Dry hair is best, so ensure your hair is at least 90% dry before using the device.

How do I clean the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Volumising Hot Brush?

When the brush has cooled down, use a damp, thin microfibre cloth and floss between the bristles in a vertical motion. This will clean any dust and residue.

How do I know when the temperature I have selected for the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Volumising Hot Brush is ready?

Heat up time is 4 minutes.
Whilst your brush is heating up, detangle your hair to allow for smooth styling.

Can I use the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Volumising Hot Brush with styling products?

It is recommended to ONLY use heat-protection sprays while using the device.

How often do I need to charge my Volumising Hot Brush?

We recommend charging the brush to full charge after each use this will ensure you have maximum styling time.

Directions

1. Charge for 2.5-3 hours (2V) with supplied charging cable before first use. The LED red light will turn blue when fully charged.
Note: The Volumising Hot Brush cannot be used while charging. When the battery is low the red LED lights will sequentially flash to make you aware the battery is low. Depending on the temperature selection, your remaining usage time will be between 2-6 mins.
2. Ensure hair is clean, dry and knotless with a Lady Jayne detangling brush before styling.
3. Turn Volumising Hot Brush on, by pressing the Power / Temperature Button ( 'D' ) for 3 seconds.
4. Use the same button to select the temperature best suited for your hair.
5. Section hair between 4-5cm in width and clip to allow for easy styling.
6. Begin with front sections working your way to the back sections by moderately stretching each section with your free hand while using your dominant hand to place the Volumising Hot Brush pointing upwards at an angle at the root to wrap half of hair section around the barrel for 6-8 secs.
7. Brush SLOWLY to naturally unravel section and brush until end of section is reached.
8. To create lift at the crown, place the Volumising Hot Brush at the root horizontally and wrap hair around the barrel and hold for 6-8 secs then unwind.
9. For a more textured natural look, alternate your styling direction with each section.
10. After use, turn your Volumising Hot Brush off by pressing the Power button.
11. After every brush, for next-use convenience, insert charging cable. Once LED lights have turned white remove charging cord.
12. Allow Volumising Hot Brush to cool before storing in velvet pouch provided.

It's a really nice pre-styling tool, to help smooth and tame any flyaway and fuzz. It creates a soft bend in the hair, mimicking the effect of a blow-dry. The tool itself does not heat up a lot, so it is very gentle on the hair. I would recommend this product if you like the polished look of heat styling, without the damage and over-processing. I have used this on friends and family and I think it works best on shoulder length finer hair, if you have thicker longer hair it definitely will take a lot more work.

It is super convenient and easy to use as it is charged by a USB port and is cordless. I am currently travelling on holidays and have taken the brush with me as it is light weight and super easy especially when you are on the go! I use the product after I have washed my hair and dried it until it is still semi damp. It gives really good volume when you use it at the root of your hair and has really helps to smooth out my hair, removing all frizz which is essential when your on the go and don’t have that much time for a full blowout. I have thin hair and it helps me to create a curl however it doesn’t seem to last that long unless I use heaps of hair spray.

It was so easy to use, and really helped me get ready quickly especially in the mornings when I’m running late. It heats up quickly, and works even on slightly damp hair. I like to style my hair with subtle curls and it was easy to twist the brush as required to get the result I wanted. I have naturally wavy hair and this does the job when it comes to maintaining those curls. Unlike using a straightener or curler, I find that my hair doesn’t feel heat damaged and leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. I’ll definitely be bringing this with my when I go on trips, as an essential in my bag.

Love that it doesn't have cords, makes it fun and manageable to tame my unruly hair. I've used it for a few times now and find that my hair remains styled for longer. I feel this works well for medium to shoulder length hair. I've been able to make curls, and it adds wonderful volume. Will definitely recommend for family and friends looking for a volumizing brush. The cordless feature is definitely underrated, will not be able to go back to tools with cords anymore.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Claudia L. from Convenient and easy to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lady Jayne Pro Volumising Hot Brush is easy to use and particularly good if you are travelling as it is portable, wireless and comes in its own bag, There are three temperature options - I chose 200 degrees as my hair doesn't hold curls very well. As my hair is quite flat at the top, the brush is able to effortlessly add volume and lift my hair. The bristles are gentle and glides smoothly through the hair without causing damage or tangling it. The only downside is the heat still isn't enough to create volume as quickly as I would like; I have to use it on each strand for at least 20 seconds to see a noticeable difference and for the shape to hold.

It’s quick and easy to use, I was able to get two uses out of it before needing to recharge again (approx 25mins battery life - could be longer and would be my only point for upgrade). Comes with a usb cable which needs connecting to an existing plug (Apple plug point for example). It heats to three different settings, I always use the middle setting for styling products to protect my hair and was able to achieve great volume. The key is to wrap hair from the root to achieve max uplift, alternatively I start wrapping the hair part way down to achieve a more relaxed look. I always spray a little hairspray over my hair once finished to ensue it holds in place and give it a light brush with a curling brush about 10mins after styling. Overall I really like this product great for on the go mornings after the gym. I’ll also take this product away with me for travel - bonus it comes in a little black pouch for easy storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair type is thick, wavy long hair so I was cautious as to how well this brush would work with my hair. Being a dry styler, on my natural hair it did take a few goes on each piece of hair to smooth out my natural wave, but once done it worked really well. The curl creates was really nice and bouncy, and help overnight. Unfortunately as my hair is so thick, and having to go over each piece multiple times, the charge wasn’t enough to last my whole head. For those with thick hair I would recommend using this product for ‘touch up’s’ rather than styling. If you are someone with thinner, naturally straight hair this will be great!!

Took me a few uses to get the hang of how to use it, but once I did I could definitely notice increased volume and less frizz. The wand is cordless which is super practical and the USB charger is super convenient. While I love that it adds volume and decreases frizz, it doesn’t really curl my hair so I have to use another tool to fully style it, for that reason I don’t use it every day but when I’m going out or if I don’t want to fully style it but still look pit together this is my go to! I love the colour, it looks so sleek and made a really nice addition to my hair tools. Overall I think it’s a great product and will definitely continue using it!

I have found it really easy to use. I like that it doesn’t have any cords so you can move around while using it and can also use it on the go. It heats up quickly and lasts long enough to style my long hair. I do need to charge it after every use and it charges up in a few hours. It makes my hair smooth and also creates waves like a blow out. I will continue to use this and recommend it to others looking for an easy to use styling tool.

E.g. in the car to work or a quick fix at the hotel. I have thick hair so I use the 200 degree option and it works perfectly well smoothing out the fizz and gives it a nice curl at the end if I turn the brush as I brush it down. It looked like I've spent time blow drying but I haven't. I've given it 4 star is because it does take 5 mins to warm up to the heat that works on my thick hair and I do need to brush it a few times to get it right. However it is a great product to put it a suitcase for a night away or even to use in the car as it doesn't need to be plugged in! And you definitely won't get any heat burns from this product.

I wouldn't call it curly or wavy though. The brush combs and separates the hair strands while the heat from the tool lifts and creates volume.The tool doesn't heat up too much which I can appreciate as I don't want to over heat or fry my hair. My hair is less frizzy using this hot brush. The best part is the hot tool brush is w-i-r-e-l-e-s-s. It has a charging dock which you can charge the hot tool brush on. But you don't have to have a cord plugged in while using the brush so it feels nicer.

I have pretty thin hair so thought it would work really well. It is easy to hold and handle and it’s easy to charge. I must admit I had trouble knowing if it was even on or not as I didn’t really feel the heat and had to read the instructions a few times. I think it did help with volume at my crown and maybe softening some of the frizz but didn’t have much luck with styling. I like that the handle of the brush stays cool as well as the bristles and that it comes with a travel pouch. I’ll keep trying to use this and watch some YouTube tutorials in case I’m missing something!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Glor97 from Nice curling, terrible battery The concept of this brush is awesome, being cord free and lightweight is great. Where it falls incredibly short is the battery life. It sucks! I only use it for styling my curtain bangs (takes about 7mins including heating time) and I am lucky if I get two uses out of it without needing to recharge it (using it at either 180 or 220 degrees). Either make it a corded product, or at the very least, make it so it can be used when plugged in to the charger! There have been a handful of times where I have gone to use it and the battery has died, and then I have no way of using it until I have waited a couple of hours for it to charge. I really did think that in 2023, there are strong enough batteries to give this thing a chance of being used multiple times on a single charge. Once charged, I do like how it styles my hair, but the battery issue is a real fatal flaw for me.

But, & it's a huge BUT for me! It takes 2.5 hours to charge! Then I get about 15 minutes of use before having to charge it again for another 2.5 hours! WHY? My phone takes an hour to charge & lasts all day. I have a chargeable Thin Lizzy body brush & I get at least 6 uses out of it before it needs to be recharged. This volumizing brush is such a disappointment & a waste of money!!!!!🫣

It still had some charge left so when I used it I was happy with the effect it had on my hair to create volume and a soft wave. However, even upon exchange the new device did not charge. I notice that other reviews mention the same issue with charging, and so I troubleshooted with other cables and power points, but no dice. I would not chance it. The hot straightening brush is INCREDIBLE, though, and it is the reason why I was so excited to get my hands on this brush.

I have thick hair and didn’t really work for me, I also didn’t get many instructions in my box and I think the brush should be rotating because it would be much easier to use and it should make a noise when it’s hot enough as I didn’t know when it’s ready as nothing changed colour or beeped at me. I probably wouldn’t use this for any styles as it takes a long time
