MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

General Information
Sleep by Remifemin" is a combination of three herbs of Valerian, Hops and Lemon Balm that have been used traditionally to help people who suffer from nervous restlessness (daytime) or insomnia/poor sleep quality (night time). It may help to:
Promote calm and restfulness
Support the onset of sleep and healthy sleep quality
Allow you to wake refreshed with no daytime sleepiness.

Ingredients
Each tablet contains extracts equivalent to dried:
Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) 412.5mg
Common Hops (Humulus lupulus) 138mg
Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) 225mg
Directions
Recommended dosage: Take 2 tablets half an hour to an hour before
going to bed. In extreme cases of sleeplessness (especially when
caused by anxiety) take 2 tablets 2-3 times per day.

Really worked!
My wife used to have terrible sleep. She'd still be awake at 3am and would be cranky and miserable the next day.
Thought I'd buy her these. They didn't do anything for 3 days, but on the 4th night she had a fabulous sleep. After a month she falls asleep in 4 minutes (yes really!) and sleeps soundly through the night.
Make sure you persist with them for the best results.

They Really Work For Me
I have been taking 2 of these tablets just before bed at night and they have been helping me sleep longer. I was always waking up around 3am and having a really hard time falling back asleep. Since I have been on these tablets I don't wake at 3am anymore, which is great! The only downfall is how expensive they are for a herbal supplement, but they work! I also have noticed that I don't have a headache the next day and feel really good, also I feel like I have had a longer sleep than normal. The 3 ingredients must be just the right combination :) Highly recommended!
