General Information

HYLO-FORTE® eye drops provide preservative-free relief from severe or persistent dry eyes, delivered through the unique COMOD® multi-dose delivery system.

HYLO-FORTE® lubricating eye drops are for the intensive lubrication of eyes that are severely dry, irritated and tired from external factors; e.g. prolonged exposure to video screens and monitors, air conditioning, dust, pollution, smoke etc. They may also be recommended for use after surgical procedures on the eye.
HYLO-FORTE® eye drops are preservative and phosphate free, and deliver at least 300 sterile drops through the unique COMOD® multi-dose application system. They have a 6 month use-up period after opening, and are suitable for use with contact lenses.

Suitable For: Suitable for use with contact lenses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Verg good.Reservations re the dropper These eye drops were recommended for extreme dry- eye by an opthamologist in NZ.He said it was not the tear ducts that were blocked, it was the oil ducts. The result of using was very good without being excellent. The container is fairly clumsy to use close to an eye. The idea of putting a thumb under the dropper and pressing down on the bottle is not too bad, but no good if you have arthritis in the thumb or hand.

They hydrate really well & the bottle is consumer friendly. The only negative is their price, but I purchase multiple when they're on sale

But to apply it yourself if necessary makes it so wasteful. I got the knack after a few days but mis-aim at least once a day making it very expensive. HOWEVER it is more effective than any other drops I've used over many years.

I am required to apply it a few times a day due to chronic dry eyes. I wish that is also came in a regular application and the bottle is clear so you can see how much is left. Very expensive I would expect more for this price.
