Directions

Place the brush at the lash roots and wiggle it to intensify and define your lashes with the mascara formula. Draw it upward to ensure even coverage to the tips. For heightened intensity, apply a second (or even a third) coat for lashes that achieve dramatic length without weighing you down. To define your lower lashes, remove any excess mascara by wiping the wand with a paper towel. Hold the brush tip vertically and gently swipe from side to side for precise application.

I naturally have short lashes so curling can be quite problematic, however this wand (larger than what I’m used to) made it so easy to not only curl but extend my eyelashes in a way that I’d get with false lashes .The formula is flexible but thick formula which i love - I can build up volume without looking over the top and with one coat still achieve a more natural look - without clumping or smudging! This mascara is also incredibly easy to remove at the end of the day , which is super helpful as I can’t stand waking up with Panda eyes. Couldn’t recommend this product enough , will definitely be my new daily staple !

When used in conjunction with eyelash primer and a curler, the product has taken my stiff, stubborn lashes to lengths they've never been before! I usually prefer fibre mascaras as they add a bit of volume to my sparse lashes, but the shorter wand bristles were able to give a more separated, defined and clean look. The shorter bristles allowed me to easily maneuver the wand around the inner corners of my eyes, which lashes I've always struggled to coat. Keep doing what youre doing Revlon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A nice, natural looking mascara [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky to be selected for the Revlon Colorstay Xtensionnaire Mascara trial, and perfect that it was a mascara, as I just had finished the last of my current one! I loved the gold packaging, as it definitely does stand out and make the mascara look more premium. I found it did genuinely add length, but in more of a natural effect. I did not experience any heavy clumping and liked that the wand gave me a precise and even application. There was minimal flaking and transfer, which is something I always look out for with mascara as I am outdoors in the elements quite often. Another plus worth noting, it does come off easily at the end of the day with my usual face wash, as I am personally not a fan of having to remove my mascara off prior to washing my face.

I even tested it when watching sad movies and it was fairly tears resistant! No panda eyes in sight! The application is fairly easy and pretty on par with some higher end mascaras. The brush is a little bigger than I’m used to but I got used to it very quickly. I found that it gave me really amazing length that reminded me of false eyelashes I had used in the past. I would use this mascara for days and nights where I want a more extreme look, but it can also be used for everyday wear. I would definitely recommend this mascara to someone!

Safe for sensitive eyes too - which is important for me. My new go-to mascara - highly recommended! Bravo, Revlon! If you are looking for a new one - maybe give this a go.

It's really nice and buildable, without creating clumps. I find this mascara very true to the 'colour stay' name, as it is pigmented very black and has a really high impact look! I tried this over a two week period and it was really good for days at work but also buildable for nights out as well! I'd definitely recommend using an eyelash curler with it to see the full impact of the mascara - I think Revlon actually sell one at a pretty reasonable price as well. Definitely will be repurchasing.

When it comes time to take it off, it is smooth and not too clumpy; which can be a frustration to take makeup off as you just need it to be easy It might be a mix between waterproof and not waterproof, which makes the colour much darker I love this mascara it really is so glamorous

The packaging was gorgeous and gave a high end, luxurious feel. The tube was a good shape. The mascara brush was shaped perfectly and made applying the mascara a breeze. As recommended, I placed the brush at the end of my lashes and wiggled it up while blinking at the same time. It really helped the brush reach each lash and also separated the lashes at the same time. I only needed to do one coat to meet my needs for a day time look, but if you are using it for a night-time look then you could add another coat. I will certainly be adding this to my regular mascara collection especially because of the shape and length of the brush (I'm very picky).

Pros - The mascara lengthened my lashes a lot, and by adding a second or third coat of the mascara it lengthened them even more without clumping. I didn’t find the mascara to be overly voluminous, just adding the right amount of volume in my opinion for a semi natural look. I would definitely purchase for myself. Con - I found the mascara brush to be a little stiff and I wasn’t a fan of the gold packaging but obviously this is a minor issue.

I was able to build on with a second application and it didn’t clump at all and it started to lengthen my eye lashes. I could have probably applied a third application and it would have made them darker and longer. I wouldn’t say it’s the best lengthening mascara I have used but still worked really well and did what I wanted it to. I would recommend this product and I will keep using it as my daily as I love how it doesn’t clump together my eye lashes like a lot of mascaras do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's good and long lasting, but simple. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product applies smooth, looks nice and doesn't clump! Which is just fantastic. It doesn't "extend" Or boost the volume of lashes, but simply does what mascara typically does. It will definitely be my regular go-to mascara until I run out! However I do think the name/description needs to be changed to actually match what it does. Which is non-clumping, smooth application, well sticking and a nice lasting finish. I've tested the revlon colourstay Xtensionnaire mascara repeatedly, and even left it overnight and noted it lasts a good two days (though I recommend taking it off nightly for cleanliness purposes). I would recommend this product more to people who prefer something a little closer to subtle, rather than for performance or obvious mascara.

This one, the ColourStay Xtensionnaire, did a great job at lengthening and extending my lashes, which are usually quite short and as a blonde - light. I did need to apply a few applications however I find that’s pretty common with most mascaras. It gave a pretty natural day time look, and I probably could have added a few more coats to bring it into a nighttime effect. I’ve seen a few comments about the brush however I thought it was fine, I prefer brushes that are more on the stiff side as they tend to clump less. I didn’t notice any dark marks under my eyes at the end of the day, and relatively easy to remove with my oil based remover.

With a few coats, it worked well at defining and separating my lashes whilst giving them lift and slight volume. The brush is shaped with a twist within it, which works well if you also create a twist motion or side to side wiggle. I found the formula lasted a full 9-5 work day. It lasted the day but was also relatively easy to remove with micellar water and pads. The gold and black packaging is nice, adds a glamourous elegant touch. I would recommend this product, it works at defining the eyes with dark, separated and lengthened lashes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a surprisingly good mascara, the formula wasn't heavy and did really well for my thin eyelashes. Others usually start dropping my lashes back to straight sticks, so I was already happy with that! Packaging was very luxe with the gold body and the brush was the most interesting part. The brush is shaped like a DNA strand, in turn, those grooves helped fan out the corner lashes - brilliant! Wiggling the brush from the base of the lash to the top helped with lift and I also tried applying as normal - definitely wiggling made a difference. Imagine this would be the best way to utilise that shape of brush and it didn't clump my lashes either. Overall - it would be one of two mascaras that I would repurchase from a Priceline/drugstore.

Great for lengthening but I didn’t find it gave a whole lot of volume. I ended up pairing another mascara with it to get the best of both and it looked nice. It is a really light and comfortable formula though, which I enjoyed and it seemed to hold the curl relatively well. I find some mascaras are so thick and heavy they bring any curl in my lashes down but this was great. Overall it’s a nice mascara. I don’t see it replacing my current favourite though.

The brush/wand has different shape – looks like it’s a missing some parts in the middle  Lasts a long time and is super thick, separating, and a bit lengthening. I was actually surprised that my lashes are quite long and after applying it. It nicely separates my lashes so there is no big black parts left on the lashes like other brands can do. The best part is that is last long and even after nap (oh yes a nap in the middle of the day) my makeup is perfect- no smudges on the face or the pillow. Will defiantly consider to buy it again in then future and will recommend to other. Just love it.

It’s a nice everyday mascara and I love the way it make m lashes look for daily work schedule as I don’t want hard core mascara which is hard to take off at the end of the day and obviously not looking like I am caring extra 2 kg on my lashes . It is just perfect daily wear mascara. I love the gold and black packaging it comes in . It looks very high end in my beauty desk and I approach it everyday as of my liking . The mascara wond is very smart it looks like it has got Brussels in a circle which easy the application of mascara as it follows the circulation motion of the application and by doing this it coats every single lash on your eyes and also curls them at the same time . My lashes look fuller and black after application. It last for all day without any mess under my eyes . I like this for my daily wear routine . It is waterproof at the same time as it doesn’t transfer under my eyes . It is very easy to find in market as most of supermarkets and pharmacies stock revolving and this brand is often on sale which makes it very budget friendly. It’s a very sleek mascara tube and can fit very easily in any makeup vanity. Very nice mascara to try for daily wear.

It adds length and doesn't clump lashes on application, and the colour is intense. It lasts all day when I'm at work and best of all, it doesn't smudge under my eyes, and it's very easy to wash off so I dont damage my lashes. I'm so shocked, I've tried just about every mascara and the only one that I don't have issues with smudging or flaking is the Estee lauder double wear. Working as a nurse and still wearing masks, I don't have time to check my makeup often. I was expecting to have panda eyes, which usually happens when I try something new, so I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I'd definitely recommend this mascara and I would purchase as a cheaper alternative to my usual. It's only 4 stars as it doesn't hold a curl that well.

My eyelashes were long and definitely looked extended. I have very sensitive skin and eyes and I did not react to this mascara. It applied easily and consistently. The first coat gave me a natural extension and lash look. The second coat gave me a thicker more extended look. Both looked great. The mascara lasted the whole day, however it did start to smudge at the end of the day. It wasn't a terrible racoon look, but still did smudge. It was easy to wipe off as well and came off cleanly.

This mascara offers a natural looking lash and works best when paired with an eyelash curler to give the lash a bit of extra length and volume. However, the mascara itself didn’t really increase the length or volume of my lashes even after multiple coats. I like that this product was easy to apply and it washed off super easily without leaving black residue. I don’t mind a more natural looking mascara and this would be a nice option for a subtle everyday look.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Entry level mascara [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mascara is more for those who want a darkening effect on their lashes, rather than any volumising or lengthening. It would probably be a good ‘first mascara’ for a tween or teen. The brush itself was quite large and scratchy I found, and was hard to navigate through my lashes due to it’s size. It did tend to clump my lashes instead if separate them. I think the product is too thin and the brush overloads it, which results in the clumping. Overall I’m not a huge fan of it. I would recommend wiping the excess mascara off the brush before applying. I found that during the day it would smudge under my eyes, which is my absolute bug bear of mascaras. It didn’t smudge on my eyelids though which was good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not my perfect match [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always on the hunt for a new mascara to lift and lengthen my lashes so I had high hopes for this product given the name but unfortunately it did not offer the results I was looking for. The positives were that the pigment is really dark and the formula doesn’t clump so I was able to apply multiple coats however I didn’t find it gave my lashes any lift or extra length. I think this mascara would be great for those that are blessed with naturally long and curly lashes or if you like a more subtle looking mascara.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty good product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Colour intensity is quite good and I like the unusual shape of the wand as it helps to get a more consistent application to all lash areas, particularly closer to the inner and outer corners. In terms of the product itself I found that it stays on reasonably well however it did tend to get a bit messy by the end of the day, leaving me looking a little bit panda-eyed if I didn’t keep checking on it. Removal at the end of the day was quite easy and quick to achieve. I felt that it did lengthen and volumise reasonably well after a second coat so I wasn’t disappointed in that respect either. Overall I would say that this is a pretty good mascara that does what you would want and expect it to do and I will use it again, however o wouldn’t say that this will be my automatic go-to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for length but not volume [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the outer package of this product, it appeared high-end and the metallic casing made it easy to find in my makeup bag. When using I noticed a visible difference in the length of my lashes. The product was excellent at building length, but it fell short on adding any volume, even after a few coats. I found the spiral shape of the bush difficult to use and work into the base of my lashes, which was frustrating. Choosing natural products is not important to me, I'm happy to try anything. The formula of this mascara was good, it lasted all day without flaking. I would not purchase the product again as I prefer a more voluminising mascara. i would recommend it to family and friendly was who were after a light, lengthening mascara.
