General Information

Trilogy's most intense hydrating cream, this certified natural, lusciously thick wonder cream is ideal for dry, parched skin.

Common Uses

A moisture-recovery cream which easily absorbs to smooth and provide immediate relief and lasting comfort. Enriched with Rosapene™ (Trilogy's unique rosehip with super antioxidants complex) to help maintain skin integrity is also has evening primrose and coconut oils nourish and hydrate. Vitamin-rich New Zealand manuka honey softens, while a gentle lavender fragrance soothes the senses.  

Holds NATRUE Natural Cosmetic certification which also ensures no animal testing and no GMO.   

Vegetarian friendly.

Its non-greasy, melts into the skin (my skin drinks it up within seconds), it leaves no residual at all but it coats the skin with a protective veil of moisture. It is very comforting to my dry, sensitive skin. I love using this product before I go to bed, but it also makes an ideal base for makeup as it is easily absorbed and leaves skin nourished. I found this product to be like a big vitamin tablet for my skin, it will definitely be a winter favourite. Its is also very nice to use in conjunction with Trilogy's gorgeous cream cleanser. A definite favourite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life saving! I have had 'problem skin' to say the least for years. Continually flaking, and no amount of exfoliating (or not exfoliating) would help. In the winter I started getting very embarrassing red dry patches all over my face, and in desperation started using the trilogy cream. Within two days, the red patches had almost disappeared, and my skin is problem free! I find the cream very thick, and usually don't dry my face completely before applying it. It goes much further too :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trilogy to the Rescue! I LOVE this product. My skin has of recent weeks been very tempremental due to very cool dry windy weather and the heating I use to keep my house warm. Add to this my experimentation with vitamin C serums and exfoliating products and my skin got very ANGRY with me! It turned red, blotchy, bumpy and felt so tight that I was scared to smile for fear of cracking my face! In desperation to fix my 'skin sins' I went to my local pharmacy and checked out the Trilogy products. I purchased this little gem of a product and immediately went home and applied it. WOW - Instant RELIEF, the itchy burning tight feeling was instantly calmed. A few hours later my skin was less blotchy and starting to look normal again. A few days later and my skin is back to smooth, feels comfortable and moisturised and is back to a normal colour! The most amazing thing I found is that it is NOT greasy in the slightest and yet it manages to plump and hydrate perfectly. I could wear my make-up over this product and not have any slipage. On the contrary it helps my mineral makeup adhere better and more evenly. I would recommend this to anyone who has severly dehydrated/sensitive skin as it really works. It has a pleasant light floral smell that disappears very quickly so you are left with perfectly hydrated comfortable feeling skin. I am a Trilogy convert now and will be gradually replacing the rest of my skin care products with Trilogy.

I use this under my makeup and gives the lightweight texture, making it not greasy despite using my Tinted moisturiser on top of that. This is my first time using trilogy so i am very surprisingly pleased with the result It doesnt clog my pores and no acne or pimples that i usually get after using new products. Totally love it and the price is worth it with the results and fuss-free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too thick for my skin type but a nice cream This face cream might be a bit heavy for what I need. I know it does say ultra. I use sparingly alternating days. I’d say this would be great if you have intensely dry skin. The smell like all trilogy products is so nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product Packaging is great love the stainless steel looking lids but maybe they could reduce the cost by using a cheaper recyclable material. Find the moisturiser can be quite greasy for my oily skin but maybe ive applied too much. Been using this on and off for about a month now. Will use BH reviewers tip and warm with fingers first. Bought a few more Trilogy products tonight - reviews to follow. I use this moisturiser as well as others as i wouldnt say its my favourite. Its quite a thick cream but one thing i dont like about the Trilogy range is the odd smell of the products. Good they back their products with a satisfaction guarantee though especially as they are quite pricey but bought from Chemist Warehouse as they are cheaper than usual retail stores.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Moisturising without the slick I purchased this recently while on the hunt for a new moisturiser for my face. Trilogy is one of my top 3 companies for skincare, and I regularly use and love their cream cleanser. I love their philosophy of recyclable packaging, non-GMO, no animal cruelty and natural ingredients. Safe and gentle, for me and the universe. So I was curious to see what their face cream would be like. This comes in a generous 75 ml tube which lasts at least three months because only a small amount is needed for each application. The flip top lid dispenses the product easily as the cream is thick enough to hold its shape. The scent is predominantly lavender, with a mild rose hip in the background. Although it is noticeable when first applied, it fades quite quickly so it shouldn't clash with any perfume. The ingredients are safe, natural and nourishing, and include castor seed oil, honey, rose hip seed oil. evening primrose oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and aloe vera extract. Although the cream is reasonably thick it sinks into my skin quite easily and only leaves the slightest residue on the surface. This can be felt but not seen. My skin feels soft throughout the day (or night) after I have used this product. My face tends to get irritated if I use an incompatible cream on it. This one caused no problems. Overall, I found it to be a gentle and moisturising and suitable for both day or night in my current lifestyle.

The cream was perfect for winter as it kept my skin well hydrated and soft. As it has no SPF, I prefer using it at nights. Will definitely repurchase, this has been lovely to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nourishing and hydrating Trilogy's Ultra Hydrating Cream is a rich face cream that I find very nourishing particularly in the winter months. I would describe my skin as normal with some dry patches and my skin soaks this up beautifully. This thick cream smells devine much like many of trilogy's products. The tube packaging allows for control of the amount you squeeze out ensuring no product wastage and I only need a small amount to cover my face and neck. It has a floral herbal scent that sends me to a peaceful place! The cream hydrates my skin very well. I have only used this in the colder months and I think as the warmer weather comes in I may find this too heavy for day use however at the moment with the cold snap we have been experiencing this cream is perfect. Recently I've been using this over the top of Trilogy's RHO without any excess oil. As with most of Trilogy's products, my skin feels nourished. I often use quite heavy duty night exfoliating products and I always tend to pick up one (sometimes two) of my trilogy products to nurture my skin post exfoliating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely face cream, delicately scented, enriching and softening I love Trilogy products, they are so good for the skin and smell beautiful. This face cream feels quite thick and enriching, you can feel it moisturising and softening your skin. It has a delicate lavender fragrance which is subtle and soothing. This is a perfect face cream for dry and/or mature skin, and for winter protection. It does not contain SPF and is marketed as a recovery cream, so would be more suitable for nighttime use. It also contains Manuka Honey, which is renowned for its healing and humectant properties.

Not recommended for people who look for a cream with well absorbed. Probably I do not like to use products with greasy texture. Now, I am trying to just use at night time or even as facial mask when my skin is really dehydrated. I am a bit disappointed with this product.
