General Information

Dermal Therapy Heel Balm Platinum is a highly concentrated blend of selected ingredients combined within a rich emollient base to provide faster and more effective skin regeneration. Dermal Therapy Heel Balm Platinum:
is clinically tested to hydrate dry, cracked heels and feet with visible results in just one day
contains 30% urea
has been specifically formulated with ingredients such as amino acids that mimic the skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF) which is the skin’s natural protection shield against dehydration

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Always replace cap after use. Do not use if tube seal is broken or appears tampered with. Discontinue if local irritation or rash occurs during use. Do not dispose of carton as it contains important information .Recommended for adult skin only. Stinging may occur in deep cracks.

Ingredients

Aqua, Urea, Cetearyl Alcohol, Lanolin, Paraffinum Liquidum, PEG-20 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Decyl Oleate, Paraffin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Phenoxyethanol, Allantoin, Sodium PCA, Benzyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Glycolic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glycerin, Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract, Xanthan Gum, Proline, Alanine, Serine, Sodium Phosphate, Sodium hydroxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Caprylyl Glycol, Fragrance.

Directions

Apply once or twice daily to dry, cracked feet. Once hydration of the skin is restored continue use to maintain.
Can also be applied daily as a preventative moisturiser to help keep your feet soft, smooth and supple. 

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dry heels be gone! I don't have excessively dry heels, but I do definitely have some dry skin. I find that this heel balm is lovely to put on either before going to bed, or in the morning before putting on socks and shoes. If I'm preparing for a special night, for the week in advance I will use this heel balm every night before bed, or for the few days in advance I will use it in the morning and before bed. It's not so greasy that if wear it with shoes and socks during the day that you slip and slide and feel uncomfortable, however I prefer to wear socks to bed when wearing this balm. It is effective at reducing the dry skin on my heels (I also pop it on under my big toe where I'm a bit dry and callous-y) with regular use. The smell is not unpleasant, however I have smelled better when it comes to foot cream. This is a worthwhile purchase if you're looking at trying a product to remedy dry heels.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extreme Moisture I received samples of this product to trial, and it does work well. This is great if you have a build up of hard, thick skin you want gone! It's extremely moisturising and eliminates the dryness of heels (and all of the bottom of my feet) straight away upon application. After using it for a few days, the hard and thick skin starts to just disappear. Skin is smooth and soft and very hydrated. Once I stopped using this, the hard skin started to return. I recommend continual use or maintaining smooth feet with other tools once you've reached your required level of softness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Was sent this for free from BH Thankyou so much Dermal Therapy and BH for sending me a full size sample of this. The tube is short and thick with a flip lid. The colours and design of the tube are masculine in appearance. The cream is very thick and I would call it greasy but in a good way. The packaging implies that your feet will be completely fixed overnight. This is not quite the case. I think 3 or 4 nights is best but then my feet were very rough. $13,95 is a great price for this product. Such a bargain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great solution for dry heels (and toes!) I was lucky enough to received a full-size tube of this heel balm as a prize. As I had never used a heel cream before I wasn't sure quite what to expect, but after a couple of days I was seeing a definite improvement in my feet. Although my feet weren't in excessively poor condition before I began using the balm, there definitely were some thick calloused patches of skin there that I definitely feel Dermal Heel Balm helped to soften and reduce dramatically. I therefore would have to say that this product really lives up to its claims. The balm itself is quite thick and has a light (I would say masculine) fragrance to it. It's not greasy - quite the opposite...these no need for lengthy massaging of the product as it dries more-or-less immediately. In fact, if you keep rubbing after it has dried it actually begins to pill. Although the tube packaging is simple to use, because the balm is so thick it becomes difficult to squeeze once you're part of the way through the tube. I actually cut my tube in half and scooped the rest of the balm into small jar. In closing I would have to say that this is a really effective product that worked well for me. I'm not sure I'll repurchase simply because I'm lazy with my feet and tend just to use hand cream on them. I will however definitely be recommending this to anyone I know who is looking for a solution to thickened heel/foot skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heel Balm that realy does work I received a couple of sample sachets from BH and was sceptical as I have tried many different products for my dry and cracked heels. It does not matter that I treat my feet to mechanical exfoliation every 2 weeks, they always end up dry and cracked and it is an endless circle. This product did give some noticeable relief overnight and my feet were much softer. Perhaps constant daily use would be good but that is not practical for me but I will continue using as often as I can to help maintain smoother feet.

I found this lovely it sunk straight in I didn't even have to wear socks it hydrated my feet very nicely it did not however get rid to the hard calloused bits.Also it did NOT STING like most other creams.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best healing balm This is an awesome product, I am so glad BH sent it through to their members and in its full size too! It comes packaged in a cardboard box and inside is a cute tube. On the tube it says it is clinically tested and non greasy and I really do believe it is true to its word. The tube stands on its lid which is perfect for sitting up in the bathroom cabinet. After I have washed my feet for the night, I apply the cream which is a almost grey see through cream which is definitely not greasy. I use a generous dollop which is enough for my heel and behind my toes. I can feel this "heeling" sensation when I lay out my feet which is like its doing its magic! Its very relaxing! I'd been using the heel balm for a few weeks and when at the pedi place, the lady said my feet did not need any shaving or exfoliation as it was quite perfect! Such a great product, would definitely recommend to others.

Come this morning her feet look and feel healthier and she was much happier! looking forward to round two tonight!

This is a thick intense balm cream that will moisturise and relief your dry heels instantly and easily absorbed . Only a small amount is needed and is great to use over any dry areas of your feet. If you have oily skin , you may not like it due to the intensity of the balm , but wonderful for any dry cracked heels. Best of all it hardly contains any fragrance and leaves no greasy feeling .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Speedy! This heel treatment is a fast way to smooth and silky heels. I have a bit of dryness from wearing heels, thongs and a few nasty blisters in the same spot. My man had extremely dry heels with big cracks in them. This heel balm worked for both of us and left us with lovely smooth feet. It comes in cardboard packaging and inside there is an adorable little tube. This tube is very compact and is great for travelling. The lid is a screw top lid which means that there is no possibility of leakage. The product is sealed on the inside and I found this difficult to remove, it would be nice if it had a little tab to pull on. The balm is a thick white cream with a very faint lanolin/cream smell. It is easily massaged into the skin and doesn't leave any greasiness or residue behind. We used it once a day, at night time after showering. I found that after two days my heels not dry at all and my calloused/ dry skin was well on the mend. I probably only used a 10 cent coin amount for each foot. After 4 days my man had no more cracks. They were still visible where they had been but they were no longer dry and scaly. He used more than I did, about a 20 cent coin sized amount for each foot. We found it to more effective to do after showering at night so we could go to bed without worrying about putting on shoes and it could work its magic. In winter I would wear socks after putting it on to help it work even better. To maintain my smooth feet I will probably alternate between a foot cream and this heel balm. The Dermal Therapy Heel Balm is quite inexpensive for a product with guaranteed results. The tube is small and cute but would last a long time even with regular use. I would recommend this to anyone with super dry and cracked heels, as it such a fast acting product.

I get the occasional callous if I've worn heels for too long but other than that, they are not dry or cracked. However, this product gives my feet a whole new feeling. After applying the thick cream, which is a nice consistency, it is immediately moisturising. I usually only apply once a day because I don't feel like my feet need anything more and I can see the callouses have gotten smaller in just a few applications. The balm doesn't have any particular smell and it is very easy to use. I would definitely recommend it, you can't go wrong with this heel balm. Even if you don't think your feet need any attention it would always be good to have at home for the occasional dry patch. I am super impressed!

It's packaging says that it is clinically tested and shows impressive before and after of the product working its magic. Its suggest to use once or twice daily for 14 days and then continue to use to maintain results. What I love: *rich thick cream *easily absorbed *light subtle scent *non greasy *practical, hygienic packaging *makes dry heels feel instantly smoother and more hydrated *easy to use What I don't love: *for the amount you receive it is more expensive than similar products, especially because its recommended for continual use to maintain results. The bottom line: I would purchase if my feet became really cracked. The reason I gave 4 stars was because for 75g tube it is more expensive then other products on the market and although I have really dry hard heels, I don't have any deep cracks so I cant 100% say how it would perform in that case but love it all the same.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost HG! I recently bought this after reading an article on here and as it was on sale at my local chemist I bought this instead of my HG heel balm. With a huge 30% urea in it plus some Glycolic acid it certainly made an immediate impact upon my dry heels. A few days later and the effects are even better! I'm so pleased this didn't disappoint as I went to buy my normal heel balm and just hoped this would be as good. So far I can say it is! I have a huge build up of skin on one of my ankles from sitting cross legged all the time and have had it for years and it is rather unsightly. Well I decided to pop some onto that spot also and within a few hours I took my socks off and started rubbing that spot thinking it had cream still sitting on the surface. It wasn't! It was dry dead skin peeling off. So impressed by this as I certainly wasn't expecting such results, particularly to the spot on my ankle so it exceeded my expectations, which let's face it, rarely hapipens. For best results use a foot file before application and after slathering this cream on your feet pop on some socks overnight and allow it to do its job! Wake up to much softer feet.

After a recent trip to Darwin and wearing flip flops for a week, my heels were starting to look very dry, cracked and worse for wear. I originally bought the Dermal Heel Balm Platinum for my husband because he suffers terribly with cracked heels and they often get so bad they bleed and are quite painful. The foot balm comes packaged in a plastic no frills tube and contains 75g of product. The balm is thick and has a very pleasant fragrance, it contains highly concentrated ingredients in a rich emollient base to promote faster healing and regeneration of your skin but it doesn't feel oily or greasy. After showering at night, I apply a thick layer of balm to the heels of my feet and slip on a pair of socks so the balm can penetrate deeply into my skin, then hop into bed. After using this balm for four consecutive nights I can already see a huge difference to my heels. The deeper cracks have started to repair and my heels are generally looking much better. My husband is not one for using "beauty" products but he swears by this product because it delivers results quickly. After using this continually for a period of less than two weeks, his feet have improved tremendously! Now that the warmer weather is approaching, I will continue to use this balm so that my feel are sandal worthy in no time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does an okay job I got this product in the last Beautytorium. I was expecting it to work really well because of all the great reviews. I found that it didn't work as well as it said. My feet are still dry when using it. I don't get deep cracks in my feet and I know that's probably what it's made for so that's maybe why it didn't work so well. I was expecting though to be able to use it as a very moisturising moisturiser. But it doesn't really work like that. It's a very thick consistency, it smells okay and doesn't sting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Still have cracked feet I bought this when I was looking for a new heel balm to try. I suffer from dry and minor cracking in my heels. I was really excited to try this, as on the packaging it states that you get "visible result within one day". I usually dont believe that kind of stuff but thought maybe it could be possible after reading all the good reviews people had written about it. I've now been using this everyday after a shower for the past 2 weeks and unfortunately have not noticed any change or any kind of results. For a product that boasts visible results within one day surely after daily use over the period of 2 weeks I should have noticed my cracks starting to close up right? This has seemed to work for other people but unfortunately not for me so I am unable to recommend it to anyone :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Drying I recently had the opportunity to try Dermal Therapy Heel Balm Platinum, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. Despite its promising claims of deep hydration, I found it to be quite drying on my skin. As I applied the balm, I was disappointed to feel a stark lack of moisture and nourishment, which is typically what you want from a heel balm. Instead of the relief and softness I was hoping for, my heels felt just as rough and uncomfortable as before. Given my experience, I cannot recommend this product for those seeking effective relief and hydration for dry skin.
