Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like the jar one So this is like the other jar carmex lip balm, except in a little tube which makes application a lot easier. It works well in protecting my dry and cracked lips against the elements while repairing the damage done. There's less potential of bacterial growth in the tube, and you also don't have to use your fingers to apply. If i use it as a night lip balm, I wake up with really supple and moisturised lips. It's also affordable and doesn't really have a scent so it's a pretty good lip balm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best go to lip balm This little lip balm tube has been my go to for several years now. Easy to carry around even in the smallest bag and it's such great value for money. Nothing soothes my dry lips like the Carmex lip balm. It's rather thick in texture which means it won't just slide off after a short time. If my lips are quite dry I will apply a thin layer before lipstick, giving my lips a beautiful healthy, moisturised look. It can also be applied over lipstick, giving it a slightly glossy look. It may feel a touch stingy the first few times, but I don't mind that feeling at all. I truly don't go anywhere without it.

A couple of years back I developed what I think was an allergy to a certain lipstick and I couldn't wear lipstick for months. My lips were constantly swollen, cracked and incredibly sore. I asked a coworker what I should use (I work in a pharmacy) and she suggested Carmex. I used it non stop until my lips felt better and it has definitely healed my lips. I can finally use lipstick again without getting swollen, sore lips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Stands the test of time Carmex is my absolute favourite lip balm. Years ago when I was taking Accutane, it was the ONLY solution for my peeling/dry/sore/bleeding lips. It only ever used to come in a pot which was a bit unsanitary for a lip balm, so whenever I visited the US I would stock up on the tube. Now we can get the tubes here! I love how convenient it is to use and you can just throw on in your bag, in your car, in your bathroom...wherever! Carmex has a nice soothing feeling immediately on your lips and a bit of a medicinal smell which I don't mind. I don't know what magic ingredient it has, but it really works and is the ONLY thing that works when you have a bad lip situation going on. You can even get the tinted varieties now (which I also have) and I used to make my own tints too. Great product.

I’m normally a blistex girl but the supermarket I went to only had this in stock. Firstly, very handy little tube. I hate lip balm sticks but this is easy to apply without the hard wax feel. The results were amazing. Initially like any balm it felt amazing when first applied, but my lips were almost fully healed the next morning. I now have 2 of these and one lives in my handbag and the other on my bedside table.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the feeling, love the brand Carmex is always my hero for lip products, no more pawpaw and other products that did not five enough moisture, I find this is the one that lasts for me much longer than other brands. I lived out in the desert for a year and this product was the ONLY one that worked against the tough climate. I love the packaging, you can take it virtually everywhere and with such ease. I LOVE this product a lot more than the tub version they have just because I find it much more hygienic and faster and easier because you don't have to fiddle too much with it and you can apply to your finger quickly or directly to your lips if you prefer. I love the tingly sensation this has on the lips and it is only a slight sensation, I find it smells not like much, just a simple unscented blend that I prefer. For great natural lips this is always my buy. I have repurchased this item no shorter than 10 times. I will buy this again and again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bye bye cracked lips This is my go to lip healer in winter. My lips get super dry and cracked and this lip balm hands down fixes it it minutes. The easy packaging means it goes on flawless and I'm not digging my nails into a tub. A little goes a long way so the tube last forever. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't effect me at all. The smell and taste aren't the best but you get use to it after a few applications. I keep one in my car, bag and desk so I'm never without it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from an old but a goody I will always use my carmex lip balm. I love the squeeze tube packaging, it's afforable, and it works. The balm is a thick texture, similar to paw paw, and it isn't like a glossy, oily looking balm. I love the menthol in it, as it gives a tingly feeling for your lips, that I love! It does have petrolatum/petroleum, which some people say isn't moisturing and instead just leaves a layer of barrier over your lips instead of nourishing them, Carmex does nourish my lips as it has other ingredients such as cocoa butter that is very moisturising. My lips stay hydrated for ages and I love how the lip balm isn't sticky or too glossy. Also, it smells great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from better than papaw ointment i love this lip balm so much, i’ve never purchased it just bc lip balm isn’t my kind of thing to buy but ALL of my friends at school use this and i also steal it off them!!<br />the applicator is like a little ball and it squirts out a lil hole in the middle while feels so nice to apply and is so easy.<br />it gives you that tingly feeling which you know is hydrating and recovering your lips. it also doesn’t make your lips feel like a desert once it’s worn off!! it leaves them sooo soft

I've tried many balms from all different brands but I have to say this is the best so far. It keeps my lips feeling moisturised for a long time, so I've found o don't have to apply it as often as others. It does have a tingly, cool 'menthol' kind of feel when you apply it, but it doesn't bother me like it might for some people. So it's something to be aware of if you don't like that kind of feeling. Other than that it's a fantastic balm, great for price too.

It has menthol which I love and the ingredients are super soothing and protective. I wear it everyday, even under lippie and re-apply as often as I feel I need to. I love the squeezy tube application which makes it easy to apply. The cap screws on tight so it is easy to carry my purse without worry that it will open up and make a mess. I have had no problems with chapped lips, not even in the cold weather we have been having lately.

I then tried this Carmex lip balm in the tube applicator. At first the tingley, menthol feeling you get after a few seconds put me off and I hadn't really planned on using it again (I'm picky) it was only out of desperation and having no other lip balms or moisturiser that I continued to apply this one day and realised this stuff is the bomb! What was I thinking this whole time cause this stuff rocks! The menthol acts as a slight plumper which I dig, so that's kinda like an added bonus. It long wearing meaning it lasts for quite a while and really does leave your lips feeling smoother and hydrated.<br />Would reccommend to anyone.

I especially love the squeezey tubed packaging because you don't have to get your fingers dirty which makes it much more convenient to use. I love to apply this before I go to bed so when I wake up in the morning I'm welcomed with soft, plush lips. Unlike other lipbalms, this lip balm doesn't just sit on the lips but properly hydrated them. I also love the minty feeling of this lip balm! Highly recommend !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PLUMPING&HYDRATING this product is a two in one really, it leaves you with hydrated lips for up to 12 hours and plumps your lips and gives them a juicy plump feel... the tube is really easy to apply without having to pass on germs from your hands onto your lips, this applicator is a lot more hygienic then the other ones. It also has a really nice scent to it which is really important for a lip balm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best lip moisturiser This has got to be the best moisturiser for lips in the world!.<br />A few years ago (ok, quite a few years ago!) my lips were extremely dry, so dry in fact that they were burning and stinging. I tried everything I could get my hands on to try and relieve my poor lips. I ended up in the chemist and got a little pot of Carmex. Thank Goodness! This finally relieved my lips!. Bliss!. It does have a rather distinct taste which I assume some may not like. I bought the little squeeze tube recently when I thought I was getting a cold sore. It is so convenient and does such a brilliant job. I always have a tube or a pot of this on me!.

In the morning my lips are soft and smoothe. I also use this as a base before applying my lipsticks. I love that your fingers do not have to touch the product therefore eliminating contamination and bacteria .Product stays on the lips for a long time. I always stock up on this product so I am never without. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best lip balm hands down My mum actually got me onto this lip balm and I had my doubts about it at first because I didn't believe anything could beat the classic papaw cream. I have super dry lips but this is a life saver. I found with normal lip balms I would be constantly reapplying but not with this one. It gives a cool tingling sensation and doesn't taste the best which may put off some people but I like the feeling and the taste doesn't bother me at al. The squeeze tube is very convenient and easy to apply. Don't see myself using any other lip balm this is my holy grail.

It always manages to make my lips feel so good even when there in a terrible state and I love the squeeze tube, it makes it so easy to apply. Also the tingly feeling when it's on is the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BRILLIANT! Better than Paw Paw (hard to believe I know!) Brilliant for those chaffed, dry or cracked lips for a therapeutic fast acting fix. It wasn't until I visited my pharmacist, feeling so discouraged and helpless that my Paw Paw ointment wasn't fixing my red raw lips that I discovered this gem, my saviour and favourite for the whole family during winter, skiing or even just to add a gorgeous gloss to my nude or coloured lips!

I found the squeeze tube range is what i prefer as often my fingers are not that clean when i feel the urge to apply lip balm of my lips. I also don't want to use dirty fingers to dig into the little carmex pot as i am afraid that the germs and bacteria would grow in there. When i discover the squeezing tube, that's the life-changing moment for me. I've never gone back to the little jar version anymore. It is so convenient that i can just use the same hand that i told the tube to apply lip balm. Now i don't have to worry or concern about dirty fingers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chapped lips? No more! I've been through quite a few lip balms, but this one is definitely my favourite. Nothing else quite recovers my chapped lips as fast as this one. Its cooling sensation is super addictive and tastes pretty awful so I'm not tempted to lick it off. It might just be my imagination but the tingling actually plumps my lips up a bit and gives them more volume. I would remove any remaining lip balm before applying lipstick because the colour pay-off isn't quite as strong with carmex as the base. It's also a bit awkward to apply, especially in cold weather. Overall it is quite the gem and I always come back to it.

I have sensitive lips and a lot of lip balms either cause skin irritation or just dry the skin out even though they can appear to leave a protective film. This lip balm though has a gel-like consistency yet it has staying power. My lips feel soft and moist the next day.

Very rich nourishing and it keeps my lips smooth and soft all day. I use it both in the day and at night to wake up with soft lips. It's perfect and gentle for when you have a cold as well!
