What is Dry Eye?

Dry Eye is a condition that occurs when your eyes either produce too few tears or the quality of your tears are poor. This can cause dryness, discomfort and may interfere with vision.

Symptoms of Dry Eye include: burning or stinging, gritty or foreign body sensation, and watery or blurry.

How to use REFRESH® Eye Drops

Refresh Liquigel Eye Drops 15 mLStep 1

Wash hands with soap and water dry them with a clean towel. Tilt your head back with both eyes open and look at a point on the ceiling.

With your index finger, gently pull your lower eyelid to form a small pocket inside the eyelid.

With the other hand, gently squeeze 1 drop into the pocket.

Do not allow the tip to come into contact with your eye.

Slowly close both eyes, but do not blink or squeeze your eyes, and gently press the inner corners of your eyes (by your nose) with your fingers for about 2 minutes.

This will help the eye drops remain in your eye for a longer period.

Gently blot extra drops from face with a damp cloth. Repeat steps 1-4 for the other eye.

Replace the cap immediately after use.

General Information

Refresh Liquigel Eye Drops for persistent dry eyes.

REFRESH LIQUIGEL® extra strength relief is specially formulated to help restore moisture to persistent dry eyes. It contains some of the same healthy qualities as natural tears. The advanced preservative technology, Purite, breaks down into components of natural tears when instilled into the eye.

Indication:

For extra strength, temporary relief of persistent dry, irritated eyes. May also be used to protect eyes from further irritation.

Carmellose Sodium 10mg per 1mL

STERILE A.

Size: 15mL

Warnings

For external use only. If irritation persists or increases, discontinue use and consult your practitioner.
Replace cap tightly after use.
To avoid contamination, do not touch tip to any surface.
Keep out of reach of children.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Contents are sterile if seal is intact.
Discard unused contents 1 month after opening.

Ingredients

Each mL contains: 10 mg Carmellose Sodium and 75 micrograms PURITE® (Preservative).

Directions

Instil 1 or 2 drops into each eye as needed or as directed.

With this extreme heatwave, I have had to have a fan on full blast, pointing directly at me, and my eyes were stinging & burning so much from that drying effect of the fan, that they actually hurt just to open. I normally use the standard Refresh drops & they generally work quite well, but despite repeated applications, they just weren’t cutting it. I admittedly was looking for the least expensive solution, but OMG! Not only were these the cheapest option, they are AMAZING! I was super surprised that they weren’t “tear-like” drops and that they were actually “gel-like” (IKR! I mean, GEL is actually in the name, but clearly it wasn’t just my eyes that were dry, my brain must have been affected too!). I’m not even exaggerating when I say this, but I used them once, and 24hrs later, my eyes are still perfectly hydrated-and yes the fan is still on! Highly recommend these Liquigel drops especially when the normal drops just aren’t enough. Give the gel formula a chance, it is different to all the “normal” drops, but if you need long lasting relief for super dry eyes, they are certainly worth trying. And hey, if you find they aren’t ‘for you’, their inexpensive cost won’t *sting* so bad!

I ordered from the Chemist Warehouse and my order came extremely fast and extremely inexpensive. I will always use the Chemist Warehouse. They are absolutely wonderful!!!! Best, Jack

This gel is a great substitute. It lubricates the dry eye really well and is long lasting throughout the day.
