The packaging of these are quite simple & very easy to use. The clear lids come off easily & when you twist the bottom half of the lipstick it clicks and pushes the lipstick out of the tube ready to use. The actual shape of the lipstick is just the right size to perfectly apply to my lips for a nice, neat application. There is pretty much no smell to these unless you really get close and have a good sniff. lol But it is nothing fragrant, just a plain smell. As far as storing these lipsticks, I have found they are a nice skinny size to fit into most acrylic lipstick storage stands. Overall I really loves these lipsticks, I found them to be very long lasting with only needing to touch up with gloss throughout the day, after eating or drinking. They are quite pigmented colours & I am looking forward to buying other colours in the range to add to my collection. :) 5/5 Stars!

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in the shade #035 Backstage is a beautiful vibrant berry red which is suitable for all skin tones and perfect for wear during the day and night. This shade is currently one of my favourite shades! The lipstick winds up and down with the sound of a click and the shade of the lipstick matches the exterior packaging. The lipstick tip is round yet slanted and I found that the best method of application is to dab the lipstick onto the lips and use a lip brush to even out the colour. The formula looks a little blotchy on my lips after one coat, however re-applying with a lip brush helps to even out the colour. My lips feel very comfortable as the formula is lightweight and does not pack on the lips in surplus. The shade Backstage looks absolutely stunning on my lips! The formula does not give a dull nor dry finish, instead it appears to be somewhat matte to give a 'suede' finish. In addition, I also noticed minuscule silver specs which give the illusion of fresh and slightly shiny lips. From a distance the silver specs are un-noticed. The suede-like finish of Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick really is unique with such a beautiful touch of vibrancy to the lips! The longevity of Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick is excellent as the formula 'sets' after about 20mins and only starts to fade slowly as the day progresses. Drinking from my coffee mug and eating lunch also accelerates the fading process, however, my lips still appears to retain a soft berry red shade. All-in-all I'm impressed with Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick and especially satisfied with the wearable and vibrant berry shade in Backstage. The formula is hands down long wearing by giving my lips a beautiful stained appearance and that also means that my lips have been looking great from the start to end of the day! Say goodbye to lipstick re-applications during the day!

I immediately liked the design because the lid is clear, so you can see the colour. It was interesting that this was not contained within an outer box packaging. I didn't detect a fragrance, and the application is a very easy click-twist method. It looks creamy with tiny bits of glitter. It glides on and feels very velvety - easy to apply whilst driving (oops!). It gives a noticeable result immediately. After application it will literally last several hours. I did a touch-up after lunch and this would get me through the rest of the day. I found that whilst the colour lasts for a while, the shimmer does not. I found this a great product that delivers what it promises, and doesn't distract with glamorous packaging.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I used this lipstick I used this lipstick it is nice it won't let lips to dry it keep moisture in place packaging is good if we eat or drink anything it fade away from corners .it won't last for long time. I will not buy this again want to try other lipstick from this brands in future
