What makes the LED Device work?
We're glad you asked! Our unique LED light technology has a very specific 400-420 nm wavelength of visible violet light. This lights elevates the bleaching power of hydrogen peroxide, which is effective against a broad spectrum of stains. Is the teeth whitening device safe for use?
At Colgate, we take the safety of your dental care seriously. Our Teeth Whitening Device has been rigorously tested and is 100% safe for consumer use. It won't harm your tooth enamel or gums.

Will the teeth whitening device cause sensitivity?
This kit has been designed for no teeth sensitivity, however, each individuals teeth whitening experience can vary. If you experience more than mild tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort, stop use and consult your dentist.

How should the device fit?
Once you've applied the serum, insert the LED device into your mouth and bite down on the side wings if you find it necessary. The lightweight, flexible LED device moulds to your mouth, so you don't have to sacrifice comfort when it comes to whitening your teeth!

Why do my teeth have to be "dry"?
For best results teeth need to be "dry". After brushing your teeth, simply dab your teeth with a tissue or wipe them with your finger. The treatment quickly forms a smudge-proof hydrogen peroxide film on your teeth once applied. When your teeth are dry, the film adheres to your teeth better for enhanced whitening.

How much serum should I apply?
A thin layer of serum is all that you need. 1-2 clicks of serum is enough to whiten up to 4 teeth.

What if my pen runs out?

How long does the pen last?
The pen delivers 30+ treatments, but this can vary by user.

How often can I use the LED whitening kit?
Because teeth staining is caused mostly by what we eat and drink (tea, coffee, and wine), the longevity of whitening results can vary greatly among individuals. We suggest completing a full treatment with your Optic White FlexLight LED Whitening Kit up to four times a year to maintain a bright smile. That's 10 minutes a day for 10 days in a row x 4 times per year.

How do I get the best whitening results?
For best results, you should use the device for 10 minutes a day for 10 days in a row. Once you have completed your whitening treatment, leave the serum on for at least 4 hours and refrain from drinking and eating in those 4 hours. Better yet, allow the dried serum on your teeth to work its magic overnight while you catch those zzz's. The next morning, brush like normal to remove the serum coating and reveal your brighter, whiter smile.

Unlike the others, it didn't cause any discomfort in my gums, which makes me think they've improved the formula to be gentler. Plus, I could see a noticeable difference in the whiteness of my teeth after just one use. I'm very happy with the results and keep catching myself smiling in the mirror.

My theet are not profesionaly whitened and are naturaly are not very whitr, unfortunately I didn't see some amazing results, but I would say I feel like my theet are getting brighter.
