General Information

Swisse Skincare Glycolic 10% Resurfacing Night Serum is a lightweight, multi-tasking formula that improves skin texture, reduces the appearance of fine lines and helps fade dark spots. Formulated based on scientific evidence, it contains active ingredients 10% glycolic acid, pro-vitamin B5 and hyaluronic acid, and is carefully pH-balanced for optimal performance. Continued use reveals smoother, more refined skin texture and a noticeably brighter complexion.

Directions

SHAKE BEFORE USE. Dispense one pump onto hands and apply to cleansed skin, avoiding the eyes and lips. Do not rinse. Some light, temporary tingling may be felt with first few uses. Limit use initially to 2 times a week and gradually increase as tolerated or advised by a skin health professional. Recommended for night-time use.

So easy to put on whilst doing your skincare routine right before bed and waking up with super hydrating and smooth skin, my skin is loving it especially with how quick it started to show results. You can absolutely feel the tingling once applied, so I recommend starting slow and placing only on key problem areas to not irritate the skin to much. This is a great addition to my nighttime routine on off-nights of retinol to brighten my complexion.

I started using it 2-3 times a week as directed and noticed so many changes in my skin! It seems to be so much more moisturised than previously, and I noticed that the dark circles under my eyes have lightened up. What a life saved after having a baby and being tired as well as looking tired! It also helped with some pigmentation of my skin on my cheek from a scar that I have from quite a few years ago. It also has a really pleasant smell, I can't quite put my finger on what scent it is, but it's a mix of natural and sweet. Overall I am really happy with this product!

This has been my first time using a glycolic night serum so as per the bottle instructions I have only been using it twice per week at night time and using my normal moisturiser in the morning only. I didn't have any tingling feeling like the packaging says I might have so I was able to apply every night, and I applied sunscreen every morning. I do think if it was used continuously the dark spots would eventually disappear or fade out but in saying that it might take a really long time.

As it contains AHA I have also been using sunscreen every day to prevent any skin sensitivity. As I have only been using it for 2 weeks the only benefit I have found is my skin feels hydrated. I have dark spots however I’ve noticed no difference in them fading and I’ve noticed no differences in my pores on my nose. Despite the minimal benefits I will be continuing to use it as I do love the hydration aspect.

One full pump per dose, so you don't need to worry about wastage - another win! The product spreads easily and soaks in quickly. Two weeks so far and I can see slight lightening of pigmentation and dark spots, and my skin feels more hydrated. Thankfully, even with sensitive skin, I did not have any tingling or adverse reactions to this product.

I was getting a lot of little bumps around my chin and cheeks and with consistent use my skin texture is so much smoother. I’ve noticed a slight decrease in some pigmentation from old acne scarring, so I think with longer use it would help to fade these more. The product did sting and tingle my skin a bit when I applied it, not nothing uncomfortable and it says to expect this anyway so I wasn’t worried. I did also appreciate the hydration I got from this with the hyaluronic acid, it think this helped to balance out the tingly feeling. Overall I’ve been really happy with how this serum is working and it’s nice to see an affordable option that actually works.
