Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its Pretty Good I remember this product from when I was a kid, it's very soothing for cracked lips with a cooling sensation. I have repurchased it multiple times and recommended it to all of my friends after it healed my lips (I'm a chronic lip biter). I'm really very impressed cause, the most hydrating of drugstore lip balms compared, to some that just sit on the lips rather than actively healing like Carmex. I haven't tried any of the scented ones yet and it's available pretty much everywhere. The pros; Affordable, available everywhere, healing, hydrating, soothing and cooling.

I actually hate lip glosses because they are normally all fluff and no staying power but Carmex is the perfect texture & weight that makes my lips feel great for hours in every season. Would never travel without it.

I always buy the Carmex Click Sticks for on the go and faster application which are great, but sometimes you just want a jar that will last you for ages without running out, and is more hygenic to use if you choose to use a scoop or cotton bud. This moisturises, hydrates and protects lips, all year round. It makes a great overnight lip treatment. Just slather it on and wake up to super smooth lips. Definitely a must have during harsh weather. The limited edition jars are cute, but nothing will ever replace this original. I always wear a tiny bit under lipstick if my lips are chapped, or over matte, drying liquid lipsticks to add extra hydration and a touch of gloss. Definitely a can't live without product for many reasons!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy grail lip balm I've been using Carmex for 30 years now and will continue to use it for the next 30 years. It's one of the few balms that heals my cracked, chapped lips. I started using Carmex when I was 16. My lips were cracked and bleeding but none of the lip balms were helping. I asked the pharmacist and he gave me my first jar of Carmex. By the end of the day my lips had started to heal and within 3 days they were fully healed. Now I'm never without my Carmex. If you have dry, cracked lips Carmex will be your saviour.

I consider there is no other treatment on the market to relieve and cure symptoms of Cold sores. Also very successful in healing dry and cracked lips. I can (and do regularly) recommend Carmex to all my friends.

Somehow this product just boils off all dead skin leaving FRESH SEXY JUICY lips that are ready to go as is or ready for lipstick and to go out and be beautiful. It doesnt smell. Its not expensive. It doesnt make your face red and blotchy. It is the GOAT. Now if we have to get into detail - yeah most places sell it for WAY TOO MUCH. I dont understand - its coloured gold - it isnt ACTUAL gold. I mean the product itself is probably the closest thing you will get to gold in terms of a lip product - but its not gold so why the $$$. I will tell you that if Carmex wanted to hit ALL the markets why don't they attack the lipstick game with a carmex formula that also is a night out formula. BOOM BABY. There is no flaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best lip balm Carmex lip balm is my preferred lip balm by a mile, it calms sore chapped lips but better it prevents sore chapped lips if I don’t forget to pack it with me on my daily walks on the beach in the cold winter months, lips are kept perfectly conditioned in the harshest of winds and cold days. I prefer the original flavour as opposed to the other flavours. I now make sure I always have a few tubs & tubes in my stash. I like the tingly feeling it gives after you apply it. I also use a little with my lip liner.

I love the feeling when I put this on my lips, it gives a bit of a tingle. My lips are always nourished and plump, no matter what I can always rely on this lip balm and I will never use anything else!

I use the carmex in the jar at home in favour of the click stick as it is cheaper and lasts forever, I've used my current one for a year and still going! The stuff is absolutely effective, and helps my lips go from really chapped, to nice and moisturised overnight. I can't praise this lip balm any more.

It has a faint, slightly sweet scent which I don’t really notice at all after about 10 minutes. This lip balm tingles for a little while after you first put it on, which takes some getting used to but isn’t unpleasant. I haven’t had any issues with the pot but I’ve only been using it for a couple of months.
