Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not my thing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy other products from the Swisse brand but would not use this product again as it did not provide me with the benefit of brighter skin. I found the cream to be hydrating over the 3-4 weeks of use, but my skin feel warm after each use so I think it may have been a mild reaction. The cream was easy to dispense and had a strange but not unpleasant scent.

I really wanted to love it as I know how great niacinamide can be for skin, but it just didn't deliver the goods for me. The consistency is more like a gel lotion and it doesn't seem to spread very easily until you use 2 or more pumps at a time, which felt like way too much product. I didn't see too much of a difference in my skin pigment or brightness, and my skin still felt like it needed a more nourishing cream (when combined with using their glycolic brightening cleanser) even though I was using more than enough product. Overall, .I won't be using this again, but I am still glad I gave it a go.

A lot was needed to get good coverage with it as it felt like it didn't spread very far. It took a while to be absorbed into my skin and didn't feel very nice once it had. It felt kind of tacky. The scent was horrible to me. So much so that I stopped using it after a few weeks of trying to give it a go. I didn't notice any improvement in my skin. No noticeable difference in pigmentation.

I had to wash off the cream the second time. I have sinus and hay fever and this cream's fragrance effected my allergies. I think it was too flora. I gave this cream to my brother and he loves it. The packaging easy to use. I didn't like how there was no SPF added. Smell the product before you buy it to see if you like the fragrance.

If you have dryer skin, this isn’t for you! It felt lovely going on, but I felt I had to put another moisturiser on top after, it just felt like my skin soaked it all up in seconds. Not sure if this is different for oiler skin! Unfortunately I stopped using this one!

I also found the consistency not ideal and it seemed to leave a residue that was not able to be absorbed like a standard cream. I would not recommend this.

It spreads far and soaks into skin well without leaving any sticky residue. I haven’t noticed any brightening effects yet but will continue using and combine with the Vitamin C cream. It doesn’t make me breakout either as some other brands have. No smell. Quite pleasant.
