General Information

Swisse Blemish Remedy Fast Acting Drying Lotion is a targeted, triple-action anti-acne treatment designed to provide rapid breakout relief and help clear the skin. It is expertly formulated with active levels of sulfur, salicylic acid, and zinc oxide to tackle stubborn acne spots, minimise redness, and prevent new breakouts by gently exfoliating the skin and unclogging pores. Co-developed with a dermatologist, it can be used on the face, chest or back to target even difficult breakouts.

Directions

DO NOT SHAKE PRODUCT.
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1. Ensure sediment is fully settled at the bottom of the vial.
Step 2. Dip a cotton bud inside the vial and coat the tip with a small amount of sediment.
Step 3. Apply directly onto blemishes. Do not rinse. Can be used on face, back and/or chest. Avoid eye and lip area. Can be left on overnight.

I have tried different brands and they all smell of isocol alcohol which doesn't smell great and also super drying. This product does its job and smells great and feels great while doing it. The product is tacky and dries quickly so the product stays on ur face for a long time rather than rubbing off after 30 minutes. It also is a nice colour on the face and I saw results over night with the product! I would definitely recommend this product :))

Usually my pimples last around 3-4 days but with this solution, either the pimple doesn’t come to maturity on the surface or it flattens within two days. There is some tingly feeling when first applied directly on top of spots. But the next morning the spots are visibly reduced. Im really happy with the results of this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a couple of spot creams in the past and had mild success, they certainly help to reduce inflammation but this product makes is basically disappear over night. I found it didn't irritate my skin like others did and dries very quickly so it's hardly noticeable. I find I get daily annoying spots from my makeup at work and I've been applying this of a night time and waking up to the spot literally gone. Redness was less, it was also less irritating and angry. It worked best for me over night and when I felt a blemish forming (tenderness around the area) I applied it there and the next day there was nothing visable or tender anymore. On already formed angry pimples and blemishes it did work however didn’t seem as effective it took almost 2 days for it to reduce in size and redness. I would buy this product and purchase it again and use on those I feel coming up and not fully formed preventative measures.

By the next morning the product isn't visible anymore, and the pimples are normally either mostly gone if they are smaller, or far less severe. However, some pimples just seem a bit more stubborn and the results weren't as impressive on those. I wish I had this as a teen when I had far more blemishes. The only time it did sting a tiny bit was when I put it over a blemish on my face which I think had some broken skin, but otherwise it is easy to use. I’m impressed with the size and the packing of this product. The product it’s self if very dense but easily useable. I wasn’t super keen on the smell but it doesn’t linger for long. I found this product worked for me and I will be re purchasing. It’s easy to use although would be good if it came with an applicator. These thoughts are my own of a gifted product to review and try.

I have had red blemishes on my face for months and have tried lots of products to reduce the redness. This is the product that has actually worked in reducing the redness and blemishes! I love how the fast drying remedy coats and dries over my blemish and stays that way until I wash it off. This also helps break my habit of touching my blemishes. At times, I also get pimples and sometimes they can be quite painful, red and swollen and this remedy acts quickly in reducing the size, the pain and redness especially when left overnight. They usually appear on my chin and forehead - always right between my eyes in the most noticeable spot. I’ve tried ‘spot solutions’ before with little success but this product did what stated. Applying on the areas at night before bed come morning the pimples were considerably dried out & the redness almost completely gone. It seems to work very quickly as I applied for 2 nights on an angry blemish on my chin and waking on the 3rd morning it was completely gone after reducing over the 48 hour period. As a result of drying the blemish out, the soreness surrounding that area was also gone. I was sceptical at first but gave it a try. I am very lucky and only ever get a few pimples, however when I do it's always a surprise and sometimes a day before a special event! This targeted, triple-action anti-acne treatment is perfect. It is very easy to use, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. My acne spots are always very stubborn and can take up to a few weeks to go away! I found this lotion really helped with minimising the redness, and preventing any new breakouts. I've noticed significant reduction in the acne itself and minimal to no blemish. It worked during the day and is even more effective when left overnight. I also love that this can be used on the face, chest, and back. I have used it on my face and chest and it's really helped minimise the acne without drying out the rest of my face. The lotion dries almost immediately upon application and then settles as a pale pink colour so you can't really notice it on the face! It also washes off very easily. I also have no issues leaving it on overnight as it did not rub off on pillow or PJs (on the chest). There is no strong scent and it's comfortable on application. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a woman in her early 30s I still get hormonal breakouts, no matter how much care I take of my skin, and these blemishes generally last for weeks at a time, they can be very painful and not to mention embarrassing. I was very excited to try Swisse Blemish Remedy. The product itself is so simple to use and It does work incredibly fast with clearing up the skin. I recently had a gigantic pimple on my chin that just wouldn't seem to go away, it was too big to even put an acne patch over it. I tried a bunch of different products and home remedies to try and shrink it, but nothing worked, so I gave up on it and thought I'd just let it go away on its own. Well when Blemish Remedy arrived, I thought I'd test it out and see if it would help this stubborn pimple, and to my relief, after the first use I noticed the pimple had shrunk to almost half the size of itself within 24 hours. After the second use, the pimple had shrunk to almost nothing. I used it 4 times in total over 4 days and my pimple was completely gone by the 5th day. My partner also had a big stress pimple on his forehead from work, so I told him to try it, he only used it once and sajd "what sorcery is this? My pimple is completely gone and I only used it once" I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who gets pimples/blemishes. It really does work!

I have used similar products before and this has been far more effective. Scent is not as strong, and it goes away quickly. This has reduced the size of my blemishes a fair bit within a few hours. I do get some redness after removing but this may be as a result of my sensitive skin. (I was gifted this product for review)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a fair few blemishes and pimples before using the Blemish Remedy that my regular skincare wasn't helping. I used this product as instructed and my redness and pimples were noticeably reduced within 2 days. I didn't even use the product for the full week and my skin was clear again. There wasn't any excess drying out (which I find happens with most products) so it worked great for my skin type (oily/combination). I'd define buy this again. My only negative take it the strong fragrance along with the alcohol scent.
