They shred/tear nails and the result is so rough. I am very disappointed, as my old pair was so good and made nail cutting a breeze.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t cut Recently bought a new pair of these straight nail scissors. We have had a pair of these at home for years, and they were great, but the new ones are rubbish. Can’t cut a nail with them, but bend and tear your nail; no problem. I’d like to know what’s changed with production of the new ones, but I’m throwing these out and won’t dare buy a new pair of these right now

My nail slides in between the blades and is more squashed/delaminated than cut. Do not buy these especially if you have soft nails.
