Directions

- Fold the lever spring up into the internal fork of the pliers
- Grip pliers firmly & proceed to cut nails with care
- Cut toenails straight across. Do not cut into corners of the nail as this may cause ingrown toenails
- Use an emery board or nail file to smooth nail tips, preventing sharp edges & snags

To avoid cracking or splitting the nails, soak feat in warm water to soften the nails before trimming.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Toe cutters! These chiropody pliers work quite well. they are sharp and cut easily and neatly. the folding side spring is a good feature that works well. The only minor criticism I have is that the handles could be 25mm longer. I don't have large hands but as a male I find the handles a little short. This does not affect the operation of the pliers, it is just a perception on my behalf.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing. To help my arthritic hands cope with toenail cutting I thought I would upgrade my old toe nail clippers with these chiropody pliers. I was very disappointed. I had a nice warm, 30 min bath to soften my toenails, but despite that, the pliers did not cut my big toe nails. It just seemed to mash sideways along the big toe nails. It seemed to work OK on the other nails, but its a bit pointless to have an implement which will only cut selected toenails! I resorted to using my new Manicure Fingernail clippers which worked brilliantly. Perhaps I will try buying the Manicure Toenail Clippers instead. I returned the pliers to the store and got a refund, thankfully as they were over $20 full price.
