General Information

Aquatabs Water Purification 50 Tablets

Size: 50 Tablets

KEY FEATURES

• Aquatabs makes water safe for drinking
• Each tablet treats 1 L of water
• Works in 30 minutes

Warnings

Causes serious eye irritation: Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing;
If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

CAUTION

Contact with combustible materials may cause fire, irritation to eyes and respiratory system.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Each tablets contains 3.5mg Troclosene Sodium

Directions

Add 1 tablet to 1 litre of clear water. Leave for 30 mins before use. Where there is sediment in the water, allow the water to settle or filter through a fine cloth. The filtered water is then treated.

1. 1 Litre of water.
2a. If clear, add 1 tablet.
2b. If dirty filter with cloth, add 2 tablets.
3. Mix well.
4. Wait 30 Minutes.
5. Safe to drink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A hiker's best friend and occassional lifesaver Aquatabs are super easy to use, incredibly potent for their size, and have literally saved my life when I've run out of water on a hiking trail and needed to rely on gathering water from stagnant rock pools. Some water purifiers leave a really nasty disinfectant taste in your mouth, but Aquatabs are very mild (you'll notice a minor taste difference, but it's not extreme at all). Given they also weigh virtually nothing, it's easy to pack a supply to last several days without needing to worry about the additional grams you're adding to a hiking pack. I also keep them at home for the rare occasions that we get notes about needing to treat the municipal water supply, and the peace of mind is worth the low price alone.
