It stays on and doesn’t smudge at all, and I love how natural it looks, so much better and easier then the brow pencil I was using prior. I would recommend everyone to try Build-A-Brow! I also love the gel that sets it, even after exercise and sweating I found that this didn’t smudge at all. Hands down is now my number one favourite brow product! This is the perfect product for anyone wanting to define their brows and have them looking natural. This has given me more confidence then I normally have as I used to use brow pencils and my brows would always look smudged or rub off by the end of the day. Such a fantastic product!

I am a natural blonde and struggle to find a product that isn’t to dark and bold for my fair skin. This product has many shades and the shade I got is perfect. I am able to draw on my eyebrows like they’re fine hairs so they are not too bold. Overall I will be buying this product again! It ensures that I don’t always have to have my eyebrows tinted and can fill them in as I need to ensure I feel confident and to ensure that my eyebrows can actually be seen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to be part of the trial team in which I received the Maybelline New York Build - A - Brow, in the Blonde shade. Initially, I was unimpressed by the blonde shade - which I do think could be lighter for those of us who have natural blonde eyebrows. I was sceptical that it would suit me at all and put it aside. A few days after receiving it, it became a Godsend when I had unknowingly, nervously plucked my eyebrow with my fingers, leaving a small gap that is rather noticeable. It was then that I reached for it. The design of the product is great, the gel and brush are quite useful and not too sticky like comparable products. The product really does what it says it does - it builds your brows! The product comes out looking like hair fibres, it's easily drawn on and looks like your own eyebrow. It my case, I initially thought that it would be too dark of a colour, but it blended in. It was easily set with the gel and handy brush tool. I have used other brands and am always disappointed with the sticky gel, pomade or pencil liners. The colours should include lighter blonde shades but overall, I would purchase and recommend this product, as I find it rather useful and the end results are a natural looking eyebrow.

Firstly it is super easy to use, the liner tip is a perfect size and really allows you to build up and blend for however much you need. The colour is spot on - definitely doesn't overpower my colouring and blends in nicely with my brows, it also doesn't leave that crunchy residue some gel products have! I also love having the two in one option, I personally love to touch up my brows at the end of the work day, so this is my new go to throw in my handbag product, ready for me to quickly do a final once over.

Colour 259 Ash Brown was perfect for me, I have medium brown eyebrows and keep my hair ashy. The packaging was really nice and doesn’t take up too much room. The brow brush in the gel part of the product was really nice. I found I didn’t need to use a lot of product for maximum effect. My brows are sparser at the tail end and this product was great for that. I found this product easy to use and this is important to me as I need to get ready quickly and I always want my brows to look good. I love that the product is vegan. The product was really nice to use, no overpowering offensive chemical smell. No side effects like itching or dryness or anything like that. There is a bit of a knack to the way you need to use the pen part of product and it is best to be light handed and gentle and build up slowly. You can see the colour on the brow immediately in my opinion. The sealing gel product was effective at holding the final product in place and I found I didn’t need to use much. I found this product comparable to a higher end brow product. The product lasted all day well into the evening and even after a Pilates class. I required no touch ups and my brows still looked good when it came time to take my makeup off for the day. I believe this product would be good to use in between brow appointments as a way to look tidy and professional. I appreciated this product for my in office days when I wanted to look put together but not overdone. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to keep their brows tidy and filled in and extend the time between brow appointments.

As somebody who is not very artistic nor am I great at doing my makeup, this was so easy to use. I've always been very nervous doing my brows, as it is often too dark, but this builds so delicately, and the end result is so much more natural. If I made a mistake, it was easy to clean. I tried it on my hand and it's so smooth. The worst thing is the dryness of eye liners you sometimes have to put water on it but this pencil was so nice to apply. I highly recommend this product. I used the Black Brown. Especially being 2 in 1 means fewer things in my makeup bag! I am not an expert and never know what product to get and using this was so easy honesty. I am so glad I got to review it!!!

I have brown eyebrows but always find they can look slightly sparse in some areas. This product comes in a handy box with information and pictures on the colour, how to apply and its benefits. It's a two in one gel which includes a sealing gel. I found the medium brown colour matched my brows perfectly and the filled in colour lasted all day. You can use the pen with heavy or light strokes to achieve the look you want. I am planning to buy this again when it runs out...very happy to have found it! Much better than the standard pencils which can look harsh at times.

Was so easy to use and I will definitely purchase again. Found it worked best when you held it further up the other end of the pen and flicked lightly - was very natural looking. My eyebrows were ombre'd about 2 years ago and I am about due for a touch up - this will do nicely until I can afford to do that again [cost of living crisis!]. So glad it's so easy to find and purchase and such a reasonable price as well. The clear end keeps your brows in place without making them feel stiff or hard - and the colour range is fantastic.

The fine tip allows complete control of the strokes required to draw natural looking hairs. The product itself along with the setting gel is amazing as it doesn't set hard like other products I've used. It makes your brows look completely natural. What I loved the most though was the longevity. I have a weird habit of rubbing my eyebrows whenever I've stressed or anxious (strange, I know!), and despite a stressful couple of weeks and with it a lot of eyebrow rubbing, my eyebrows continued to look full and perfect!

Surprisingly, this product is very easy to apply. I started off with small light strokes and built my way up to darker strokes. I'm very impressed at how easy this brow pen is to use. The brush on the other end makes fluffling your brows a dream and really does give a natural finish. The product stayed on pretty much on all day. Definitely worth the purchase if you are looking for a brow pen.

I was originally concerned that i would struggle to apply this nicely and i’d look like i used sharpie on my eyebrows, but it was actually quite a fine tip and was easy to make natural looking hair strokes to fill in my sparse areas. I don’t know how this would look if you used it to fully structure your eyebrows because i used it for a very soft, fill in gaps look but i think with the right application it can look really natural if thats the look you’re going for The gel was handy to have and i liked the applicator but it wasn’t the strongest hold eyebrow gel I’ve used so if you have very unruly brows you might need an extra strong hold product separate to this Id buy this again though for sure! Perfect for handbag and little touchups on the go with the dual end design too

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have very little in the way of eyebrows [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blessed with fine hair on my eyebrows and a very light brown colour. If you look closely, you can barely see them. To the point where I usually don’t bother with any maintenance. In the past I have used various eyebrow pencils to try and fill in the gaps but they never looked quite right. Not sure if it is because I have never actually seen myself with proper eyebrows before, but I never felt comfortable with darker eyebrows. I received the lightest shade of this product and was slightly concerned as it looked darker than I was expecting. However, when I applied the product it matched quite well. The brush is very fine and allows for very accurate drawing. I found I didn’t need to use much pressure and my eyebrows filled in quite quickly. As the colour was darker than expected I did have to fill in all my eyebrows to get them to match, not just the ends which are a lighter colour. The product also came with a setting gel which came with a brush. There was no smell observed and the product went on quite easily and set the eyebrows in place. The only downside is that the product did leave my eyebrows feeling as if they were coated in a light glue, but if you don’t touch and just look you wouldn’t know anything was there. So, all my other eyebrow products have been tossed in the bin and this is now my go to product. I actually have eyebrows now that look natural and I am comfortable with. I highly recommend this product to all my fellow eyebrowless people.

For years I've put fixing my too-thin eyebrows in the too-hard and too-expensive basket. Especially after a beauty counter expert suggested I steer clear of tweezers altogether (especially once she heard I plucked while watching TV, which is so very Captain Risky). I was alarmed to be told that my right brow was 'in rehab'. So, my hopes for Amy Winehouse and Lisa Left Eye looking lush again were low. Much to my surprise, this product was both easy to use and effective. With gentle, upward strokes of the pen (I used the ash brown shade) my sketchy brows appeared to return from hair heaven. The setting gel held them nicely in place again for the whole day. My only slight criticism - I'm sure you've figured out from this that I'm no spring chicken, and the directions had such a small point size that this Gen-Xer had to take a pic of the side of the box and enlarge it to read what it said. Happily, the instructions were so obvious that they were barely needed anyway. And my teenage daughter hasn't told me I look ridiculous or asked why I'm walking around permanently surprised so I'm taking that as a win. Highly recommended.

I have found that this product gives me exactly what I need and I love that it takes me no time at all to do my brows now! This product did not take long to dramatically change my thoughts! It is super natural looking – it does not act like a marker, whereby the colour transfers directly to the brow, but rather draws on quite light. It is flawlessly buildable, allowing you to have control over how dark/thick you want your brows to be. The gel on the other tip works well to seal it all in, allowing it to stay in place all day, which it had proven to do effectively. It is not very efficient at keeping the brows in place (I did have to go over them with a clear brow gel), but it is not intended for laminating purposes, so this was understandable. I also loved the way the gel did not appear white, or flake/harden throughout the day. Overall, this tool is amazing! I love the versatility of the product and the way it allows you to shape and build up the intensity of your brow to your liking. Would definitely recommend for beginners and pros, alike.

The tip of the pen end is very thin, soft against skin, and great for filling in thinning areas of my brows. Depending on the pressure applied, you can also adjust the thickness of the brushstrokes. I was provided with the shade Black Brown which matched my brows perfectly. The gel end is my favourite – the brush was applied accurately and the clear gel formula dries down quickly but does not leave my brows feeling too stiff. I like that the gel tip is see-through so I can easily see once the gel runs out. Overall, this product helped enhance my natural brows and did not leave it looking artificially touched up.

Once allowed to dry (approx 15 seconds) I comb through the sealing gel into shape. The ash brown I received blends in great for my brows it fills in any gaps and more sparse areas I have on my brows. The fine brush tip allows you to easily control how much you apply at a time only a little comes up which allows you to lightly fill them in or build them in more depth if you desire. My brows look like they have been professionally done, it doesn’t look like typical eyebrow makeup it looks much much better. Go out and get yourself a build-a-brow it’s totally worth it.

I and so pleased with this build a brow as it has given me the same look. Using the coloured end first I take the brush tipped end and gently follow along my brows filling in the gaps using upward strokes. Once I’ve done this from start of brown to end i use the sealing gel brush to seal the colour and shape of my brows. My brows look naturally filled and the medium brown blends in fantastically with my brow colour. It lasts all day and also washes off easily you can’t tell it’s a makeup product it looks really real. I highly recommend build a brown and will continue using it.

That being said, a lot of stores have 50% off sales so I would definitely wait until it goes on sale for $14 - $15. It creates really thin and fine brow like strokes that look very similar to brow hairs and it lasts all day. Up close, you can tell the difference but not from a metre or so away. I have also tried the micro brow pencil in Maybelline, also in the same colour, medium brown, and I did notice that the Build-A-Brow tends to go a bit warmer than the pencil which stays neutral so that is something to note.

I love the pen design making it easy to use and you don’t have to go searching through your makeup bag for multiple products and brushes etc. The build-a-brow pen is a 2 in 1! One end is the pen and the other end is the setting gel, it’s fool proof and so easy to use. The product itself is nothing I’ve ever used before, having tried pomades, gels and pencils over the years, the build-a-brow pen is an ink-like consistency which means it’s super easy to apply and gives you realistic hair strokes. It’s the product I didn’t know I needed! It applies so seamlessly onto the skin and has a buildable coverage for those sparse areas. The setting gel makes sure that they stay in place all day, even after working out. The range of colours accommodates to everybody, I use the soft brown colour having naturally Mousey brown hair it suits perfectly. The build-a-brow pen is very affordable which is one of the reasons I would definitely purchase this product again and recommend it to my family and friends. I would liken the build-a-brow pen to having your brows tinted in salon except now I can get multiple applications for a quarter of the salon price.

To my surprise it was so easy to use, the more pressure applied the darker it becomes which is great for filling in rather then light hair like strokes and my eyebrows are black so I got the shade black brown it was perfect. My eyebrows stayed in place all night, the gel was great it didn’t feel heavy and thick at all. I would definitely purchase this again highly recommended

The black brown shade was perfectly matched to my near black eyebrow hairs. This fine brush tip was perfect to fill in the sparse brow areas, making them look fuller and fluffier. Just be careful not to re-apply the gel after your brows are sealed, as it tends to flake off from excessive brushing once it’s set. I love how long this lasts, as well as how easily it is to remove at the end of the day. This is suitable for both brow beginners and experts, and is compact enough to pack in your handbag or overnight bag.

In just 2 easy steps, this product provides you with a natural, fuller brow look. This product is so easy to use and it creates the most perfect brow. I really wanted to test the 24 hour wear claim, and I was impressed. I decided one night to do my brows with this product, went to bed then woke up the next day with perfect brows and I got compliments at work about my brows. The gel is no joke!!! I think this product is one of the best brow products on the market and I stand by that.

I have the soft brown and if you are unsure and a first time brow person choose this one! I have mid brows and found the colour perfect! I tried this out while holidaying in humid QLD. It didn’t smudge and lasted into the night. It’s easy to use, similar to a felt tip pen. Draw little strokes and with the tip you get fine just like a hair. The gel is the second step to set the brows! Just as good if not better than more expensive options! Will definitely repurchase!

I have sparse brows as it is, so filling them in daily is something I usually do. I really loved using this product - I found that the colour matched perfectly to my own hair which really helped in giving me a natural finish. The brush was amazing - so easy to use! The tip was very fine but flexible and soft, so I was able to add hair strokes of different thicknesses with ease. It was great at filling in the gaps in my eyebrow hair and looked very natural. The use of the gel and brush as a finisher to lock it in was a nice touch. It lasted me all day. Would recommend and will be using daily from now on!

This has been an absolute game changer for me. Having been part of the generation that over plucked our eyebrows to death I have spent years filling them in with brow pencils and stencils. Build- a - brow creates a natural look with the added bonus of being super easy to use and having the ability to create different depths and style to your brows with the thin tip being used to create a hair stroke effect, and the gel setting them in place to keep them looking good for all day wear. So easy to use, it takes only a few minutes to create a flawless look whilst still maintaining a natural appearance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, nice consistency [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used a lot of eyebrow products in the past, I was skeptical that this simple product could fix the issues Ive had with my eyebrows and its colouring. The product packaging felt nice coming out of the box and was light and easy to manipulate. It also had little to no smell when opened, which was great. When testing it, the colour matched well and glided on nicely. There was no feathering or bleeding and it was able to provide a good result. Very impressed with the product overall, will be replacing all my existing items with it.
