The smell is not overpowering, gentle and soft. Great natural scent. Best to use every time after shower or before go to bed. Check out other products too. Rediscovered it just recently and have been using it on my hands and for the first time in 20 years have noticed an almost immediate difference. Dry sore hands has been such a problem for me, but I've been enjoying such smooth, soft and comfortable hands for the last week since I began using it. Will definitely continue and would definitely recommend this for people with sore problem hands.
