Rated 3 out of 5 by from Have always loved the design of this product instead of a squeezy tube. Don't like the new formula however! Where is the science that says a liquid gel is better than a paste? What really is so different between the effectiveness of gels or pastes? Probably not much. You should have stuck with the old formula. Change for changes sake is not necessary. This is a downgrade not an upgrade.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product changed to a blue paste - it is now terrible. Very disappointed with the new blue coloured gel "new look paste, same great taste". Teeth don't feel anywhere near as clean compared to the previous white paste, and it now feels like I'm brushing with a children's toothpaste due to the colour. Definitely not repurchasing. A company shouldn't change what isn't broken.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely terrible I have stopped buying your toothpaste, because the 'new' blue gel is absolutely terrible. It has a greasy feel and unpleasant to use. Did you actually do any market research before introducing this product? I used to buy several of the previous white toothpaste at a time, as I clean my teeth at least 3 times a day, but along came the awful replacement. Sorry - no go for me. 0 out of 10.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back the old white formula! It was the best! I loved the original version of this and used it for well over a decade. I was devastated when the formula was changed. The blue gel is messy, ugly and I have had to try and find a suitable replacement elsewhere, which is impossible. Please bring back the original formula, I miss it!!!!

You may recall that it originally came in 3 versions - a white paste, a blue paste, and a blue gel. I have always disliked gel toothpastes and consciously avoided that one, and was pleased that my preferred option was the one that lasted as the other versions were discontinued. So I was extremely disappointed to discover you have changed the formula to a gel. The flavour is different (and worse) and it is overall less pleasant to use. This was entirely unnecessary, and based on the other reviews here, no-one likes this change.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from change was not required, give me back the original white version This is NO good anymore. There is nothing the same as the white version of this toothpaste. Not as fresh or clean, foams up everywhere, definitely throwing this in the bin and getting something else. Want the original back as I have been using it for years and years. Please let me know if you go back to the original formula as that was the best on the market.

Have used the old version for many years & did not realise the product had changed to a gel. Will not be buying this again. Will be shopping for another brand

Rated 1 out of 5 by from "I like your old formula better than your new formula" (i.e. new formula sucks - I'll be looking for a new brand of toothpaste). I had been using the white paste version of this toothpaste for several years, and I didn't notice that the formula had changed to a "new" blue gel until after I had opened it. The new formula is terrible. It doesn't have the same flavour or texture, my teeth don't feel as clean, and it doesn't have the same breath freshening effect. My teeth also appear less white than they did with the old formula. The white version was the only minty toothpaste that didn't taste soapy to me. I will now be shopping around for a new brand. I would have given the product 0 stars if allowed.
