I have super sensitive skin, so I must be cautious about what I apply to my face. I tested my other body parts, like my neck, hands, and inner arms. I haven't tried it on my face yet, as I am pretty cautious. However, it does give the illusion of smoothness. The sponge glides smoothly, and it's slightly cold, which feels soothing. The packaging could do a bit better. I would recommend it.
