Swisse Retinol 0.1% Clear Skin P.M. Balance Serum improves skin texture, tone, and the appearance of fine lines, while keeping breakouts under control. Designed to be part of your evening beauty routine, this lightweight, fast-absorbing serum combines pure and encapsulated retinol with niacinamide, zinc sulfate, and hyaluronic acid. Continued use reveals a renewed, balanced, and hydrated complexion. Co-developed with a dermatologist and suitable for all skin types, including acne prone.

Directions

For optimal results, apply a small amount (1 pump) to the skin at night after cleansing. Limit initial use to 2-3 times a week and gradually increase frequency as tolerated. For night-time use only.

I have noticed such a positive difference in my skin since using this serum. My skin not long looks but feels fantastic. My skin tone has really evened out and my pigmentation is much less visible. The serum just sinks into my skin, the scent is faint and pleasant and I'm also a fan of the packaging. I like the fact that there isn't much waste and you can get a lot out of the bottle.

It is combined with Niacinamide, Zinc sulfate, and Hyaluronic acid which is amazing as I am able to skip two serum steps in my skincare routine because this retinol already has the serums added into it. My skin instantly felt smoother and more hydrated after using the retinol a few times a week before bed. It absorbs extremely well into the skin and doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind. I have noticed a change in my skin already, I haven’t had any breakouts, my skin looks and feels nicer. Was gentle on my sensitive skin and didn’t sting like other retinols have in the past. ☺️ I would highly recommend this retinol to others and will continue to use in my skin care routine!

Made my skin look a lot more youthful and feeling refreshed. Although the packaging is small, a little goes a long way. It has a very pleasant smell when I use it and is easily applied onto my skin, don't need to rub it into my skin aggressively. Balance Serum in the evening after cleansing or after I have a shower for the last 3 weeks. As someone with sensitive skin, finding the right skincare product can be a daunting task. This serum has become a staple in my night time skincare routine, and it has truly transformed the texture and appearance of my skin. One of the most remarkable aspects of this product is the visibility of smoother skin. After consistent use, I noticed a significant improvement in the overall texture of my skin. Having sensitive skin often means having to tread carefully with many skincare products. However, I experienced no redness or irritation, and I felt confident using it regularly. At this time of the year in Queensland my skin often becomes a little troublesome thanks to the heat, humidity and extra sweat so it was the perfect time to try this in my basic nighttime routine. I've tried strong expensive Retinol products in the past which I often found difficult to use in a balanced way so I think this is an excellent way to introduce Retinol into your skincare regime. I noticed some improvement in the dark sun damaged areas on my upper cheekbones and the lines around the outside of my eyes feel a touch smoother under makeup products so I'm looking forward to seeing further results in that area. My skin feels hydrated and isn't noticeably sensitive after using the product. It's already a really great price but you don't need to use get much so it's great value all around, definitely worth a try if Retinol is indicated as appropriate for your skin.

The smell isn’t my absolute favourite, but it’s bearable. You do need to be careful of overusing it at first though, as it dried my skin out and made it very sensitive to the sun. I cut it back to using it twice a week, only at night, and have now increased it to three nights of the week to allow my skin to adjust. I would highly recommend for those with aging skin.

I rarely notice such obvious effects in my skins appearance and tone after using skin care products, especially those in the lower price range. But with Swiss retinol my skin just felt smoother and suppliant I noticed I had brighter skin almost straight away. The serum is easy to apply, a small amount is all that is needed for high coverage, it's easily absorbed in the skin for a non greasy finish. Also pleasant smelling. I'd definitely recommend trying this product!

I’ve been using this retinol serum every evening at night as a part of my skincare routine. My main concerns are the fine lines that are appearing around my eyes and the dryness. This product contains hyaluronic acid which i think is what has helped with the dryness. My skin feels soft and plump, definitely more hydrated. The lines around my eyes haven’t completely disappeared, but I wasn’t expecting a miracle. For the price point I would say this is a skincare essential to addd to your routine. The bottle has a nice little pump dispenser which is convenient, and stops you from using too much. I think once you get to a certain age (40+) you for sure need a retinol product in your life.

I have tried other entry level retinol products and have in the past found them way too harsh from the get go. I haven’t had any issues with the Swisse retinol serum at all and have seen fantastic results in a week even! I was noticing bumpy skin on my trip and used this serum, after one night with it on, my skin was noticeably more even as if the retinol worked to smooth and soothe away those forming small bumps. I have had other retinol serums aggressively pull up forming pimples in the past so this was a nice change. I noticed from using 3 times a week for 3 weeks that my skin was progressively getting more shiny, even and smooth. It has certainly smoothed out my complexion and even the skin tone is more even. It has had the added plus of keeping pimples basically at bay- even after having a hot sweaty day. I’ve got sensitive skin that can usually get very red but I had no issues with this serum at all. The smell is the only thing that throws me off because I’m quite apprehensive about fragrance in my skin products (due to sensitivity), however, it caused me no irritation. This is a fantastic retinol serum for beginners to maintain a better and more even complexion whilst slowly down the skin ageing process!

I have tried lots of products in the past and while I may have felt that there was an initial improvement, it unfortunately doesn’t last. This is my first time trying a retinol cream and I am not looking back. At first I applied a small pump every 2-3 days to my face to ensure I didn’t overdo it. I then moved to nearly daily topical applications after my second week. Nil issues at all. The serum is lightweight and absorbs into the skin seamlessly. It must be the Niacinamide and hyaluronic in combination with the retinol that has done the trick as my skin tone is has improved dramatically and my face feels so much more hydrated. I have also noticed that my complexion seems less dull now, if that makes sense? My skin is a lot more vibrant, especially upon waking in the morning. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who has been searching for a face product to remedy similar issues like I was having

It’s soaks in nicely and all my other actives apply nicely on top. It has a nice scent which isn’t overpowering. I like the pump, it makes it easier to apply and distributes the right amount of product so there is no wastage. I've noticed small changes in fine lines and my skins texture especially my pore size. Skin care does not have to be expensiv.

I can say I quite enjoy the product - yay! Firstly, I am in my late twenties and have normal to dry skin. It’s gentle on my skin and provides a good amount of hydration in addition to my evening skincare routine. I feel like my skin looks a little more glowing in the evening as well since using this product. I also love how the serum comes in an easy to dispense pump so I can monitor how much product I distribute on my skin.

As I am nearing my 40s, I am noticing a lot more fine lines, especially around my eyes. I feel using this serum has improved the appearance of fine lines and has made my skin look clearer and brighter. And as someone who does occasionally get sensitive skin, I can gladly report that I have had no issues with this serum.
