It's perfect for extra coverage on top of any liquid foundation and sets the makeup perfectly. It is convenient to carry and easy for touchups. I have very oily skin and this powder ensures that my t zone stays matte which also makes my makeup last all day. The powder also compliments any Colourstay Liquid foundation, because it adds more colour and depth to the face. Would recommend to everyone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great compact powder, it makes your face look really matte but sometimes can come along as really cake. Though that can be fixed with a hydrating face mist. The best way to apply this foundation (in my opinion) is to press it on using the puff that comes with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This powder unlike the photoready pressed powder revlon also do, has really good coverage in my opinion though it didnt really control shine as much as i'd like. And the finish isnt as 'photoready'. Nevertheless, its still a really good compact powder and definatley triumphs amongst the many that are out there. I just use it depending on what i want to achieve from my powders that day!

She recently decided to send me her powder that she never used in colour 'deep' which is way too dark for me, so I don't really know what to say about this powder. I use it to contour my face and it does that perfectly. However it is too powdery for contour, as it is a powder obviously. I don't tend to throw away products that don't fit me as I hate to waste, so I found a little different use out of it. Packaging is pretty handy. I don't remember if it has a sponge applicator inside or not, I think I lost it or something. You get a round black plastic packaged powder with a 'button' which saves the powder from opening up in your purse. It also has mirror, which makes application really easy. It feels soft on your skin which I like. It has that velvety finish, and doesn't make you face caky. I personally use it as bronzer as mine is too dark. I thought it was matte, but I just have realised that it has little shimmer in it, which probably makes it really pretty on face. Covers really well. I remember I used this powder long time ago in a lighter shade without foundation and it gave me great coverage. It also doesn't make your skin oily or anything like that. Feels really light and soft. I don't really know if I recommend it or not, because I didn't really use it properly. I may actually buy myself a new one of those in lighter shade and see how it works. If I will, I will write a new review:)

It stops any shine on the skin but never cakey. Sets my foundation and will actually last the day. Love the packaging aswell because it has a mirror and sponge for easy checks and touchups (not that you need many!) Only thing is it can transfer onto clothes. Overall very good value and excellent quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i purchased this powder in hope to set my foundation to last through the night and that it did! i love the flawless look it gives when i apply it on top of liquid foundation and how that look actually lasts,and the medium shade blended well into my skin. Only negative is that i cant wear it alone on my skin, tends to dry out a little but overall, great!

I find this product looks thick and unnatural if applied with the applicator in the compact, but if applied lightly with a large brush works well. It does stay on well through the day, and gives a smooth finish.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit thick and heavy on the face [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from very oily skin and am always looking for a powder that will keep my oil at bay for longer. I read the reviews on this and was very keen to try, and also having started using Revlon Colorstay foundation (which I love) I thought this would go well hand-in-hand with the foundation. I bought the coloured variety in Light (not the translucent one). Well I have been quite disappointed. I’ve given this a go every day for 2 weeks, tried different ways of applying, and have come to the conclusion I actually get less oily using foundation only with no powder, than with using this powder! I’m shiny and oily within about 3 hours of using this with the foundation. I don’t have many powders that are worse than this! I usually need to touch up around the 5-6 hour mark. But this, 5-6 hours I am wanting to actually just wipe everything off my face. It does look beautiful when first applied and smooths and offers coverage and gives a beautiful finish. It does feel a little heavy. I tried a brush and beauty blender. I found a brush gives a more cakey effect despite not using much product at all. But once the oils start coming through, the caking just gets worse. I’m not sure if this powder works well with other foundations maybe. I will give it a go. But I found it doesn’t go at all with its matching colorstay foundation. Not a good combo for me.

I apply Revlon Colourstay first then set it over with this power. It gives that extra bit of coverage and doesn't give me a cakey finish.

It does stop shine very well even in warmer weather but a thin swipe is all that is needed. Too much can start to look cakey and sink into the creases on my skin.

With the colours, I find I either have to go darker or lighter, not my ideal shade. Once on, I found this product to be way too cakey when applied to the face, almost like a second layer of skin. Not nice. If you're into fuller coverage than this is for you. I did find that a brush did make it less cakey then using the sponge it came with but still too much for my liking

This powder looked unnatural and didn't blend very well and just sat on my skin making it blindingly obvious that I had powder on. I had to gently wipe some of it off to make it less obvious. I didnt end up using all of it, I ended up throwing the rest away and using another brand. Very disappointing product.
