Directions

Apply shampoo generously to wet hair, massage into a lather through to ends, rinse hair thoroughly. After shampooing, follow with conditioner.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extending the life of colour [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OGX colour care shampoo has some amazing claims that uses a colour bonding pled technology along with anti fade ingredients that assists with the appearance of breakage, prevents damage and protects from sun rats to extend the life of our vibrant hair colour. I tend to get my hair done regularly at the salon so my hair does through a lot. I find that a few shampoos and conditioners strip the colour within couple of washes. So I was quite excited to try OGX colour care shampoo. The shampoo lathers nicely and noticeably cleaned my scalp on the first round. No need for a second cleanse. My hair didn’t feel strip or dry after washing the shampoo out and most importantly no colour was coming out! Yay! My hair was smooth. When my hair was dried, I noticed it wasn’t as frizzy as normal. Looked presentable and nicely. Didn’t have to do much styling. Colour was still strong. Paired with the conditioner really makes a huge difference.

The smell was divine and it perfectly lathered in my hair to leave it clean and feeling fresh! I have blonde dyed hair and this definitely maintained that fresh dyed hair shine. I love the packaging and looks beautiful on the shelf in my bathroom! I will recommend to my friends with blonde hair as it's great to prolong colour and strengthen after using harsh bleach on my hair! I liked to wash my hair twice with shampoo before I use conditioner and this made it feel extra clean and soft! I always follow up with the same brand conditioner to have extra healthy hair. Nothing to fault about this product, will be repurchasing when I need it!

The texture of the shampoo is nice (quite thick and creamy) and scent is really beautiful. I have noticed that while it locks in the colour it also moisturisers the hair leaving my hair soft, supple and shiny. It also keeps the vibrancy of the hair colour for longer. When paired with its conditioner, you get vibrant and soft hair. The bottle sizes are perfect, not too big, not too small and flip cap is really convenient too!

I have salon dyed hair in fashion colour, which requires bleaching prior to and needs to not only stay healthy but also to keep the colour vibrant. Was super impressed with this product, because my hair felt so soft and healthy after using. The colour of my hair also looked brighter and shiny, would definitely recommend using this product. A little bit goes a long way, and the product has a strong sweet smell to it. My hair felt very silky and any breakage seemed to lessen after using!

I colour my hair quite often so I am always on the look out to find a shampoo and conditioner that provides vibrancy while also strengthening my hair for my transition to blonde. It lathers really good and cleans my hair really well, especially for someone with oily hair!! It also has a really pleasant smell as I don't particularly like strong smelling shampoos. My hair seems to dry a lot softer and I am also finding it easier to style my hair with heat. Overall, I would definitely continue to use this product as I feel it has made my hair far more healthier. It is definitely a product I would recommend to friends and family.

I have colored hair and my hair feels very good after few wash. My hair had become super dry after color and after using this shampoo, the dry and dullness have become much less after few wash. My Hair has become soft and silky. I am very happy with this hair product as its sulphate free as well and my hair is very soft and smooth now. The smell of shampoo is very nice and refreshing. The hair looks much healthier even after jus few wash. I can see much difference after using this shampoo.I would like to recommend this product for everyone having colored hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to trail this as a member of the review crew and I'm thankful I got chosen as I would never of purchased this if not trying it. I've found Ogx expensive for the size buy given the results I would buy this. I have Blue/Black Hair and the blue sheen stuck around significantly longer without fading and I lost minimal colour of the Jet Black each wash in comparison to other shampoos. I get flaky skin on the back of my head which seen to decrease using this and my scalp felt well nourished. The scent I thought was nice and I didn't need to use much as it foamed up nicely. My hair was in real trouble from Breakage and hair fall so it was getting very thin. Since replacing my usual products with this I have alot less hairfall, it is alot stronger and feels alot fuller and not as limp and lifeless.

I have tried other OGX shampoos but found they left my hair greasy underneath, but not this one. My hair felt very clean and not wiry. I think the shine gives the illusion of colour extend but it doesn’t necessarily extend the life of the colour. I had used the OGX brand many years ago, which I was happy with at the time, but the new colour care range had me wondering why I stopped using the brand in the first place! I was very impressed with the Shampoo as it contains no parabens or phythlates, but still lathered quite nicely. Not only did it clean my hair thoroughly, it left my hair feeling smooth, shiny and strong. I would happily use this product again just for the smell alone, which is a dreamy, sweet coconutty scent that lingers for days on end, which I loved!

The shampoo is super moisturising and helps me keep my hair healthy! I’ve found that my hair has retained its strength - minimal to no breakage compared to when I previously dyed my hair and used other shampoos. I’ve found that a bonus is that my hair doesn’t get as oily either so I don’t have to wash as often (which would further wash out my hair colour!). I definitely recommend this shampoo, even to those without dyed hair as the formula is super strengthening! I recommend using this alongside the colour care conditioner as well. The fragrance is not too strong, which I appreciate.

I have been looking for alternatives to my salon shampoo and conditioner as they are super expensive and I can say that I would continue to purchase this product. I've tried OGX before but stopped using it as I found other haircare but once I tried the colour care shampoo I remembered how good the OGX products are. The shampoo lathers like a dream and smells like a dream! I'm extremely impressed with how it made my hair look and feel after I used it. My hair wasn't dried out and feeling like straw which is what a lot of shampoos usually do. As far as the colour care component goes, I don't think I've noticed a difference. My hair colour is dark brown and the product just makes my hair shiny and look healthy.

This shampoo claims to extend your hair colour for up to seven weeks and protect it from UV rays. The first thing I noticed about the product was the scent! Smells like shea butter/vanilla. My bf even commented on how nice my hair smelt. The consistency was great for a good lather and didn't feel too drying upon rinsing it out. I really like that it has incorporated a colour bonding plex technology into the shampoo (kinda like an affordable Olaplex!) It is also free from sulfated surfactants, parabens and phthalates which is essential, in my opinion.

Since getting my hair salon-coloured/bleached my already-curly, dry and damaged hair became worse. Using this shampoo helped not only cleanse and hydrate my hair, but also tame the frizz and made my hair look less damaged. It gave my hair a soft and healthy look, which was definitely noticeable. The only con for me, was that the scent was a little too strong for my personal liking and I did feel that I had to use more than usual product (compared to salon products). In saying that though, the price point that this shampoo comes at and the accessibility of it dismisses the cons. It's also a plus point that it's pareben free. Would recommend.

I have bleached my hair half a year ago and started to notice how important the shampoo is because my hair tangled easily after washed. Thank you to the OGX colour care shampoo which strengthens my tangled and damaged hair. The shampoo has a beautiful creamy texture which does not dry up hair but does the job in cleansing. It makes my hair healthy and moist. I particularly like the fragrance which is not very strong but soft, feminine with a touch of coconut sweetness. I would recommend this product for blenched hair especially if you are looking for an alternative to the coloured shampoo.

I have used OGX shampoos and conditioners many times before. I loved this just as much as the others and also loved the smell and feel of it very much like the other products OGX have. My hair felt sooo clean but soooo soft and bouncy after wards and was also a great pairing to use with the same conditioner in this range. It is a super affordable product and gets you the similar results you would get at a high end salon or high end expensive shampoos. I would not say it is anything groundbreaking, but I would definitely continue using it as it is super affordable and accessible. I know I can pick it up at my local Woolworths super market or Priceline or online too which makes it great. Potentially will keep using it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Protects colour, adds shine I colour my hair regularly and am always looking for ways to extend the colour. When I saw this shampoo I had to give it a go. I was really imp, for the money it’s as good as a more exsalon shampoo. The OGX shampoo did extend the life of my colour, it didn’t fade as quick and looked brighter and more vibrant. I also loved that it smoothed my hair and helped fight frizz which my hair is prone to, especially in damp weather. I have thick hair and this shampoo was perfect for taking it and adding moisture so it doesn’t feel dry. It lathers well and has a nice creamy consistency and leaves my hair feeling soft and looking shiny. I recommend using the matching conditioner for best results. A great product

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely shampoo and conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good Have just used both shampoo and conditioner and my hair feels very soft and hydrated after the first use. Lathers up really nicely, has a beautiful coconut like fragrance which I love. It felt like it cleansed my scalp well. In regards to colour I have a semi in that is pretty much due for a touch up so will have to keep using it till my next colour. But definitely feels very nice and soft which is what I’m after in both shampoo and conditioner. This formula seems great also with the bonding plex which helps with breakage and damage protection. I definitely feel my hair feeling more hydrated nourished and smells so lovely. Will be continuing to use more but so far so good :)

Nothing more and definitely not something that does anything special. It cleans my hair well but that's it. It smells incredible like watermelon, pineapple and coconut and it lingers which I like. It lathers well. For a shampoo I find that it actually softens my hair far better than it's matching conditioner. I coloured my hair at home dark brown a few days before this arrived to trial and haven't noticed that it extended my colour at all. I didn't notice that my hair was in any better condition after using this range either. It's still naturally frizzy. I also think this is over priced because the bottle is only 385mls. I would not recommend this if you are looking for a haircare range to make your hair colour last longer because it didn't do that for me. My hair coloured didn't look more vibrant either.
