MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.

General Information
The Optislim VLCD (very low calorie diet) Tomato soup is a nutritionally balanced total meal replacement designed for people requiring a practical weight management program. It contains all your daily nutritional requirements, including 25 vitamins and minerals when you use three soups per day. Remember to maintain adequate fluid intake. We recommend that a minimum of 2 litres of water is consumed per day

Directions
Add one 55g sachet to 200ml of hot water, do not use boiling water. Pour contents into a mug, add approximately 50ml of warm water and mix to form a thin paste then add 150ml of hot water and stir until dissolved. Drink immediately. Once prepared any unused portion of the soup should be discarded, it should not be stored for use at a later time. One serve of the Optislim VLCD soup can be replaced with one serve of any other product in the VLCD range.

Great flavour
Considering this is a weight loss product I'm really impressed with this. The flavour is nice. The consistency is lovely and it dissolves really well. I would say give it a go. Nothing to lose except weight really

I don't know any diet soups that are good enough for a restaurant.
Strongly suggest, as per instructions, do not use boiling water.
I also found it better to sift out the soup into a cup to remove any parsley.

Fills you up, but tastes weird
This product works as intended, and for that reason I would buy again. However, the tomato soup has a really sickly sweet flavour. I found that this could be improved by blending the soup rather than mixing, and by combining it with a dash of white balsamic vinegar, herbs, spices, and sauteed veggies.

Unfortunately this soup although doesn't taste too bad you have to make with hot tap water which makes it lukewarm. I like my soup hot so haven't enjoyed using the product not sure I will finish the box I purchased.
