Elucent Night Moisturiser is a luxurious regenerating night cream, with 8% AHAs the formula revitalises the skin's appearance and helps reduce the visible signs of ageing.

The key ingredients across the Elucent range, AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) are exfoliating and moisturising compounds. AHAs remove dry, dead skin through chemical exfoliation, helping to reveal visibly smoother and younger-looking skin. As more dead skin cells are shed, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is reduced. Complemented with scientifically selected vitamins, Elucent will help achieve younger, healthy looking skin.

AHAs may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Now, more than ever, it is essential to guard your youthful skin. Elucent Anti-Ageing Day Moisturiser contains an SPF 30 broad-spectrum sunscreen to help protect against UVA & UVB radiation while the AHAs continue to work on helping to improve the appearance of the skin. Protect your skin by avoiding prolonged sun exposure. Do not stay too long in the sun, even while using a sunscreen product. To further the reduce risk of sun damage or premature ageing, cover up with clothing, hats & eyewear.

Directions

It is important to begin slowly by introducing the lowest level of AHAs to the skin before moving to the higher levels. Apply moisturiser to the face and neck nightly after cleansing. Avoid contact with eyes and irritated skin. Mild and temporary tingling may occur.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Luxurious Night Cream The Elucent Anti Ageing Night Moisturiser comes in a stylish see through jar, with marsala/maroon highlights and a silver screw on lid. I’d be happy to leave this product out on display on my bathroom vanity even when visitors are present. I am a bit disappointed however that this product doesn’t come in a pump dispenser like some of the other products in this Elucent Anti Ageing range. I feel a pump dispenser would be more hygienic than a jar that you are re-dipping your fingers into. As a result I have been using a cosmetics spatula to access this product rather than my fingers. The product itself is a white luxurious, thickish consistency cream. It spread easily and absorbed into my skin, although it took longer to absorb into my skin than the day moisturiser. I’m wondering whether the use of the jar as opposed to a pump dispenser is due to the thicker consistency of this cream. This product contains 8% AHAs including 4% glycolic acid and 4% lactic acids. Although this is quite high I didn’t experience any tingling when using this product. I think my skin is used to AHAs. This product also contains a combination of vitamins B3, C and E aimed at helping to reduce wrinkles and improve skin tone and firmness. In the mornings after using this product I have found my skin to feel soft and smooth and also firmer. My fine lines look a bit softer and my skin tone also looks more even. Alas my wrinkles are still present but my skin looks more radiant and thus more youthful and healthier - yay! This is exactly what this 40+ year old needs! I am happy to continue using this night moisturiser and to repurchase it once this bottle is finished.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Potent, so just ease yourself into it! While I like the design of the jar for the night moisturiser, a pump bottle would be better. That said, this has a nice heft to it, and has that lovely silver and white combination with neat lettering, making it a rather minimalist looking container. You will find 8% AHAs and Vitamins B3, E and C in 50 g of product, and this cream has a medium to thick consistency that doesn't take long to be absorbed. This is meant to regenerate and hydrate and I have found my skin to tingle the most with this. This can be bought for $49.99. Overall, I have found this entire range to work really well on my skin. While I'm not battling any major ageing concerns, I have been keeping an eye on a few fine lines and freckles. I think that it has been quite helpful in hydrating and brightening the skin, and while it hasn't performed any crazy miracles, I do think that the range has been helping keep things at bay for me. The important thing to remember with this particular range is to ease yourself into it, and just to be very cautious for those who have sensitive skin. Keep in mind too that AHAs may also make your skin more sensitive to daylight, so it's a good thing they have something with SPF 30+ in the range!

I am pleased that I had been given this opportunity, as I previously had not heard of this brand.<br />I was happy to see that the Elucent range comes under the "umbrella" of well known and trusted Australian company Ego, so immediately I was expecting a lot from this range.<br />Elucent Night Moisturiser is formulated to rehydrate skin, whilst you sleep. It contains vitamins B3, C and E, both known for their anti ageing qualities. Also within this night moisturiser is the active component of AHAs, which have been proven to be effective at chemical exfoliation. There is a concentration of 8% AHA, omitting the need for a manual exfoliator, which I find is harsh on my skin, and if is massaged into the skin too firmly, can cause damage, especially so with thinner ageing skin. The moisturiser is designed for all skin types, however, it should be kept in mind that AHAs may cause sensitivity, tingling after use is a common reaction.<br />The moisturiser comes in a large 50g pot with screw top lid. Unfortunately, fingers are needed to scoop out needed product, making it less hygienic than say, a pump dispenser. However, a more hygienic method of extracting this product would be by using a small cosmetic spatula.<br />I only needed a small amount of the thick, rich moisturiser for my neck, and even less for my face. Any left over product I then massage into my hands. Although fragrance free, this white moisturiser has a natural aquatic scent. Probably the strongest smelling product of the range. However, I don't find it overpowering at all, and becomes unnoticeable after soaking into the skin.<br />It is always a concern of mine using a rich product, as having combination skin, there's always the possibility of thick creams breaking me out. I am happy to report that the moisturiser has not effected me in way of causing break outs.<br />Elucent Night Moisturiser does take some time to completely be absorbed by my skin. Being the last step in my routine before going to bed, this is not a concern of mine.<br />I wake up with soft, hydrated, tighter skin. I have a youthful glow, I can't get 8 hours sleep at night, but my skin sure looks like I have. This is a hero product for my neck area, which of late is an area that needs help in terms of hydration. The concentration of AHAs have not been a problem, not even tingling occurs. The moisturiser is gentle enough to use around my delicate eye area, giving it a boost of hydration.<br />The Night Moisturiser completes Elucent's active skincare regime. Perfect for anyone wanting a moisturiser that not only hydrates, but thanks to the vitamins and AHAs freshens skin and begins to turn back that dreaded clock.

I still bought it because of its simple yet powerful ingredients, and it s under the Ego anti-aging skin care line. I used this with the day cream every day and exfoiliated with QV facial polish every two day(under what Nat suggested). It did really well of what they claim in the first few weeks, but then my skin seemed to have immunity to it -- my skin slowly turned back to what it was. and I started to get pimples. pores around my nose also got more obvious -- it s too oily for me in the end. They tested the products on the group of women aged from 28 -- 40 (or 35? can't remember) and they also claim all of the products can be used for all skin types. But I still think they are better for dry and mature skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very thick [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser would have the thickest moisturiser I have ever used. To me it odly smells like a curry. I only need to use the smallest amount of this moisturiser because it's so thick and I warm it between my fingers before applying to kind of melt it down a bit. The consistency kind of reminds me of a tub of butter. It takes a little bit of time to absorb and if I touch my skin my fingers are all shiny. I've also noticed it makes my pillowcases a bit greasy. It does do a good job at hydrating my skin but it's just not right for me because it makes my skin look and feel too greasy. Not something I would recommend for combination skin. I can't use this nightly. It's something my skin can only tolerate once or twice a week.
