On the 4th day of flashing smiley I retested with a normal ovulation test stick in the evening and got a positive. the next day these clearBlue advanced did give me the peak smiley but as I was also temping I knew the day after this peak I ovulated. So my peak fertile period was from that evening and then the next day NOT the 2 days after the solid smiley like the instructions say

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pricey and can get frustrating Ttc after a stillbirth so my hormones might be out of wack. Tried this opk in the hopes of tracking what my body is doing. The test seems to accurately pick up on oestrogen increases. The electronic device compares your hormones to your baseline that it reads the first time you use it, but the annoying thing is that once oestrogen is detected (flashing smiley) it will not stop displaying flashing smileys untill it picks up your LH surge, which means that even if your oestrogen has dropped it will still display high fertility every day. The $$ add up quickly and clear blue do not sell replacement test sticks without the reader. Some women will find this product frustrating after a while.
