Used pigeon wide neck and bun was taking in to much air, swapped to pigeon slim neck with S teats and worked much better but baby coughing and spluttering with teat, changed to Y neck teats and he is so much more settled, not fussing while feeding, cannot recommend the Y cut enough

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good flow control! The Y cut allows 100% flow control. Milk flows only when the baby sucks the teat. No chance of overflow. My baby now grew up to 14 months. still using this Y-cut. we tried the next level which is L size for 9 months. My baby wanted to hold the bottle by herself and with the L size teat whenever she tried to bring the bottle near to her mouth the milk was just sprayed in a straight line out! shooting out! milk was all over her face. She didn't like that. So, we stopped using the L size and moved back to Y-size and still using it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pigeon is Money Hungry These are exactly the same as the 6 month Y cut Pigeon teat. I emailed Pigeon to ask if they were exactly the same as I already had that stage. Pigeon decided to go down the route of 'deception will make us the most money rather than choosing to be honest. They evaded my repeated attempts to get a straight answer. These are the same. If you have the 6 month Y cut, don't bother to upgrade.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ventilation hole sucks I was impressed with pigeon up until this particular test (6+ month Y Shape) no matter how hard I try to keep the ventilation holes unblocked, they continually do so creating and inverted teat putting my baby off drinking the rest of his bottle. I will be trying to 9 month old round hole asap even though baby is only 7 months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big No I bought 10 of these teats for bub who turned 6 months and they are useless (i have had issues with other teats as well (i have bulk bought the glass bottles that came with the 4m+ teats which were useless too but bought same teat elsewhere with no issues and we have stuck with the 4m+ teat). Nothing comes out baby screaming for milk after trying to feed for 20 mins. Wasted money and time

The previous teets were excellent but when my son drinks from the Y teet all of the air gets sucks out of the teet and he has to stop feeding so I can unscrew the bottle/teet lid to let the air out and then the teet becomes dislodged. Sometimes the milk spills out, very frustrating. We bought 8 teets and I regret it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Skip this teet Placing your confidence in a product can sometimes leave you frustrated and out of pocket. 6month Y teet is exactly that. The previous teets are round, and my son has never had an issue sucking milk out. The 6month teet changes to a Y which my son finds impossible to suck milk out of. Upon investigation, it seems many people have this issue, and have realised the 9month teet goes back to a round hole (??). I recommend saving your money, skip this teet and wait until your baby can have the L. Within two feeds we reverted back to his old teets, and will wait for the L size closer to 9 months. Extremely annoyed as we bought 8 teets, unaware that this was a major issue.

There is virtually no flow and my baby has been very frustrated as barely anything comes out. I am disappointed as I trusted this brand and bought 8 which has turned out to be a total waste.
