Rated 4 out of 5 by from Therafirm Thigh Stockings Good leg support. For me, the bands at the top of the stocking are slightly uncomfortable after wearing for longer periods of time but probably to be expected for this type of product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle but strong compression stockings I bought these stockings after my doctor advised me to wear compression stockings. I found the Therafirm stockings online at Chemist Warehouse, where they were on sale for a very reasonable price, so I purchased them. As soon as they arrived I put one one on (only one leg requires compression). I followed the diagrams on the package for donning the stocking and it was so easy to put on, I couldn’t believe I had managed it by myself, as a carer usually needs to help with putting things on my feet. I was able to comfortably wear the stocking for 12hours without any problems, and it stayed up without any trouble. The only fault I could find with it, was the lace top tends to roll itself into a tight band around the leg, so that after 12 hours I needed to remove the stocking to gain relief from the stricture. I feel that the lace top needs to be wider and the sticky inner layer should be a bit more sticky, in order for it not to roll. Overall, a very good product, which works as claimed on the pack, washes and dries really well, and is good value for money.
