A solid balm-to-oil cleanser which nourishes and protects skin barrier, gently melting away makeup, SPF and daily pollution.

Gentle enough for everyday use, it contains Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Squalane and Hyaluronic Acid to leave the skin feeling balanced and hydrated.

Directions

Using the built-in spatula, take a small amount of the cleansing balm and massage into dry skin and over eyes using circular motions. Apply warm water to activate before gently rinsing off.

It was really thorough and I didn’t feel like I had to scrub too hard or anything like that. I also loved the scent, it’s really subtle but adds to the experience as a whole. I used a damp face washer to remove it which I think was necessary, I tried some wipes and they still left some residue. I would definitely lean towards this. All for taking off a full face of makeup, it’s a lot of maintenance to do for just a small amount or just eyes etc. I’ve recommended to my sister as well

I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to oil/balm cleansers, and I am always on the market for a new one to try. Having a combination of dehydrated AND acne prone skin, means that a product like this is absolutely perfect for my skin. But, it can often be tricky to find one that ticks all my boxes, doesn’t irritate my eyes, and is relatively affordable to purchase on a regular basis. I absolutely LOVE this product, it doesn’t irritate my skin or my eyes, emulsifies into my skin so well, and doesn’t leave my skin stripped or feeling tight. This is a must in my skincare routine, and I found it to remove makeup and spf really well, without leaving anything left on my skin. If you’re on the lookout for a new cleansing balm, then this one is definitely for you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fox L. from Effective daily Cleansing Balm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with cleansing balm as I have been using oil based cleanser for many years. I find the mild floral scent pleasant which would appeal to other users. I was pleasantly surprised at how effective Dr LeWinn's daily cleansing balm is at removing make up. It comes with a tiny spatula which makes it easier to extract balm from the tub and minimises cross contamination. The balm is light purple in colour and has a thick balm consistency, a little goes a long way. I use waterproof mascara, which is usually difficult to remove, and I find that using a little of the cleansing balm on cotton buds, easily removes the mascara as I glide through it. The balm goes on your dry skin and emulsifies as you massage into skin with small amount of water, it becomes milky white and melts away any base foundation or waterrpoof sunscreen. I use very strong waterproof foundation and have always struggled removing it fully. This cleansing balm melted away my waterproof sunscreen with ease! My skin felt clean and supple without drying out. I do recommend reading instructions carefully so that you know how to use it properly as it is not your stereotypical oil cleanser. I used too much product in my first try and realised how little product I needed after reading the instructions! Dr LeWinn is known for using high quality ingredients, I would highly recommend this cleansing balm to anyone that looks for good quality products.

I often use a balm or oil to remove my makeup, and this is one of the nicest I've tried. The texture was quite soft and I found it melted into my skin easily, and removed my makeup quickly and effiently. I especially loved that it didn't irritate my eyes! There is a lot of product that comes in the unit, and having the spatula was really helpful so that I wasn't putting my hands straight into the container. Overall a really great and easy to use product - definitely one I would recommend to my family and friends, and one I would happily purchase!

The balm is slightly grainy but isn't scratchy on the skin and is gentle on the eye area still. It melts down and removes make-up extremely well and gets rid of it all. What I really love about this balm is that it doesn't have a fragrance and doesn't leave a film on my skin. It's very easy to rinse off and doesn't leave my skin oily. It leaves my skin really clean and soft. I love that it contains Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Squalane which leave my skin balanced and hydrated. I 100% recommend this cleansing balm to everyone even those with sensitive skin. Definitely purchasing again and again. It's awesome!

Normally I don’t apply cleanser to dry skin and put too much on ! It does say to put on dry skin but I found have a damp face allowed the product to evenly spread and remove the makeup I normally wear a lot of makeup but this cleansing balm was able to take off the mascara and foundation off completely. Highly recommend for those who wear a lot of makeup and for those with minimal. ! I found that there was no irritation or any fragrance which my skin loved! I have very sensitive skin which reacts to any makeup removal products

It is pink in colour, come with a spatula which I don't use and has a next to no scent. I use this cleansing balm in the shower when I've worn makeup. I apply it to dry skin and massage it over my entire face including my closed eyes. After I feel like I've covered my whole face I wet my hands and keep massaging before I rinse it off. My skin afterwards feels soft and comfortable. It doesn't cause any tightness and does not leave any greasy residue or film on my skin like I've experienced with other brands. I really do like this cleansing balm a lot but it's not the best at moving my mascara. I still find that after rubbing the balm over my lashes that my mascara is still there. Despite this minor inconvenience I will still continue to purchase this product.

It’s a lovely texture- starts off a little grainy when first massaged into the skin but soon melts into a lovely buttery consistency that removes makeup and spf really effectively. It’s unscented and very soothing so I think it would be well tolerated by those with slightly sensitive skin like myself. It doesn’t leave any residue and my face felt so soft and smooth after rinsing. I really appreciate that the packaging includes a spatula so you can use the product hygienically as well. An all round fantastic product and one I would be very happy to repurchase in future!

My makeup came off so easily and I liked that I could use it both while my skin was dry and then also when I wet my skin, the texture change to more of a traditional cleanser. The only thing that frustrated me with this was that I needed to wash my face again a second time otherwise I’d be left with a wierd residue and my skin felt a bit dirty. I wish I didn’t need to but I guess a double cleanse is always better for your skin in general.

They worry me that my skin would be feeling oily afterwards due to how they feel when applying. To apply this one, it comes with a handy little spoon to scoop out just enough into your hand before rubbing your hands together and applying to your face. At first it does feel oily and strange but after you wash it off, my face felt soft and clean. It smells pleasant, isn't overpowering and is suitable for daily use. I'd definitely recommend getting this one and would get it again.

It didn't quite remove all of my waterproof mascara. Normally i dont use a cleansing balm every night only when i wear makeup. I usually double cleanse with a water based cleanser. This cleanser changed my mind it was very enjoyable to use nightly. The texture was thick when scooped out of the container but once it was massaged into the skin it just melts away like an oil cleanser. It has a light floral scent and is very easy to apply and wash off with warm water. It does not strip my skin of its moisture, my skin feels very hydrated and clean. I would definitely recommend this cleansing balm to those who like the skin feeling hydrated.

I start with rubbing it into dry skin for about 30 seconds. Next I wet my my hands slightly and rub again in circular motions which turns it into a milky consistency! My one bit of advice though is I have to wash my face twice afterward! Otherwise you can definitely notice a film on your face. As I’m acne prone that’s certainly not something im willing to risk! Overall it’s is amazing as a first step in my nighttime routine as long as I ensure to wash my face properly after

Once emulsified with water the product is slightly less oily. Upon removal you must scrub quite a bit to remove the oily residue left on your skin. It does leave your skin feeling quite supple and hydrated. In my opinion, the negatives outweigh the positives. I would not pay to purchase this product. It requires a little of effort to remove the oily residue remaining on the skin, whilst leaving my skin hydrated, this was an un-dismissible negative of Dr Lewinn’s Daily Cleansing Balm. This product would be ideal for those wearing foundation as I could imagine it would remove it quite well. As this is a thick Balm I think it would be ideal. I have not trialled this product with foundation on so this is an I’ll informed opinion.

I liked the texture of the product and that it came with a scoop to easily use for applying the product on face. However, the product would sometimes get stuck in my hairline and the balm was quite difficult to rinse off so I would recommend using warm water. I usually prefer using cleansing balms for makeup removal and this was an effective one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the amazing opportunity to trial this product, which I have been doing so for a few weeks now. Prior to this, I had never used a cleansing balm before, so wasn't too sure what to expect. However, I was surprised! I used the product every morning for three weeks, and this is my review: The product is a balm-to-oil cleanser that is said to hydrate and remove makeup. I have naturally oily skin, so was skeptical trying out an oil-based product. I don't personally think this product was the right product for me, but it did have a nice smooth texture when applying it. Product application was easy - using the supplied spatula, I took a small amount and massaged into dry skin to create an oily/milky texture, applied warm water to activate, then rinsed. I found that the product felt very oily when applied to dry skin, which I wasn't a fan of. I also didn't feel like it adequately removed all of my makeup (especially around the eyes where makeup/mascara is more stubborn). However, the scent was nice and not overpowering at all. Overall, it was definitely a well-thought-out product, but I don't think that it is something I will be repurchasing unfortunately.

It removes make-up gently and effectively. The balm itself is pale purple in colour and lightly scented. The scent is pleasant, but I personally would prefer an unscented product. The balm has a soft texture that makes it easy to apply. Its emulsifies satisfactorily with water but not as well as some other similar products I have tried. Overall, this balm is useful but doesn’t have any defining features that makes it stand out from other products.

I had to read the instructions a few times to make sure I knew how to use it correctly, but it got easier and more intuitive with each attempt. I still followed up with a gentle cleanser, just to make sure all of my make-up was gone, but that probably wasn’t necessary as the balm did a great job. Unfortunately cleansing balms aren’t my favourite way to remove make-up, but they’re still effective enough if used correctly.

I'm in the market for a new cleansing balm so was very excited to be able to try this product however, I found it quite disappointing. The product states that it is a balm to oil cleanser for hydration and melting away make up but I found that my make up, specifically my eye make up, would just spread across my face. I would even go in a second time with the cleansing balm to try and remove any residual make up but found that that didn't help either. It kind of felt as though the product was just sitting on top of my skin. It worked a lot better on a light make up day where I'm just wearing tinted sunscreen or a skin tint however, I won't continue using it on days when I have a full face of make up.
