Durably moisturises and biologically stimulates the skin’s natural moisturising capacities thanks to the Aquagenium™ patent. From BIODERMA’s research labs, this innovative patent retrains the skin to generate its own moisture by stimulating the natural water channels within the skin which are essential for water circulation. Combined with stimulating the natural production of skin lipids, Hydrabio Gel-créme promotes water retention in the epidermal layers to create lasting hydration. The multi-lamellar emulsion within Hydrabio Gel-crème is structured the same as the layers of the surface of the skin, meaning key hydrating ingredients have the ability to penetrate deeper into the epidermis to where they are needed.
• Apple seed extract and niacinamide make up the Aquagenium™ patent to generate immediate and long-lasting hydration by biologically relaunching the skin's natural water channels and stimulating the production of lipids within the skin barrier.

Directions

In the morning and/or at night, apply Hydrabio gel-crème to face and neck, after cleansing with Hydrabio H2O. Massage into the skin until absorbed. Excellent makeup base.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bioderma HydraBio Gel Creme The product's description: Moisturising care with a light texture for normal to combination sensitive skin. Moisturises and enhances the complexion in one easy step. Fresh and melting gel cream. Pollution, stress and cold contribute to skin dehydration and premature skin ageing on a daily basis. When the skin becomes dehydrated the epidermis breaks down, forms fine lines and feels tight. Consequently, the complexion loses its colour and becomes dull. Laboratoire Bioderma innovates and creates new generation physiological moisturisation. Thanks to an emulsion inspired by the structure of the epidermis the active ingredients of the Aquagenium patent act in a more targeted and effective manner to reactivate the natural moisturising process and boost water circulation within the cells. Thanks to it's smoothing action HyrdaBio Gel Creme refines the skin texture and revitalises the skins natural radiance. HydraBio Gel Creme is enriched with vitamin E which helps protect the skin against oxidative stress and combat premature cutaneous ageing. Results: rebalanced and durably moisturised the skin regains its radiance, softness and plumpness. Fine lines are diminished. Very good tolerance. Non-comedogenic. Scented formula. About the product: The BioDerma Hydrabio Gel Creme comes in a 40ml white plastic tube with a pump dispenser. It has a creamy consistency, similar to that of a light day cream. It is white in colour, lightly scented with a slight chemical scent. It is very mild and not at all offensive. The creme is easy to dispense from the tube, three to four pumps is plenty for a full face application. It is very lightweight in feel, absorbs rapidly with no residual after feel. My thoughts on the product: I picked this one up by accident, I was originally after the HydraBio serum and mistakenly picked this up instead as it was right next to it. I liked the lightweight feel of it, I found it to absorb very rapidly (within ten seconds or so) with no residual after feeling left behind on the skin. I used it after my hyaluronic serum and followed immediately with my RHO and moisturiser. After application my skin felt very smooth and soft; throughout the duration of use I can't say that it has helped to diminish fine lines (as at present I do not currently have any, except for under the eyes). Other than leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth after application I can't say that I have noticed any visible difference to my skin. The final verdict: I won't be re purchasing this one, I didn't find it to be as moisturising as I was expecting, it does work well underneath makeup however; hence the neutral rating. This is a good base for makeup application. It didn't appear to have any other visible benefit for my skin other than leave it feeling soft and smooth so I won't be re-purchasing this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light and moisturising This Hydrobio Gel Creme is quite light and refreshing when applied. Even though I applied the Gel for a few days in the morning I didn't experience any increased radiance in my skin however it did moisturize it well. If you're looking for a heavy moisturizer this wouldn't be the one for you but if you're looking for a light summer moisturizer then this would be ideal as it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy.
