Directions

The packaging looks great and the first thing I noticed is the irresistible scent of this product - the perfect combo of coffee meets holiday. The shampoo lathers very well and you don't need a lot of product to feel it soaking into the scalp. The conditioner also goes a long way and instantly softens. I typically have very fine, dry, long hair and this shampoo and conditioner has left my locks feeling healthy, looking shiny and smelling luxurious. For anyone looking for a new go-to shampoo and conditioner, I would highly recommend these!

The smell is absolutely divine, your nose will be transported to a delicious mix of coffee, caramel and coconut. The shampoo lathers so beautifully, and leaves my oily blonde hair feeling so fresh and light! I've found I have had less noticeable breakage, and super hydrated happy hair. OGX usually does such cute products that smell great, and this is no exception. The gorgeous scent reminds me of a vanilla latte - perfect for when you're waking up in the morning! This shampoo lathers well, especially on a double-wash, and leaves hair feeling cleansed and fresh without any greasy or oily residue. The coffee scent was really nice and I could smell it on my hair for days after. I also find that I normally start to get oily hair a day after washing, but after using the Coconut Caffeine shampoo, my hair stayed nice and fresh for much longer. It left my hair feeling really smooth, sleek and shiny which I really liked. After a few weeks of using it, I also started to notice less hair fall with my washes. Highly recommend!

It is definitely the best OGX product I have tried and I've tried a lot! First off I didn't know a shampoo could smell so good, the scent lingers for days and I received many compliments. My hair was shinier and felt stronger after a few weeks. As I am only 4 months post partum I didn't notice any reduction in hair fall but my 13 year old son has longer hair and I noticed a lot less hair on his hair brush after a few weeks. I will definitely be repurchasing almost just for the scent alone, I definitely recommend!

I have used the shampoo and conditioner from this range for about a month now before the review. The shampoo comes in a typical OGX bottle. It smells delicious, literally - like the Irish liqueur Baileys. Anyone who loves coffee will love the smell. The fragrance doesn’t really linger though and is pretty much gone the next day I wake up. It has a creamy texture and lathers quite well with only a small amount. One of the key features of this shampoo is the combination of coconut and caffeine, which is meant to strengthen hair strands and reduce hair fall due to breakage. I do have quite a large amount of hair fall usually and this shampoo probably does help to reduce my hair fall by a little bit. What I also like about this shampoo is that it doesn’t dry my hair like some other shampoos do. The only downside I find is that it does makes my hair a little flat. Overall, a 4 out of 5 and I would recommend this shampoo to those who likes coffee flavour and are looking for shampoos that help to reduce hair fall.

I have fine oily hair and this had hydrated my hair in a way i have no seen outside of the salon.My hair can now last about 2.5 days after each wash and this has not happened with another supermarket/ chemist shampoo. Would recommend drying hair from wet with this shampoo to get the full effects of the caffeine infusion (that was the best way i got this from personal experience). The only reason for not giving it a 5 stars is the strong scent this product leaves in your hair. While a lovely scent quite stronger than i wouldve liked.

My hair hair feels stronger and I noticed a reduction in fall due/breakage. The bottle says it's infused with caffeine, coffee extract and coconut oil - the perfect ingredients for an anti-breakage shampoo. Great shampoo for promoting fuller and stronger stands. I also noticed that it's sulfated surfactant free and paraben free too, which is always a plus. The OGX range is in most supermarkets, making it not only affordable, but more accessible too. Do yourself a favour and try it to see the difference.

I’ve always had a lot of problems with hair falling out and breakage from past box dye experiences and have found a lot of shampoo and conditioners leave my hair feeling dry. This shampoo firstly smelt delicious and secondly left my hair looking shiny and feeling super soft. It’s one of the better shampoo/ conditioners I’ve used in quite a long time and will look to continue to use. I found price wise it was within reach of majority of households as it wasn’t on the higher end of the $ scale. Which is perfect given the stringent spending majority are dealing with right now.

I love my morning coffee and was really excited to see what this was like. The smell is devine!! As soon as you open the bottle the sweet smell off rich coffee surrounds you. The smell fills your shower and has you feeling like youre in a coffee shop. Yet it is not overpowering and the smell does not remain after you rinse out the shampoo. I have used this shampoo 2-3 times a week for the past month. I have brightly coloured hair that is colour damaged and prone to breakage. I feel like after using this shampoo for a week, my hair is definitely feeling stronger. I think that my hair is also looking shinier and more voluminous than before. The ends of my hair are by far a lot softer and less frizzy. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone who has heat or colour damaged hair that is prone to breakage

It reminds me of being on holiday in a tropical location. Ten out of ten for the smell. I wash my hair one to two times a week and always double wash at a minimum. The product lathered really well and I used this to double cleanse without the feeling of needing to go in a third time. When my hair dried it felt light weight and clean, really good for fine hair. I have not tried the conditioner but I use K-18 so often I do not use conditioner anyway. After I wash my hair with this product my hair doesn’t start to get greasy until day 3 which is nice for longevity. I would recommend picking up this product and giving it a go it’s a very nice shampoo and worth a go.

It smells like coffee cake and is very strong. Not everyone likes that smell, but I certainly did. I must say it was a bit overpowering, but once used and washed out, there was only a faint scent of it and so many people have said my hair smells nice. I like a shampoo that foams up, as I feel it gives me a better clean as I can spread it over my scalp easier. This shampoo did not foam up, so I was worried about how clean my scalp would be. I have greasy roots and usually day 2 it shows. My hair was so clean and soft after using this shampoo, it only started looking greasy after day 3. My hair was light, fluffy, clean and shiny. I really loved this shampoo and will buy it in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the OGX Anti-Hair Fall Coconut Caffeine Shampoo for about two weeks now, and I have some mixed feelings about it. The texture and lather of this shampoo are seriously on point. It's super creamy and that feels moisturizing on your hair. The smell though - it's nice, but SO overpowering. The fragrance is way too strong, and my husband told me I smell like a protein shake. The scent sticks around long after I've washed my hair. I have very thin hair which falls out when I wash it, and I do feel like my hair fell less using the product, maybe because of how gentle the lather is? I love the packaging and the colour, and a little goes a long way, which I learnt the first time I used the product when I used way too much. To sum it up, the OGX Anti-hair Fall + Coconut Caffeine Strengthening Shampoo is a real moisture powerhouse, despite the scent situation. It didn't work wonders for my hair fall, but it did provide some much-needed nourishment. If you can get past the strong smell, this shampoo might just be worth a shot for your hair care routine. Other reviewers seemed to love the smell, so if it's something you like it's a 5/5!

I have very fine and thin hair, which is also very long and I have a balayage colour with bleached ends and natural roots. And I used these products for over a month to really test them out. My initial first thoughts using this shampoo and conditioner was wow this smells exactly like a coffee Frappuccino. However, once washed out of your hair the smell subsided, so don’t worry you wont smell like this all day. The shampoo seemed to wash my hair thoroughly and I had no issues with this. However, the conditioner left my hair dry. I’m not sure if this due to the brand itself, or the fact that the caffeine dried my hair out, but after every use of the conditioner I had the same dryness. However, if I used this shampoo and my usual conditioner my hair was hydrated and smooth. So, if I was to use both the OGX shampoo and conditioner I would need to either double condition or use a hair oil afterwards to hydrate my hair and this was not ideal. The products also promised anti-hair fallout and reduced breakage. My hair surprisingly doesn’t have much breakage even through it is thin and bleached, it is still quite strong, so I am not able to comment much on whether this helped reduce any breakage, but I defiantly didn’t have any which is normal for me. However, I do have a high level of hair fall out usually. I would say these products did help to reduce hair fallout a small amount and I believe it may help reduce even more the longer these products are used. In summary, I think I would use this shampoo again, but substitute the conditioner for a more hydrating product. I personally did enjoy the coffee scent, but if you are sensitive to smells this may be quite strong for you. I believe my hair is quite healthy already and these products did not hinder that when I was able to substitute the conditioner with hair oil. And I would recommend these products for someone who is looking to improve hair fallout and breakage. Overall, I would give these products a 4 of 5 stars.

As soon as you open the bottle you are whisked away deep into a hip coffee shop with scents of caffeine, caramel and coconut enlightening your nose buds. Hands down, best conditioner my hair has ever seen (and it's seen a lot!) I absolutely love this product, and cannot recommend it highly enough! The smell is absolutely amazing, with just the right balance of coffee and coconut. I tend not to wash my hair too often as it gets oily quickly. This conditioner lathers up really nicely with a minimal amount and leaves my hair feeling super shiny, healthy, voluminous, and most importantly, not dry at all! I have recommended this to every single one of my friends and am proud to say that this will be my new go-to conditioner once I run out! Hands down, best conditioner my hair has ever seen (and it's seen a lot!)

It turned into my nightly coffee without the negative of caffine . My hair felt clean, soft and healthy afterwards but seemed knotter. My hair seemed more difficult to keep untangled. My hair still seeemed like it fell out at the same frequenancy or more but it might be removing the dead strains to create healthier ones. I also have thyroid issues which makes my hair fall out more frequent, so maybe that was the problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the last month I have been trialling the OGX Anti-hair Fall & Coconut Caffeine Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner. Firstly, I really love the strong sweet scent these products have. I'd describe it as kind of banana-caramel, strangely enough, with a hint of coffee. It doesn't stick around long though and is basically all washed from the hair after rinsing. While I didn't have any issues using the products, I did feel like I had to use more shampoo and conditioner than normal to get a good lather or even coverage. This isn't ideal for such small, pricey bottles. Finally, I wasn't that impressed with the results these products gave. I can't really comment on their strengthening/anti-hair fall properties as I didn't notice any difference, but I wouldn't really expect to after only a few weeks of use. However, I felt like I had drier and rougher hair than normal after using these products. Perhaps the conditioner doesn't condition very well? I didn't like to wash with these products too many times in a row. Instead, I would break it up with my usual shampoo and conditioner every once and a while to achieve smooth and soft hair again. Overall, I didn't mind using these products, but they didn't work for my hair so I wouldn't use them again.

I do feel like I noticed less hair falling out while using this product and my hair was beautifully soft. It lathers really well and a little goes a long way. The only thing I didn’t love was the scent but to be fair I’m probably one of very few people who will say this. It’s a really strong coffee/chocolate scent which I thought I would like because I eat/drink both of those things but this is more of an imitation version and is really strong. The first week I used it I could smell it in my hair all day but I slowly got used to it and it wasn’t as strong. As I said, I think most people will really like the smell but it just wasn’t for me!
