[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to purchase another Revlon balm after great success with the Revlon matte stain balm (Sultry). I had read a lot of reviews and looked at a lot of swatches before deciding to purchase the colour Honey. Initially I had my doubts, as it looks a bit light when swatched, and I have medium-toned skin (Chinese background), however once I put it on my lips I was pleasantly surprised! Honey is the perfect colour for everyday use, and I like that it gives a hint of colour without being too dramatic. It feels really moisturising and so I feel like I can use it as a lip balm rather than considering it as a 'lipstick' product. The balm does not feel drying and it lasts a relatively long time (without eating/drinking), and it does not settle into fine lines in my lips either. It doesn't have as strong a mint sensation as the matte balms, but still feels quite moisturising. Definitely recommend this balm if you are looking to try the Revlon balms for the first time, or if you want to purchase another colour!

My daily makeup feels incomplete if I don't use this. Just one colour can give you many results depending on your application - it can range from a slight lip tint to a fully pigmented lipstick look. I love this product so much that I have gotten 4 different colours! My favourites would definitely be Sultry and Fierce. Although, I do wish they came up with more colours though to suit more skin tones.

Minty smell which is quite pleasant and I feel it helps to plump the lips up as well. A range of colours and it definitely stains! I find it lasts for about 3-4 hours and reapplication is needed. I found it exacerbated dry skin on lips so make sure you exfoliate before using the stain. One of the best I have used for the price and accessibility.

Very pigmented and buildable so you can wear it sheer or bold. Makes lips look fuller from minty flavour, scent and taste. Sometimes I can't stand the smell/feel, other times I love it. I would have preferred if it was fragrance free. Light, shiny formula that is opaque and doesn't emphasise dry lips or lip lines. It does stain the lips after it wears off 3-4 hours later (evenly) to a nice pink-purple colour.

I have Honey and it's an understated lip colour which can be worn everyday. I like the feeling as it is applied and it's smooth and moisturising. Very comfortable to wear. The longevity is pretty good, but not as good as a true stain but that's ok as its not as drying as those can be. I like the pencil tube but it gets blunt fast and makes it hard to draw your lip line neatly. Easy to carry in the handbag though. All in all, very nice! I would repurchase.

They are both moisturizing and pigmented. The crayon packaging makes it easy to apply however you have to be careful not to blunt the crayon when applying. The colour is pigmented but will need to be re-applied if you are drinking or eating. They are great for dry lips so I often find myself using it in the winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Moisturising Colour [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the scent is peppermint, and if you're very sensitive to smell, it does linger a little. I'm not fussed, so it's never been a problem for me. Secondly, it is so moisturising! When applying it on your lips it truly feels like a lipbalm and even when rubbing your lips together. Which comes to my third point, although it feels like a lipbalm, the pigmentation and appearance of it is very much like a matte lipstick.The longevity is normal in comparison to other matte lipsticks, transfers slightly, and does fade when eating anything oily. But the good thing about reapplication is that it's the same as when you first put it on aka it doesn't appear patchy or like you've obviously reapplied. Brownie points to you, Revlon!All in all, I highly recommend this range especially for girls with dry lips who need that extra moisture/stray away from dehydrating liquid lipsticks.

These Revlon Colourbursts are amazing. Their range of colours is beautiful and if you can't find a colour to suit, then you're not looking hard enough. The consistency is smooth and glossy and long wearing and the fact that it stains your lips means it will remain all day. And at a really reasonable price means you have to buy more than one.

This lip balm makes my lips feel soft and makes my lips look naturally healthy thanks to the light tint. I use the "Romantic" and I may be inclined in trying other shades as well. This is great to use everyday where you are just aiming for that fresh and natural look.

The colours are super bright, and last for hours on end. It's a very smooth application, and makes my lips soft. Only problem might be is that I would like a few more burgundy type colours, but apart from that, it's perfect! I wear a normal lip balm underneath just because I want to but it isn't necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great product to keep in your handbag! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given Lovesick, a bright fuschia pink colour, as a present by my mum. I was a little off put by the bright colour at first, but as soon as I tried it on I fell in love! Firstly, I was completely mistaken. Lovesick is an amazing colour and it really does stain your lips. You can change the intensity of the colour with how hard you press and so it can double as a lip balm or a proper lipstick/lip tint. The formula glides on easily on application and provides moisturises your lips. A big problem I have with lipsticks is that they tend to dry out my lips and this lip crayon definitely does not have that issue. It also is so simple to apply and it doesn't require a great amount of skill while still providing a nice, glossy finish. It creates a bright lip suitable for day or night. I love to use this colour when going out for brunch and heading out to town for the night. So, I would definitely recommend trying the ColorBurst range because I am obsessed. I've already bought another one and I'm planning to add to my collection!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lip crayon [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got Honey from this range a few weeks ago because I was after a natural lip stain that doesn't dry me out. I can't say I'm overly impressed with this product due to two reasons: - The colour is very versatile. Due to its sheerness, the colour depends greatly on your natural lip colour so you'll actually have to apply it to your lips to see what it looks like. I have a friend with naturally pale lips and she said this crayon washed her out. On the other side, I have very pigmented lips and after applying this, it didn't really show up at all and I could only see a hint of pink when looking really close at the mirror. - It's not very moisturising. I am not the type of person who reapplies my lipstick every few hours and while this does stain my lips for a whole day, it starts drying me out after 2-3 hours. My lips get very flaky if I don't wear a lip balm underneath but I think it should be fine for those who keep touching it up like a lip balm. Overall, it's still a nice product and I want to try other colours from this range in the future.

A good balm stain which gives the lips a nice, tingling feeling. It doesn't feel gooey like a lipgloss, and has a nice subtle colour without the intensity of a lipstick. What a nice balance between a lipgloss and lipstick :-) I love mine in 'Honey Douce', a nice, natural-looking rosy-pink colour. It really compliments my complexion (I have yellow undertones). And there are so many other colours to choose from too!

I find they do stay on quite a while, even with talking/eating/drinking. They are affordable and have a gorgeous shine to them. These lip products are easy to apply and go on nice and smooth so you don't have to waste time trying to get an even coverage.

These go on sheerish but with a decent payoff and for a moist-feeling gloss, they are suprisingly long-lasting. My favourite is the gold-flecked, almost rusty red of Adore and the deeper plum of Crush. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the peppermint fragrance which can be a little drying.

I was hoping for it to be little more berry coloured than it is - in reality it is pinker than i would have liked. However, it is very moisturising and it definitely does stain. I also like that you can get a variety of looks from it - use a little and it can be quite sheer or use a lot for deep color. The minty smell is fine by me, but the color does transfer a lot. I love the chubby crayon and it's very easy to apply evenly in one go. Recently I have been applying a lot, leaving it for around 10 minutes and then wiping it all off. What is left is a pretty natural looking stain which stays on for ages - with no transferring. I think this has become my preferred application for it, at least this shade anyway.

I love lip stains as they are so easy and last for several hours. Not this one though. Pros: Moisturising for dry lips - I have very dry lips Sheer colour for more casual look Cons: Lasts about half an hour! Worse than most lipsticks. Colour is not buildable. Ends up making a weird line of colour outside your lips. Won’t repurchase. I use the Savvy lip stains which are fantastic! Try those instead :)

The colour pigment isn't that great in my opinion and there are days where I really can not stand the minty smell, would rather just have no scent at all. Might give more colours a go but overall don't really reach too much for this product

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain- Matte Version [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previously reviewed the original version of the Revlon Colorburst Balm Stains, but seeing that I had recently tried the matte one, I wanted to share my thoughts. I have the shade "Showy" which is a pretty mid-tone Barbie pink shade. The packaging hasn't changed, the chubby pencil look that I really like remains. The matte version felt similar on the lips to the original, not drying at all and easy to apply being a pencil. I found it also has very good coverage. However, I didn't find that the longevity was the same. With the original balm stains, even after the initial lipstick had worn off, I was left with a hint of even colour. But, I didn't find the matte balm stain offered the same long lasting effect. In saying that, I am glad to have this beautiful shade in my collection..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not my favourite [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I began my quest looking for a good MLBB shade and transfer-proof lip products a couple weeks back, and this product in Honey sounds like it fits the bill. I haven't had the chance to go out and get it for a couple of weeks, and just got it yesterday. I tested it out, and it's not what I expected. The colour is a bit too dark to be a MLBB shade for me, and when the shine is gone, the stain left behind is a bright coral-y colour, and it's quite obvious I'm wearing lip colour. The shine is gone almost immediately after I eat, and if I don't eat, the stain left behind lasts for another 3-4 hours before it starts to fade. Otherwise it fades pretty quick, as I just put it on before I went out for dinner earlier, and by the time I got home 2 hours later, it was practically gone. I also read reviews saying you can apply it without looking at a mirror, and that's not true for me either. I missed a thin strip of my top lip, and because the stain left behind is quite bright, that bit is quite noticeable, so I have to be careful in applying it. Lastly, I noticed that it dries my lips a bit, which disappoints me because this is supposed to be a balm too, so I still need to apply another lip balm on top of it. It's a nice product at a reasonable price, but it's certainly not what I expected, especially considering all the raves I've read. It might just be me, but it certainly is quite a miss for me, so I probably will not repurchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just another lip crayon [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lip Crayons seem to be such a trend at the moment - and I think Revlon have really hit the mark with them. Saying this, I have this in Cherish, and I feel like the colour is so different when you put it on to how it dries - so much so that I wouldn't have bought it had I known I would be wearing the colour. Also, they seem to have made two different batches (same name, two different colours) Now with the bad aside, it has an amazing mint smell which is refreshing (and slightly tingly on my lips) and it has beautiful coverage. I love lip crayons, more than any other lip product, and if this one didn't dry a completely different colour, I would be 100% in love! Lasts forever and a day.
