The only issue I'm having is that they don't always seem to work. There are certain times of the day that I test, under very similar eating, sleeping and activity conditions where one would expect to be in ketosis, and sometimes these just don't give a reading at all.

I used to check Ketone levels and the first couple of times worked great but they seem to lose their ability/strength after opening a couple of times. I followed instructions and closed the lid immediately but even though my diet had not changed the color did not change. At just $7 I guess you get what you pay for!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not enough chemical on the strips I bought these to check my ketone levels and whilst it does work and turns purple, the purple spot is only a small part of the middle of the square, which then fades into lighter colours all around the edges, fading out to white. This makes it difficult/impossible to compare your colour against the guide on the bottle which tells you your level of ketones. When I bought this product about a year ago, the whole square would turn purple. I wonder if the company is now putting only a small amount of the testing chemical on the strips. This is a real nuisance as I cannot actually measure my level of ketones.

The product has a shelf life of 6 months once opened. So l have no idea if these are still ok to use. Disappointed that before the product was packed this was not checked. Poor quality control. Did not think to check before leaving the store as it was just handed to me. I checked there was the correct number of products but did not think to check the seals.
