Tried couple of it over few days, it does last longer than normal ones, although I don’t think it is waterproof because it does go off on the second day. But I am happy with how long it last.

The pad soaks up anything that is coming from the wound as long as it isn't too heavy and the sticky plaster sticks well and holds well. Will seep through the plaster if wound continues to bleed.
