I have used the oral B electric toothbrush for over a week now. Wow what a difference it makes to my teeth and gums. My teeth feel so clean, it’s not to harsh on the gums. It’s easy to use and navigate. When not in use it just sits on the charger and is ready to go when needed. It comes with a nice black compact carry case that can be used on trips.

After every clean my teeth feel like they do after my check up at the dentist. My teeth feel so clean. I love the app that shows me where I have cleaned and the lights on the toothbrush help me not to use too much pressure which I have in the past when using a normal toothbrush. I couldn't ever use a normal toothbrush again. My teeth have never felt so clean after brushing. I have even had comments that my teeth were starting to look whiter. It's just an amazing toothbrush.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve used an electric toothbrush and I must say that this one did not disappoint! The app is super handy and picks up which section of your teeth you are brushing, it keeps track of your history, reminds you to brush your tongue, floss and use mouth wash. There are so many different features with this toothbrush - I’m still working my way through them. I never remember when to change my toothbrush so I’ve set up a reminder on the app to let me know when to change the brush head over. I trialled the toothbrush using the ‘whitening’ journey. It kept track of how many days into the journey I was and asked me to select what colour my teeth were each day. I was super impressed with the results and my teeth were noticeably whiter after 14 days - I even received compliments on my white teeth. My teeth feel like they’ve been professionally cleaned every time I use my new Oral-B iO toothbrush.

I have used a couple of electric toothbrushes in the past, but this is by far the best I have used, and I will never be able to go back to a normal brush again. The app is a pleasant addition too. I'll be using this toothbrush long term. Would definitely recommend. 5/5 stars

It has all the information required displayed on the toothbrush by way of icons or lights. It has an amazing Bluetooth app which stores all your data and even trains you on how to brush properly; something my mum never did. The device, app and functionality are great I would definitely recommend. It leaves your teeth feeling cleaned.

I have had electric toothbrushes in the past and was excited to try this one. Pairing to the app was super easy and from the first brush I was impressed. The app tells me in real time which teeth have been brushed and for how long, so it allows me to clean all of my teeth each time. It also measures pressure so I know when I am pushing too hard on my gums and teeth, this has been an issue for me in the past and I always find the heads need replacement too soon. Not any more! From the first brush my teeth and whole mouth feel cleaner and fresher, The toothbrush is very good and the motor inside feels solid. The app is where this shines though.

All available at a push of a button with led lights indicating the choice.What's more, this intelligent toothbrush detects the pressure you’re using indicating with a ring of light as well as initiating a pulse every 30 seconds so you can tackle the various sections of your upper & lower teeth. After 2 minutes a longer pulse lets you know you’re done.As a stand-alone product it has maintained my teeth so well & they’ve never felt cleaner but when I teamed it up with the Oral-B app,I was blown away with the customisation and additional features,it was next level & truly like having your own dentist ensuring you’re maintaining excellent oral health.Its a keeper.

The best part is how it can notify the section that is left unbrushed. I am a fan and will continue using it. It also tells if there is wrong pressure on tooth. Such an intelligent toothbrush with an amazing app. The app can easily guide with right brushing techniques and notifies about the battery life.

The Oral-B iO series 5 honestly provides a superior clean and super easy to set up and use. Being a new mum I'm constantly in a rush so the app is great to ensure I'm getting the most coverage, plus it's cool to see the brush have such accuracy as to where I am cleaning and light display at the 2min is really great to let me know I have brushed the correct amount of time. Oral-B also comes with smart pressure sense which is great at telling me how hard or soft I am brushing, Im a chronic over brusher and go through tooth brushes because of bent brissels however the Oral B tells me when I am pressing too hard or soft and leaves my teeth feeling refreshed. I have noticed a huge improvement in my appearance of my teeth and gums. My teeth appear cleaner, my gums have significantly settled and no longer bleed. Will be continuing to use the Oral-B iO series 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must admit that I was sceptical of the claims about this toothbrush but I am now a convert as all claims are true. From the first clean my teeth felt like "almost" dentist clean, but as time went on every clean got better and better until now every clean feels like dentist clean. I used the app for the first few times to get an idea how wrong I was doing it but now I don't need it because it taught me the proper use. The pressure sensor light is a great feature and easy to use as is the timer/vibrate function. I now find myself often brushing longer than the recommend two minutes because it feels so good. Overall I am a Big Fan of this product.

I loved the smart pressure sensor light and the ability to change between different cleaning modes was very advanced and a nice feature. The battery was also impressive with a normal 2 minute brush only using around 7% of battery. I found downloading the app and connecting the toothbrush via Bluetooth to be very simple and straight forward. I used the app with the mouth tracking and coaching which ensures you don't skip any teeth but I found to achieve a 100% score of thoroughly cleaning all sections it actually took 3 minutes instead of the 2 minute recommended time. Also if you stop the toothbrush to spit excess tooth paste out the app thinks you've finished brushing and therefore gives you a low score because you've only cleaned half the mouth. The app concept is great but it requires some fine tuning. The brush itself was flawless and I would highly recommend it for someone who likes technology.

It combines smart pressure sensors with a guided app for personalised brushing coaching. There are different modes to suit your brushing needs - Daily clean, intense, sensitive, super sensitive and whitening. The smart pressure sensor/light ring turns green when you are applying the correct pressure and red when you aren’t so you can correct as you brush. It also has a 2 minute timer so you know when you’ve brushed enough. My teeth have never felt so clean! Every time I brush my teeth it feels like I’ve just been to the dentist. The brush head feels much gentler than a manual toothbrush but it cleans incredibly well. The only downside is the cost of the replacement heads. It is recommended they be changed every 3 months. They are very expensive so you may need to consider this before purchasing this particular model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed being introduced to this toothbrush, I have been getting a much better clean and more smooth feeling teeth since using this brush. I downloaded the app which connects to the Bluetooth on my phone and there I was able to select my favourite setting out of the 5 different settings. I think it’s fantastic that it has daily coaching and tells you areas which needs improving, reminds you when you need to replace the head (recommended every 3 months) and my favourite extra function is knowing if I’m brushing to light, heavy or just perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first day I used the Oral-B iO series 5, I walked away feeling like I had just visited the dentist for a deep clean. It has multiple functions with different strength of vibration. I started using the sensitive gums mode whilst using the Oral-B app. It tracks when your gums bleed and can tell which tooth is clean and which isn’t. My gums felt best on this function. The tooth brush has a green light that shows when the correct pressure is being used and a red light for over pressure. The app can score you on your brushing and even award you trophies for a perfect clean. The teeth whitening function was my favourite and honestly gives you the cleanest brush of your life which gives a whiter smile. It comes with a carry case which I took away for the weekend. The battery life is great. After three days without a charge it only got as low as 80%. After using the Oral-B iO series 5 I will never be able to use another tooth brush again. Do your self a favour and buy this tooth brush now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oral-B IO series 5 seemed a little intimidating to use as the first electric toothbrush ever used, with lots of fancy light up icons and the downloadable app. But the clear instructions meant pretty easy to get the hang of it. The built-in lighted pressure sensor (red too hard, green being correct) is my favourite feature! And the beep every 30secs a great reminder to move on to the next area. While the thickness of the brush head in the mouth is a bit thicker than an average manual toothbrush, you soon get used to is, and it reaches the back teeth very well. Not sure how you'd go with it if you have a smaller mouth/jawline. You can change brushing to different settings, or mix between Daily Mode - Intense - Sensitive - Whiten, although it's not a major difference. Teeth feel super clean, like after a dentist vist, but you do need to be using this properly. The App provide fun info, but not necessary for normal use. Nice compact case for travelling with.

Firstly, I love its sleek look and the great travel case. Secondly, I cannot believe the difference in the feel of my teeth after using it. It is very comfortable to use, with its great technology that prevent me from brushing to hard , which I was guilty of with a manual tooth brush, as I felt I had to , to get a clean feel. I have had no bleeding him , which I sometime hard due to scrubbing to hard with my old tooth brush. There is even a whitening function on it. I will never turn back after using this amazing tooth brush!

He loved the all black colour and features the brush offered. The pressure sensitivity was great for providing instant feedback on how hard to brush his teeth. The connected app is great for kids as it meant he had a challenge to meet his brushing goals for the week. As a parent, I could check to see if he has done a good job. Oral b should target the packaging for kids or for the parents of kids. Most adults know how to brush their teeth, but kids could always do with extra guidance.

I found my teeth were a bit sensitive to begin with, but if I used it on the lowest setting it was fine. Still getting used to what the lights mean and being able to use the right pressure, and not dribbling the toothpaste. It seems to clean better that my regular toothbrush though, so I would be happy to keep using it.

There’s a few different “challenges” and “dental care journeys” you can complete through the app like consecutive days brushing or brushing at certain times of day that earn medals. The app keeps a history of your brushing and what areas need improvement. You can even change the colour of the lights to your favourite colour. The carry case is quite handy, good for travel and has space for extra brush heads. However, after the novelty of the app and different coloured lights has worn off, it isn’t much better than anything else on the market. Most of the features would maybe be suited to someone who needs a bit of extra help with thorough brushing.
