General Information

Our antioxidant rich, Signature Purifying Facial Masque is made from a base of Bentonite and Red Reef Australian Kaolin Clays. The Betonite has excellent absorbing abilities to gently remove excess oils and impurities, whilst the kaolin blend mildly exfoliates and softens the skin. Soothing Aloe Vera, Rosehip and Jojoba Oils help to hydrate the face while the masque dries, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and purified once removed! TIP: A tingling sensation may be felt on application of this product. This is the clay drawing on the pores and is completely normal. Follow with a Facial Serum or Oil and feel your skin absorb the goodness!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Facial Mask This Kaolin clay based mask is really great, it helps draw out congestion and if I have some breakouts forming, I find post use they appear calmer and less obvious. The formulation also features aloe Vera and rosehip oil, leaving skin feeling smooth and soft. This formula really is suitable for all skin types. I did notice a slight tingle if I have a breakout or two, however it's never caused any irritations. What makes this mask even better is what is not on the ingredients list, no parabens, sls, no animal derivatives etc it's also natural Australian company. Great price point and you get so many uses out of it.

While wearing it, it gives a cooling and soothing sensation to the skin. It's full of incredibly nourishing ingredients and I just love knowing that they are doing good to my skin. After about 10-15 mins I wash it off with warm water and some gentle massaging. My skin always feels baby smooth after! It helps in keeping my skin clear and reduces redness. I use it once a week and always look forward to using it.

This mask helps with reducing redness and minimising old pimple marks. It is hydrating and nourishing. I love the ingredients and it feels soothing on the skin. The smell is also comforting. I use in conjunction with the facial moisturiser which keeps me nourished. I use the mask once a week and it leaves me feeling rejuvenated.

It is really well-formulated as a purifying masque that is also very moisturising due to added oils and I adore it. Unlike other clay masks it doesn't dry hard on the face but remains quite moist which is more comfortable. But don't let that fool you, it does its job very well! It cleans and rids of impurities in the skin especially around the nose area - I'm left with clean skin that doesn't feel dried out. It has helped clear up some pimples on my face and is wonderful in winter as it accommodates my dry patches as well. A true life-saver that is both inexpensive and feels luxurious, it smells pleasantly of a fresh, coca cola-like sense and I highly recommend it for all skin types.

It has a nice texture and is very easy to apply. Once applied, this product feels cooling and soothing on my skin. After use my skin feels thoroughly cleaned and very refreshed. This is a reasonably affordable face mask which is a bonus. I love the Sukin skincare range as they use natural and organic ingredients.

It features a purifying base of gentle kaolin clay, which i know is great for drawing out impurities and oil. This combined with soothing aloe vera and antioxidant-rich rosehip oil works really well to nurture and refresh my skin. I am in love with this mask, it's so easy to use and makes my skin bright, fresh, clean and healthier looking. I definitely think those with other skin types can also use this product. I highly recommend it :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving this beauty! One of my favourite masks! It's VERY moisturising for a clay mask, doesn't dry to a plaster on your face but is still very rich and creamy. It hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling so very plump, soft and clean. I believe the oils in it are also helping my blemished skin and restoring the natural balance after a long, tiring day. I use it around once a week if I remember and it's a lovely experience, it comes off easily with a wet face-cloth and it feels and smells great on! Highly recommended and it's so affordable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing mask for combination skin The clay mask is a deeply cleansing and nourishing mask which I enjoy using.<br />It comes in a round container and you only need small bits- probably 15 mls to cover your face. I found I need to apply it quite quickly- but its easy to apply and spread before it dries too quickly. On application to the skin the pinky clay mask starts to dry hard and turn a darker shade of pink- almost red. The clay mask dries very hard onto your skin and it takes around 15 minutes to fully dry. As the mask is a clay mask to remove I found I need quite alot of warm water and a flannel to throughly remove the mask and all the bits.<br />Post using this mask I really felt that my skin felt so clean and deeply cleansed. Post use, my skin was throughly cleansed and it looked radiant.<br />My skin also feels quite soft and smooth post use- which is great for a deeply cleansing mask. It removes all the imputies and blemishes- decreases these and helps to rid my skin of these. The aloe vera and rose hip oil help to really nuture and refresh the skin.<br />After use my skin can look abit red but this does fade and I have to admit my skin looks a little more radiant- which is the point of masks in my opionin.<br />I really like this mask- its one of the best masks Ive used for combination skin. My combination skin is given a nice fresh deep down clean, but it also leaves my skin soft and smooth, while providing hydrating ingredients.<br />Personally I like this mask for me- Its a good balance of cleansing yet hydrating ingredients that gives my skin a fresh smooth radiant glow.

I use this once a week (on the weekend when I have time!) and it really does the job scaring my boyfriend away and deep cleaning my skin! Affordable price, unoffensive scent and it really doesn't overly dry your skin out like some other masks I've used. Seriously this product is awesome, I won't EVER use another chemical laden mask again!!

The colour is lovely, however for the 15 minute that i have it on i really look terrible. haha its not very attractive on my super pale skin. I find that it helps with any redness and makes my skin feel lovely. It is probably my favourite mask and sukin product. I thought the sukin products where wonderful, untill i started getting small breakout on my face.

I feel like its evened out my skin tone a little more which is nice! The smell is amazing! like coke bottle lollies - YUMMY :) very very nice, use this 1-2 times a week. would recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great Sukin product I bought this as part of a Sukin 3 for 2 deal at Priceline several months ago and didn't get around to try this till recently. I have never used clay mask before so at first I wasn't sure what to expect. The masque clay itself is reddish taupe in colour, a bit slippery; it has a unique scent, almost like a plummy smell. I put this on after cleansing my face, and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes before washing off. The first time I washed it off I used a washcloth and found that the clay stained the washcloth a bit, but the stain faded over time. Now I just wash off in the shower. After washing off the clay my face feels moisturised and soft. I'm very impressed! I use the masque maybe once a fortnight, a little goes a long way. Will definitely repurchase when I (eventually) use this up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely mask This products is good for all skin types, I'm oily/combo and my Mum is dry/mature and we both use it and get great results. This mask softens and purifies the skin, I use it usually once a week sometimes twice when I remember and over time it fades small blemishes and evens out the skin tone. It's a really pure mask, it doesn't contain any nasty ingredients and seems to give me the happy medium that I want from a mask, it helps remove impurities but doesn't over dry the skin. I usually rinse this off and use pure witch hazel afterwards on my t zone to remove residue of the mask you can feel the oils on your skin after washing, that's only because I suffer from acne from time to time though, a person with drier skin could probably just rinse this off and moisturise as normal, it's so nourishing and I just love the pot size of the packaging, it's very convenient and travel friendly. One tip though use an old flannel or face mitt with this as the combination of the oils can stain fabrics a little. Love it! ;)

After using this product my skins looks clearer, more radiant and feels softer. I also think it has helped clear up some of my breakouts around my chin which is a winner for me! The Sukin Purifying Facial Masque is based on pink Kaolin Clay, an ingredient that is targeted at deep cleaning your skin. This mask also contains Rosehip Oil, vitamin E and Aloe Vera, to moisturize your skin and reduce the look of fine lines. This masque seriously does the job, and I find that the oils in it help nourish my skin to give me a nice soft complextion. I definitely am happy with the results. Another thing I LOVE is that all Sukin Products are free from all of the nasties (i.e. mineral oil, sulphates, parabens) and only contain organic ingredients. Plus Sukin products are carbon neutral AND Australian Made and owned. Overall Sukin products are awesome! I have collected quite a few of them lately (and will continue to do so) and I have been very amazed at just how great quality (and at how very affordable) they are.

It purifies the skin and helps with acne, without stripping it of it's natural oils. It leaves your skin feeling clean, smooth and glowy. I recommend this mask to anyone who wants to try a face mask that's more gentle on the skin while still doing what It's supposed to.

It doesn't dry out the skin, skin feels clear afterward, it doesn't aggravate acne and skin feels really 'happy' after use. It is a muddy pink colour which I wasn't expecting for some reason. It also smells nice. Really there is nothing I don't like about it.

The appearance of my skin looks so much better after applying this product. My skin tends to change from dry to oily throughout seasons of the year and I find this product is amazing for both as it does not dry the skin out or strip the skin of natural oils and it does not overload the skin when your skin is quite oily either.

It gave me moist and visibly plumped skin in minutes! Really love the product and it was very gentle to my sensitive skin. I have oily-combo skin, but this did not leave any pimples or irritation to the skin which is rare for the market. Only downfall is the scent, I much prefer if it was not scented in any way. Love the packaging and a great gift for when you don't know what to get.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cleanse & Smooth The consistency of the masque was surprising as it was very soft and thin in comparison to many other masques that I've used (they were of thicker consistency) Not much was needed to apply, as I only needed a very thin layer for it to work. After leaving it on for a few minutes, the masque dried, leaving a very smooth layer on top. After washing it off, my face feels heaps cleaner and smoother. Definitely a pamper product when you want your face to be extra clean.

It goes on nice and smooth onto damp skin. As the 15 minutes they recommend pass you can feel it firming up as it dries. I noticed that it did dry out my skin as I went to wash it off, but as I wiped it off with a wet cloth my skin felt refreshed and not the slightest bit dry. I did finish my skin off with moisturiser leaving my skin hydrated and soft. I wouldn't recommend this product to people with dry skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another great product from Sukin I was worried about trying a new mask but I thought it's Sukin and its natural so it cant be that bad right? This mask comes in a small flat cylinder with a screw top lid. When you unscrew the lid, there is a protective cap inside that covers the mask so it doesnt dry out or get messy. There is a tab that helps you lift the plastic lid quite easily. I was surprised to find a salmon coloured mask. It just looked like I had bought the wrong shade of foundation. I applied the mask by scooping it out with my fingers and it was very thin and lightly absorbed into the skin. There is a slight scent to the mask but not so overpowering. I normally leave the mask on for 15 minutes before rinsing off. When looking in the mirror I can see how dried out the mask is on my face but I dont feel it as much. It must be the rosehip oil that absorbed into my skin. Washing it off in lukewarm water is a breeze. My skin feels so brand new, soft, supple and the best thing about it is no irritations! I'm quite happy with this mask and would definitely recommend to those who are looking for a mask with natural ingredients!

Sukin makes great local products and this one is no exception...a fabulous mask - this is perfect for oily to combination skins and even normal to dry skins might find it a bit dehydrating. That said tho it lives up to the word 'purifying' and even the aloe vera and rosehip can't change the cleansing effect that clay has on one's skin! I really like this product, it's as good as other volcanic ones I like and its effects can be felt for a few days afterwards. But sure to use a reasonably rich moisturiser. afterwards. .

It really helps to dry out acne and leaves my skin so soft. When I think of applying a mask, this is the one I reach for every time now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for combination skin I enjoy using Sukin products - it's an Australian brand, always affordable, their formulas are all natural and very skin-friendly, This is a generous 100mls size for around $16. With around 10 uses per jar, it's also nice & easy on the purse. This face mask is perfect for combination skin like mine, and I was very happy to notice that I had no irritation in my t-zone (which does react to some face masks). It's applied to damp skin, and is a medium thickness, red/brown colour. There's a modest scent, that I could barely notice while it was on. I found it applied easily, felt very comfortable on, and to my delight also removed with ease - a very nice change from other purifying masks I've tried that are a challenge to remove properly. This removed so easily! It leaves my combination skin feeling smoother & less oily, and I'm finding regular use has been very beneficial. Highly recommended

This masque is mauve pink, it doesn't have the best smell but is tolerable just like some other natural skin care products. It seemed thick when first applied but when i put it on my fingers on placed it on my skin it melted and became smooth. After 10 minutes the masque had hardened. I left the mask on for about 30-40 minutes because i was too lazy to rinse it off. For me most clay masques make my skin feel very tight and makes my skin a bit dry but this one left my skin feeling slightly purified, clean and hydrated. For my pimples, especially the big and sore ones they shrunk a tiny bit but the masque calmed them so that they weren't as irritated. Overall, i really liked this masque, found it was quite effective and comfortable on the skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better suited for people with oilier skin I was on the lookout for a face mask and came across this one at Chemist Warehouse. I was convinced by the list of natural ingredients - Rose Hip Oil, Aloe Vera and Kaolin clay mainly. The mask has a reddish tint because of the clay and is easy to apply. I usually use fingers, but if you have the time and want to be all fancy schmancy, you can use a brush for application. The Kaolin Clay absorbs the oil in the skin and cleanses it from within. The instructions on the tub say to leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse off. The first time I used this mask, I left it on for longer than the recommended time - 30 minutes in total - and I didn't have any adverse reactions to it. The feature I like about this mask is that it doesn't set hard like a lot of the clay masks out in the market. I am still able to talk to people and make phone calls with this mask on. Once rinsed off, my skin feels very soft to the touch. In winter,my skin is very dry and dehydrated and the running heater doesn't help with my parched skin. I can see this product being very useful for people with oily skin to help control the shine. The instructions mention suitable for all skin types, but I didn't find too much of a difference to my dry skin. I will definitely continue to use it as we head into summer and I'm confident I will see a difference in my skin once the heat turns my skin into an oil slick.
