General Information

Biore Pack Ultra 6


The only thing worse than your typical blackhead is a stubborn one. Bioré® Ultra deep cleansing pore strips offer maximum pore cleansing power to combat difficult pore-clogging dirt and oil around the nose area. Formulated with tea tree oil, menthol and witch hazel to cool the skin so you feel it working. Custom fit to reach dirt and oil in those hard to reach areas. Helps reduce the appearance of pores with regular use. For best results, do not use more often than once every three days. Dermatologically tested, hypo-allergenic.

Ingredients

Polyquaternium-37, Silica, Aqua, Glycerin, Polysilicone-13, Peg-12 Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Butylene Glycol, Methylparaben, Melaleuca Alternifolia, Menthol, Hamamelis Virginiana.

Directions

Remove strip from pouch. Twist strip to loosen and separate slits prior to use. After cleansing your face, thoroughly wet nose. The strip won’t stick if skin is dry. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to skin, smooth sides down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch – like papier-mâché. Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward centre. See the results on the back of the strip!!!

These biore strips are a cult classic: known as the blackhead-gunk-puller, it is ultra easy to use and is effective for those pesky nose, chin and forehead blackheads. They come in easy to rip open sachets and require less time than a painful extraction facial, minus the 60-dollars-or-so pay. I love how it is so easy to take off- not painful at all. The best part is that they work because you can see all the gunk from your nose dotter on the paper-Mache like strip afterwards. Gross, but it's so satisfying to see what comes out after 15 minutes of pore-stripping! They're so wonderful- they really do get the gunk out.<br />As the name suggests, these pore strips may not be suitable for those with ultra-sensitive skin, or whom are on acne medication (which makes skin prone to scarring) or have a sensitive skin condition, and cannot be used on areas where pimples are present. The pore-stripping factor means a good cleanse, tone and moisturiser afterwards to prevent any damage to the pore.<br />I'm a teen and i'm proud to say that I'd recommend this to any other teens (or if you're of any age) that want a product that works for blackheads immediately. It's actually quite affordable and is super fun and efficient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gunk be gone!!! I have to say I'm impressed. Usually I'm a bit skeptical about these sorts of things... but this one really does work! You just wet your (clean) nose, peel back the plastic and apply the strip. Wait a good 10-15 minutes until the strip hardens like paper mache. Then simply peel off. I was surprised that peeling it off didnt feel painful and that my nose didnt stay red after. My skin felt soft and clean although there was a tiny bit of residue - but this was easliy washed off. The biggest amazement was that after I looked down at the strip and was amazed that it had pulled out so much gunk! I didnt know my pores were quite so clogged! But they must have been. While it was really gross to look at how much yucky pimple causing stuff had been removed it was also really great at the same time. I could SEE that it had worked and I knew my skin was better for it! I love this better than pore cleansers because this way you can really see the difference on the strip.... even if sometimes you cant notice it on your skin. Hopefully that makes sense! I will definately be buying more of these!!!!

I was to scared before to try it every time i saw someone do it i could feel there pain. The biore strips are amazing after i washed my face i applied the strip to my damp nose then waited 10min the i removed it and to my Surprise NO PAIN and the best thing of all it removed the top of my blackhead and the dirt from my pores i would take a photo but im to shameful :P . Ladies GO for it remember it does not hurt and in will remove all them nasty blackheads that we all wish would go AWAY

I wash my face with the biore warming blackhead wash first to really open up those pores and put this on. when times up the skin under the strip feels tight I peel it off and am amazed at the amount of gunk in my nose I use them once a week and over time have seen a big reduction in the amount of stuff coming out. my nose is less bumpy and the black heads are almost inexistent! well this has saved my teen face from blackheads now Biore needs to get rid of my kits and I have great faith in them :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The original and the best Be weary of other brands claiming to be as good as this. It's so not true! Believe me I've tried them and it's like getting a nasty dried up bandaid off your nose x 10. Makes your eyes water! Biore's strips really do a great job. So easy to use. Just cleanse your face, wet your nose and pop it on for 10 minutes or so. I put it on after the shower as then my pores are nice and open and the strip can really get into those blocked areas. Just make sure your nose is wet enough Taking it off can be a challenge at times so you need to make sure that you don't leave it on too long and be aware of differences in drying time when interstate or overseas. The air humidity, or lack of, can affect the time required. Regardless I pull it off slowly from each side until it's only on the tip of my nose. Too easy I use these strips about weekly and really miss them when I'm out. Which is a problem these days as my 14 year old son likes to use them. He is at the age where his skin is changing and becoming oilier so is prone to blackheads. Particularly on his nose. Note: don't use more than about weekly. There are good instructions to follow on the pack This product is a godsend and part of my weekly beauty maintenance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OUCH! The only place that I get blackheads is on my nose. These are fantastic for removing them. As I wear make-up everyday (yes even on weekends) I find that I get a build up of blackheads on my nose so normally once a week or when I feel my nose getting a little rough I go and pop one of these on. So easy to apply just wet you nose and on they go, I find that using warm water works better that cold water. Fifteen minutes later they have hardened up nicely so off they come, this is the part that hurts, makes my eyes water, but not enough for me to stop using them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly Surprised When I first picked these up from the supermarket for my fiance and myself, I was a little reluctant to use them. Putting what essentially looks like a piece of masking tape over my nose and ripping it off? Not so appealing. But I thought I'd give them a go anyway. On applying to my wet skin, I found the strips to fit over my nose very well, with no gaps, and also they adhere very well to the skin, they don't feel loose or like they might fall off in the slightest. The 15 minute wait while it dries feels like the right amount of time to me, it actually feels like it's "doing something" while it dries, as opposed to just sitting on my skin. When the time came to (carefully!) remove it from my skin, I did kind of feel like it had taken a layer of my skin with it at first, but that feeling quickly dissipates. And taking one look at the strip, it's immediately obvious that it has been more effective then anything else I've used to clear out my pores ever! This might sound a bit gross, but you can really see all the gunk and blackheads that the strip has taken out of your nose, it's quite amazing to see! 10 minutes after removing the strip, I had a look at my nose and it really did look clearer and feel clean. A fantastic product for visible results (the kind I like!) and would highly recommend it to anyone, from a teen that's experiencing their first blackheads to more mature skin. A staple in my cabinet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Blackhead Buster ♥ I suffer from heaps of blackheads on my nose, and these strips are seriously a godsend! They are the most effective blackhead busters I have ever come across. Wearing it for 15 minutes is odd but not uncomfortable, I found that you can smell the tea tree oil which some people may not like, but it reassures me that there are some natural ingredients in the product. The instructions are easy to follow, and it is obvious when the strip is ready to remove because it becomes hard like papier mache. Removing it hurts a little, but it's certainly worth it to see all those little spikes of gunk on the strip :P I find that you have to wet your nose really well for it to work completely, otherwise it doesn't have an effect on the deeper blackheads. TIP: Before putting it on, steam your face to open the pores, and make sure you cleanse really well after to avoid break outs. Overall this is a great, simple product and certainly worthy of my 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from been using these for years I have been using the biore strips almost since the moment they came on the market. i wear makeup nearly everyday and it feels great to use the pore strips once a week to remove all the gunk that i dont notice building up in my pores on and around my nose i take my makeup off, and cleanse my face, then pull a strip out of the box, wet my nose thoroughly, peel the strip off the backing and pop it on my nose. i pat it down firmly, then wander off and do something else ( perhaps scare the kids ;) ) when its time to take it off i gently remove the strip. then for some reason i always become fascinated looking at all the gunk that it has removed from my pores i know there is some debate as the weather they are good for your skin, as they may be removing a layer of skin when you pull them off, however there doesn't seem to be any definitive answer about this. and in the meantime i like the way they make my pores feel clean and gunk free.

I have tried so many products for them but the product which always gives me great resuts is biore ultra deep pore cleansing strips. I love the product and use it 2-3 times a week with never fail results :) Best of all this product never leaves me skin red and irritated, with a bit of moisturiser my skin looks more radiant than ever :)

Maybe the only difference is that removing the Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips is not as painful as the Deep Cleansing ones. I'm not sure. It's brilliant anyways and the pain is worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blackheads-be-gone! I tried these trips to try and combar against the blackheads on my nose and to remove all the excess oil in that region. I wasnt thinking that they would work dramatically and that I would be able to see results fast but boy was I mistaken! After the first trial of the strips I could actually see the impurites left on the strip and I was suprised at how much residue was actually on the strip. It showed me that they actually worked and that they penetrated deep into the pores to remove excess oil and impurites. It didnt hurt at all, so people who have litle threshholds for pain will love these strips! My nose was left with a tingling sensation after removal of the strip, but no redness or irritation at all. Definetely I will keep purchasing these strips and continue use with them. I saw a visible reduction in my blackhead amount.

I have used pore strips over the years but hadnt for a while so was looking forward to trying these. The Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips are simple to use, I applied to my nose when it was damp. I removed the strip once it was dry, peeling off carefully from the corner. The results are so satisfying! Left my nose free of blocked pores and so soft. I didn’t get any irritation when using but I wouldn’t use these often as I find it could get too harsh but I would suggest using for times when you find you need a deep clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as described [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found these deep cleansing pore strips really easy and fun to use, the instructions were super easy to follow and they worked exactly as described on the pack. I loved the smell of menthol while i was using them, it was quite refreshing. After 10 minutes of having the pore strip on your nose it will start to feel quite tight and it is best to slowly peel it from the edges so you don't do any damage to your skin. Some days I pull a lot of gunk from my nose, other days not so much but I do notice that my skin feels tighter after I have used them. I think that might be the effect of the witch-hazel. I've been using these weekly for 5 weeks and my boyfriend was intrigued by them and used one as well. He loved it and was amazed at all the oil, dirt and sebum that was seen on his strip afterwards.

Leave on for 10 minutes and remove. Watch as it removes dirt blackheads and grime from your skin. It contains tea tree oil, menthol and witch hazel which is good for the skin. Good to use weekly. It comes with 6 strips in the packet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rip that off after it's Dry! Make sure it's dry and the full 15 minutes are done. Using these in humid weather is not recommended as they don't dry out enough to work properly. Washing residual stuff off is a nuisance though. When used properly they're really quite good. I'll be buying them again.
