Directions

With the applicator brush, use lightest shades all over eye and up to brow bone to create a base. Sweep lid shade on eyes from lash line to crease. Use accent shade on outer corners to create drama. Contour eyes by applying deepest shade in crease.

I have several different sets and I usually use all of them which is unusual for me in an eyeshadow palette. I find that the pigments are good with the right tools (don't use the applicators that come with the product). The results are lasting with well prepped eyelids. The white colour isn't very good (no pigmentation) however the others are great. The colours have great pigmentation and are soft to apply if a little chalky. When using an eyeshadow primer these shadows last all day and all night however do not have staying power when used by themselves. I'm not sure I'd ever wear all the colours together however individually they are beautiful.

They come in a variety of beautiful mini little pallettes and there are so many shades. they apply well with minimal fall out and have good pigmentation. I also like how they are long lasting although they can crease and wear a little unevenly. i would reccomend prepping your eyelid well and then setting with a setting spray to ensure maximum wear

The colour ranges are great and the colour tends to last most of the day with only minor touch ups required. Would recommend using a primer before applying though as it does tend to last longer with it. Good value for money too as multiple colours in one palette. In comparison to other brands around the same price I have found Revlon to be better with eye shadow quality.

I really like how on the back of the packaging it gives you a diagram of an eyeshadow look that you can create. The colours are super pigmented and blendable. The only downside of this product is the price. I highly believe that if Maybelline has better eyeshadow quads!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a gorgeous little goodie bag from revlon when I bought a set of their brushes and included was a ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow Quad in #500 Addictive intoxiquant a blend of browns and nude and I Love it! Best applied on top of an eye primer the colours are lovely and smokey and provide depth to the eyes adding just a pop of colour perfect to wear during the day or for a casual night out. Easy to use and blends flawlessly. There's even instructions on how to apply on the base.

I have three of them, all in pretty neutral tones because that's just what I prefer, but the colour payoff on these are just incredible. The one thing I love most about these palettes is that there is a brilliant selection of matte shades. The thing with drugstore palettes is that it's incredibly difficult to find pigmented matte shades. Normally they're very chalky and just don't perform on the eye. However these are fantastic. They're super pigmented and they aren't chalky at all. There's no fallout so you don't have to worry about your foundation and the colour just lasts a lifetime on your eyes. Another thing I love is that the pans for the lighter colours are larger than those for the darker ones, especially because I tend to use them more often and therefore I run out of them faster. And the diagram at the back of the packaging is really great for those who are trying eyeshadows for the first time and are unsure of how to apply it. The only thing I dislike about this palette is that there is no mirror on the package. I know that's not a big deal, but when I leave the house in a hurry without my face on, I would like to apply my eyeshadow without having to pull out my phone or my compact. I also dislike the sponge applicator they provide, but I don't ever use them, so that's not a massive problem to me. Overall, I would highly recommend these palettes. I get some serious wear out of them and the colour selection is fantastic. You can really get every look you could ever dream of from these palettes. They're super long-lasting and I would recommend these to anyone.

I'm nominating this product for a Best in Beauty award for the following reasons: 1. It can be difficult finding quality matte eyeshadows unless you go to a high end brand. Revlon provides an affordable selection of matte shades. 2. While Revlon's eyeshadows don't have the exceptional quality of some high end brands, I think Revlon's quality surpasses eyeshadows from budget brands such as Australis, Rimmel, Covergirl and Maybelline. I've never complained about lack of pigment with the Revlon quads. Even if there is an occasional chalky shade, you can use it as a base and blend it with another eyeshadow. 3. The eyeshadows have decent longevity, even without a primer. 4. Revlon is generous with how many grams of each colour they provide. The compacts are sturdy. 5. Revlon's quads are easily available in stores, even regional cities.

That quad is great for creating every day looks. There is a 'how to' guide for one look on the back of the packaging, however, you can get more than one colour combination from the quad. The shadows apply and blend easily. They last all day without fading or creasing (however, I usually wear them over a MAC paint pot). The square packaging is sturdy and convenient. The clear panel at the front allows you to see the colours without having to open up the quad. A good value product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the eye shadow palette in '500 - Addictive' which is a mix of neutral browns. This is my go to eye shadow for my every day makeup, as the colours are extremely practical eg. the lighest shade is a flesh tone without shimmer which I use religously to stop my eye lids looking veiny or getting oily, the third darkest shade is perfect for contouring and the darkest shade I use everyday on my eyebrows, as its not too red. The colour pay off is okay, I have used other eye shadows which I would far prefer for a bolder look, but for a really easy natural looking eye shadow palette, this is my fave.

Although I love shimmery eyeshadows, not all of them are flattering on my crinkly eyelids. These are probably the eyeshadows that I use the most because I can use them on their own or mix them with shades from other brands. The texture of the eyeshadow is finely-milled and easy to blend. The lighter colours don't have a strong pigment, but they are enough as a base for other colours. As you'd expect, the darkest brown has the best pigmentation. I use the palest colours for blending in other colours to create a well-blended look. I have never tested Revlon's claim that these last sixteen hours, but wear time for me is good, even without a primer. I think these eyeshadows are value for money, even if they don't have the deep pigmentation like more expensive brands. They are better quality than eyeshadows from budget brands such as Maybelline, Rimmel etc. The compacts are sturdy and the lids are easy to open.

You can create a array of looks from the one compact. Most of the shadows are silky soft and pigmented. A couple of the shadows in some of the quads are chalky. Some of the colours are more pigmented than others. My favourite quad is 'Precious'. It's a mix of suede pink, silvery grey, deep wine and dark metallic grey. I often use my maybelline colour tattoo cream shadow in pomegranate punk in conjunction with this quad. Once these shadows are applied to the lids they don't budge.They stay on all day until removed at night. I find them perfect to wear to work as I don't have to worry about fading or creasing. I ensure I use a good white base underneath some of the lighter, neutral shades to make the colours pop more. The actual compacts are very sturdy. I really like the design of these quads, they look classy.

My favourite thing was the colours paired together in each pallette. It is very rare that I use all colours but I bought 2 of these and I can say that each colour is being used. Love love love the bigger size pans for your base colours. Also the guide on the back on where to use each colour is fantastic. I often have trouble working out which colour goes where but not with this pallette. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is the fact the colour definitely didn't last 16 hours and I had to build the colours up to get the depth of colour I wanted. Both factors I'm not too worried about and will definitely purchase more shades

I am a Mum who works from home so glam is not my scene and more natural tones suit. Being a Mum to 4, I found this product well within my price range and great quality. I find it lasts all day, but I am not sure about 16 hours! I do not tned to use this shadow though for going out or formal events

Love the colour choices and will definitely purchase againand again ...

Easy to use and a really nice choice of colour combos, erring on the fairly conservative side. Addictive and Siren are my favourites.

A really good piece for travelling and can easily be used for both daytime and nighttime looks.

This eye-shadow quad has a pale pink Highlight, shimmery taupe lid colour & both a warm chocolatey-brown and a darker, cool brown crease colours to contour with. Having worn this several times, I can say that it is a versatile palette which as far as I'm aware does live up to its claims of longevity. Also - each colour aside from the Taupe lid colour is matte, which makes for a lovely neutral look which can easily be worn in more conservative work environments.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some nice blues [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't usually gravitate towards Revlon eyeshadows but I picked up this quad a while back (in the one with two blue shades). They are both matte shades, one is a light periwrinkle blue and the other a deeper hue. It piqued my interest as they are colours I don't usually come across. Although the shadows are quite sheer and a little powdery, it makes up with unique colours. I love using the light blue in my inner corner or on the lid over a white base as a pop of colour.

I have the Seductive palette which is the purple shades. They don't apply very well using the brush but apply better using the supplied foam applicator. I don't find these shades blend very well compared to the PhotoReady eyeshadow, so I won't be purchasing this again. If you're after purple shades in the Revlon range, I recommend opting for the PhotoReady eyeshadow palette instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Suitable for low-key everyday look, very subtle colours [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been experimenting with the #500 Addictive palette and find that it is a suitable collection of colours for everyday use. I would not purchase again because unfortunately I didn't feel like the colour pay off was really worth it. Use without a primer is a definite no-no as hardly any colour would show up. I've tried using white eye-liner pencil as a neutraliser for the lid to maximize the overall colour pay-off, to no avail. I find that the darkest shade gives a slight bleary effect to the eye, as the colour does not appear rich enough. I am not please with the lightest shade in this palette as it does not appear to add any significant colour at all. There are some glitters in the shadow which isn't necessarily consistent with the other shades in the palette, which appear more matte. The glitter does little to flatter the eye. Personally, the shadow does not last me 8, let alone 16 hours. Overall I may occasionally use the darker shade for everyday use, as the other lighter colours are not substantial enough for me. I prefer Two Faced palettes as they generally offer a greater colour pay-off. Perhaps the more vibrant colour palettes are better in this particular collection in terms of colour pay off. I suppose that this palette is more forgiving due to its subtlety of colour.

I used the lighter colours (like the pink and light gold) for during the day and the dark ones (brown, purple) for at night. The colours are not that strong so you have to put a couple of coats on (I use my fingers as I find it more effective than using a brush). The colours do last for a couple of hours but after awhile it seems to fade. Overall I would say it's good but not great

I love the texture of the selection of shadows. The matte colors are beautiful. The shadow does not flake or powder off your lid upon application. I have to say that with a primed and prepared eye these shawdows didn't last 16 hours I would have had about 6 hour still looking ok, but by 8 hours was very creased and had moved. So I am not sure who it lasts on for 16 hours? I am too busy to reapply shadow throughout the day. Great size to take out in your handbag for touch ups, as for a night out I will need to re-apply. I use all the colours on the palette, sometimes I'll buy a palette and not use 1-2 colours, however with the brazen pallete these shadows are all perfect for me.
