General Information

A treatment for common and plantar warts in a convenient 5g tube.

What are warts?
Warts are viral infections of the skin. Viral warts may appear at any age but are most commonly found in older children. Warts are spread via contact with the virus and most often appear on sites subject to trauma i.e. fingers, elbows, knees and feet.

What is Wart-Off Stick for?
For the treatment of common and plantar warts.

Who is Wart-Off Stick for?
For children and adults with common or plantar warts.

Why should I use Wart-Off Stick?
Wart-Off Stick has no messy liquids and is easy to apply. It is a convenient way to remove and destroy wart tissues.

Size: 5g

Warnings

For external use on common and plantar warts only. Do not use on lips. Do not use continuously for more than two weeks, at any one time, unless on medical advice. Do not use if you are a diabetic, have impaired circulation, nerve damage or have had previous operation around the wart area. If unsure ask your doctor or pharmacist. Wart-Off Stick should not be applied to broken skin, moles, birthmarks or unusual skin growths. Wart-Off Stick may cause infection. If infection occurs discontinue use and seek medical advice. Do not use on infants or very young children unless on medical advice. Do not treat warts in close proximity, or over large areas, at any one time. Do not apply to your face or ano-genital areas. Wart-Off Stick contains salicylic acid to destroy tissue. If burning or stinging occurs wash thoroughly with running water and apply an antiseptic cream. In case of accidental ingestion seek medical advice immediately. Wart-Off Stick is flammable - keep away from fire or flame. Replace cap tightly after use. Contains chlorobutanol hemihydrate as an antimicrobial preservative.

CAUTION

For external use on common and plantar warts only.

Ingredients

5 g Topical stick. Contains Salicylic acid 400 mg/mL (40% w/w)

Contains: Salicylic acid 400 mg/g (40% w/w)

Directions

1. Wash affected area.
2. Soak wart in warm water for 5 minutes to soften.
3. Dry area thoroughly.
4. Cover the top of the wart only with a thin layer of Wart Off Stick. Avoid contact with surrounding skin to avoid damage to normal skin.
5. Cover the wart with a waterproof plaster, so it does not breathe. Do not leave the wart uncovered.
6. Repeat once daily until the wart has cleared. Change the plaster every couple of days or as desired. Should the condition persist consult a doctor.

Even with it being in an awkward spot and the bandaid constantly falling off, this medicine has worked extremely quickly. Yesterday a large portion of the wart came off, and it is almost all gone. Painless and quick.

Ended up having it frozen at the hospital every 2 weeks until it was gone. For some reason, it came back a couple of months ago, so I purchased this with hopes of it doing something. Was not expecting the amazing results that I got, especially within a week. No pain, no inconvenience (apart from needing to soak my elbow, not as simple as the hand or foot), no need for doctors!

Used at night only, covered with big bandaids and after about 2.5 weeks of regular use, warts are all gone. Pain free and easy to use. Would be great if it came with a small applicator, but we improvised with cotton buds and cuticle sticks.

It was easy to use and was just a simple cream which you can easily apply onto yeh affected area. The only issue with the cream is that as it requires the use of a bandaid to be placed over the cream so it is airtight the cream is very lubricating so my only issue I found was that the bandaid would need constant reapplying but other than that I’m very satisfied with the product. I've been going for about week and it doesn't seem to be doing anything for me although I have rubbed the dead skin down as instructed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How was this approved I made the mistake of buying this over the normal paint on product. It is very difficult to add to a small wart. Just imagine using lipchap to add to a small area. Yes, it does work, which brings me to the 2nd point. How can you put an acidic product into a package which is identical to a lip product. It tells you not for lips, but if its lying around, its very hard to discriminate between it and a sunscreen or wind balm stick. This product should not be on the shelf.
